And we have a new cess pool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 I am listening to the announcement now and it sounds awesome. It's going to be a street fair/carnival atmosphere as opposed to a dessert party like last year. Funnel cake! What else do I need to say?

Friends are going to visit during the event... street performers, Woody, Toy Story characters...

And they said there would be "virtually no limits" on attendance.

The group congregates at the gates after close and gets led back to the party area by Sarge and the green army men!

Hi Gnomies!

I'm so sleepy....this job is such a workout it's crazy! But I come home at the end of each day absolutely exhausted!

Welcome home Katie!! Yes I plan on making the most of my last few days of vacation. I was thinking of going to the classroom in the morning again but I think I have talked myself out of it and am just going to enjoy the house and get some cleaning done!!!

Well, we just found out that we will be getting a 9 week old Bichon female puppy, as soon as she has been spayed. I hope that does not take too long!!!! We can't WAIT to pick her up!!!! Megan has decided that we will name her Mia.....that was the name Tom and I had already picked out for our second daughter, but since that can't happen, I am glad to pass it on to the puppy!!!! I hope to have pictures for you all soon!

Well Gnomies, today is the FIFTH day in a row that I have some sort of medical appointment for my surgery. I am burned out. Yesterday I just wanted to to stop the whole process that is how wiped out I am. Sigh. I had to go to the cardiologist yesterday, my appointment only took a few minutes and then he tells me I need two more tests in order to be cleared for surgery, one of which I had done a month ago!! Not happy at all. So I told him that I already had one of them and if there was anyway they could do the stress test that afternoon that would be great. Of course not, so I have to go back today and get it done and they might have to do the echocardiogram again if he not satisfied with my previous results. I'm so tired of all of this. I know the end result will be worth it but right now I'm having trouble seeing that.

Hang in there! Remember how excited you were to post that your surgery date was official?! Keep that excitement in mind. This stuff is annoying but if it's necessary to get there then you'll do it!!! Good luck w/ the tests- I'm sure they'll go fine (annoying but fine).

Work this week is insanely busy because of the big conversion weekend this week. It's the worst time for me to have all of these appointments, I feel like I am a chicken with my head cut off. Plus I have been taking all this time unpaid so I have some sick time while I'm out so I don't have to pay for my benefits.

I know it's going to be worth it...it's just getting through these last two weeks. I want to close my eyes and wake up the morning after my surgery.

Hey strangers! LL- don't lose focus! They are just making sure you are clear for surgery. They don't want to take chances so just keep that in mind- your safety comes first!

I'm off for 1,2,3,4 days! Yay!

Today we gotta register Rachael for school, take her shopping for supplies, drop off my transcripts to Rockford College (going to be majoring in Education, of course! ) and drop off some way overdue books to the library.

I wish I could say I'm packing but we aren't looking at the houses until tommorow after work. I'm nervous they'll be sold already by then but that's when my realtor is available. I just am trying to keep telling myself "If it's meant to happen, it will happen."

I can't believe it's back to school already! The summer really flew by this year.

Well I did fall back asleep but it was about 3:45am LOL and got up at 7:30am Oy its going to be a long morning!!!

Julez- Good Luck with your house hunting!! And how exciting about starting school...you will do fantastic!

C...enjoy your day off!!! I know I'm going to enjoy my last Friday before going back on Monday!

LL...I know all of this is very frustrating but in less than 2 weeks you will be done with all of this...it will go by quickly!!

What is it about the end of the week (I am off tomorrow) that always leaves me exhausted. It's 7:30pm and still light out but I'm considering heading up to bed. I think my mind just tells my body, "you did it; made it through another week" and I'm ready to collapse!

I had my stress test today...it went fine or at least I think it did. Of course they can never give you results right there. I'm holding my breath, hopefully this is IT before Surgery.

The weather here is nuts. It's very cool outside so I think I'm taking a glass of wine upstairs and having myself a nice warm bubble bath. Let the long weekend begin!

Happy friday, especially to those of you with the day off!!

I forgot to mention we have a visitor at our house:

You can see he quickly made friends with some of the other members of our house.

He also got into a little trouble last night

Then this morning apparently needed a little pick-me-up

The little guy is mostly being good and following the house rules. Unfortunately, he didn't make it to us in time to join our vacation but we will enjoy him in the meantime. Who does he visit next?
