I have been so busy over the past few days............................................



















































because I GOT THE JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been on an emotional rollercoaster---excited, relieved, scared to death, overwhelmed, etc., etc., etc.!!!!!! On top of that, the Mommy emotions are starting to rear their ugly heads as it really sinks in that my "baby" is going to be going to school FULL TIME this year......in just under a month even!!!!!!! ACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to miss my bugs SO much! I am one of those Moms that simply adores her child....like I seriously stare at her in amazement that she is MINE!!!!! I know she is ready for the BIG TIME, but I don't think I am ready for her to be ready yet. Make sense?!!??!

Anyways, lots going on, lots to do, and I hope in the middle of all that I get to spend more quality time with my baby girl. Did I mention I love her?!?!?! Hee hee hee!!! She's the greatest!

Congrats to Katie and Paula!!!!!! I am so glad that we have all gotten a fairly good dose of pixie dust recently.....btw, JJ, I can't WAIT to see pics of the house!!! So happy for you two!

I still remember Patricks first day of Kindergarten. It was a teacher work day in my district and I was a blubbering mess! I wonder how I'll be on Daniel's first day? I suspect I will be busy enough with my own first day that I won't have time to ponder it much.

Today I was leaving Walmart and the city bus had just pulled up and it started to unload a wheelchair and the warning beeps took me momentarily to our happy place

Tomorrow is my 20 year class reunion and I can't decide if I'm excited about it or not. I had a dream earlier this week that I was back in the jr high lunchroom and nobody wanted me at their table How sad those anxieties are still buried in there! There is a lunch picnic and an evening dinner. I signed up for the lunch only because I wasn't sure who will be there and didn't want to spend $40 on dinner not knowing if there would be anyone I wanted to talk to. I will bring a change of clothes in case I have a great time at the picnic and want more. If not, I'll spend the money on taking Shelby out for drinks after the kids go to bed!

Anyone with good plans this weekend? When does Jackie return?

No mystery. I'm here. Just a little down in the dumps. Unfortunately going away didn't work out so I'll be sticking closer to home. Actual b-day is Sunday but thanks for thinking of me!

Hope you have fun at your reunion, Katie. Isn't is scary how quickly time goes by?

I think I saw somewhere that Jackie and co head home tomorrow. I hope they had a great time. I'm sure they did and am definitely looking forward to hearing all about it!

Oh my gosh this heat is ridiculous!! The high for today is 101, heat index of 108 and tomorrow...104 with a heat index of 111!! Holy crap! And we're supposed to be having an outdoor party for Blake's mom's 50th birthday party. I'm hoping you all are doing something cool indoors this weekend! Miss you!
