Gnomes Gnomes on the Range!

Hi ladies! Hope everyone had a lovely weekend! :)

I spent it working my butt off! We had our second highest sales EVER in jewellery on Saturday - they'd better be happy about my performance! Especially since they gave me so much crap about having to take time off at the beginning of December for my stupid teeth....stupid teeth! UGH :( December first I am having:

4 Wisdom Teeth extracted
2 root canals
1 crown placement
1 crown replacement
deep cleaning
2 front filling
1 splint on back tooth
bite readjustment through grinding down the back teeth
2 injections into the jaw to help with my TMJ
Full X-rays of teeth and jawline and neck

Should be enough for a couple of extra days off right?!

Jackie - I read the Heretic's Daughter a couple of months ago, it's good! Makes you wonder about people's thought processes...

Julez - I'm so happy to hear from you!! I've been thinking and praying for you! I'm not on FB so I don't see the updates...how are things?

Paula - I'm so glad to hear the good news! You must be sooooo happy! Hopefully everything is still good in 6 months!!

Katie - well, as irritating as it may be, it does give you the time to plan out a whole bunch of different options and figure out which one would be best! The only one I've been too out of them all is Montanna which is beautiful. Some friends and I went down there on a road trip when I was living in Alberta...:)

Hope everyone is having a good night! :)

Paula - WOO HOO!

Jen - We are buying that shirt in January. :lmao::banana:

Jackie - Thanks for the book suggestions, I am going to go request them from the library RIGHT now. :yay:

Stace - Ugh to all the teeth work.

:cool1::banana::cool1: Today we celebrate a very special Gnomie!!!!:cool1::banana::cool1:

Happy Birthday Paula!!!!!!

Thanks Jen :goodvibes

I think since I can't be in WDW with C today.... being here with you gals (and making Tom take me to Olive Garden lol!) is the BEST BIRTHDAY a gal could have!

First of all... :bday: to Paula!! :lovestruc

Julez - I'm so happy to hear from you!! I've been thinking and praying for you! I'm not on FB so I don't see the updates...how are things?

What a weekend! So Friday night a guy I met online met my friends and I out and we had a good time! He's 36, 3 kids, a nuclear something-or-other that takes him on the road 6 mos out of the year, a former cop. Good guy. The conversation got wierd about the last hour though and I didn't think I'd hear from him again but he messaged me last night through FB. I'm thinkin' I"ll pass though because even though he seems like a good guy, I don't think I can handle someone being away so much, I have a lot of lonely days/nights when Rachael is having her time at her Dad's. Sometimes he even goes overseas for months at a time so... not thinkin' I like that idea.

Saturday night I played driver to my friend Cherry's night out. It was kinda boring and I realized I think I'm over my post-seperation cabin fever routine. I went a little wild there this summer. But I started going to a counselor last Thursday, and have been doing a lot of divorce recovery stuff I've found online, reading a lot of books, and I'm starting to feel better.

Wish I could say the same for Jim but, he's crazy. He found out I had a profile on a dating site (that I'd actually deleted 3 days before) and went ballistic. He's been harrassing me through texts, but I don't respond unless he needs something regarding Rachael. Can't fix Crazy. Done and Done.

Sunday, I did some piddly stuff around the house and then got a super surprise in the form of a text from a "dreamy" guy from high school letting me know that he is moving back to Illinois from Idaho and that he will be back before Thanksgiving! So that's....interesing....

The last 2 days at work are INSANE! Sooo busy! I need to find holiday work though 2 days a week and every other weekend though, so WISH ME LUCK!

TTyL girls! :lovestruc

Julez, glad you are starting to find a good balance for your life! Sorry you are dealing with crap from Jim. I have a friend with an ex that does stuff like that all the time. She has to google herself every week to find out what he has done with her name online and he takes her to court over everything. most recently, he has attempted to stop their son from getting some medical intervention for a growth deformity just to try to prove he has some power. luckily the judge ordered the treatment but why would anyone in their right mind prevent their kid from getting what they need just to feel better about themself :sad2: What an A$$

Happy belated Birthday Paula!!! :) :) Woot Woot for Olive Garden!! Hmm...maybe I'll drive down this weekend for some....:) Was thinking of you yesterday! I had to train a new employee named Paula! She was also very nice but yesterday wasn't her B-day! ;)

Julez - Sorry to hear that Jim has become so hard to deal with. It's funny how people change right infront of you...sounds like you're having some fun though! :)

Yea, it is crazy how things change and people change... that's for sure!

How are all my gnomies today? Another busy day at work here!

:woohoo::dance3: Hey Gnomies!!! IT'S FRIDAY!!! WOOT WOOT!!!! :dance3::banana::cool1:

I'll second that!! WOOT WOOT!!

today is the end of the first quarter so we have 1/2 day of kids then 1/2 work day (and my morning classes are my good ones and I have quite a bit of work to catch up on plus a meeting with counselors to discuss student progress so I am HAPPY!!)

WOO HOO!!! It's Friday!!!

I'm going to the doctors today even though my stupid scale is being so stubborn at home. BOO HISS SNARL.

I'll second your Boo Hiss Snarl at scales LL - I have levelled off and now there is nothing happening! Good luck at the doctor!

I'll give a few WOOT WOOT's for today being Friday since I have the whole weekend off!! Yay! :) Anyone have any exciting plans for the weekend?

Hola, chicas! Checking in from sunny FL to ask, is the concept of personal space outdated?? I just had a man sit on a bench closer to me than some men I've dated...

That's hilarious, C!

Tonight, haunted hayride with my princess.... Tommorow morning, car shopping...Tommorow afternoon- Trick or Treating at a local museum campus... Tommorow night- Birthday party for my nephew with the fam... Sunday is a Halloween party at a local playworld-place and ice rink! Pictures to follow on fb!

Have a great weekend, girls!

I'm going on a haunted hayride tomorrow too Julez! But it definately wouldn't be good for your princess! It's for 15 and up only! The story their basing it on is actually a local story that many of you would probably find interesting! It's the story of a family from Lucan, Ontario (about 20 mins. north of London) who were massacred by a group of vigilantes. One of the men of the family got drunk and murdered another townsperson in what is assumed to be a horrible accident during a fight...in anycase, he did his time in jail but the community didn't think that was enough, so they murdered the whole family and burned down their home. Lots of books and plays have been written about it and there's a museum and stuff. They hold the hayrides at our pioneer village so they're going to play out the whole story. It should be pretty spooky...and then my cousin and I may go and see Paranormal Activity 2 on Sunday afternoon after church! Should be a frightfully fun weekend! :)

http://donnellys.com/mainpage.html if you want to read more!

C - maybe the man was trying to get close...;) Maybe he wanted a date! Hope you're having a blast! :)

How was your hayride, Stace? Ours was, in the words of Rachael... "so lame"

Oh well... everything is worth tryin' once, right?

We had a busy weekend, how about you all?

I really need to plan something, I have nothing to look forward to!! Hmm....don't know...

Hi Gnomies!!

How is everyone??

So I've started thinking about Marc's 30th birthday in April. A lot of the rental halls are starting to fill up so I'm starting to get the ball rolling. Marc is involved, he made it clear he did not want to be surprised. :lmao:

Anyways, we have two themes that are in the lead.

#1. Western Theme. I like this idea because we could do a lot of things but I think it might be too involved and a lot of money spent making the space look decorated.

#2. Wig Party. I found this online on an idea website. Everyone is required to wear a wig to the party. :rotfl2::lmao: Marc likes this idea too. I like this one a little more. I've already been shopping for my wig. :rotfl2:

I came up with this rhyme for the invitation. I think it needs help.

Marc is wigging out for his 30th Birthday.
It's going to be big,
So find yourself a super cool wig.
That's right, I said wig, I am not crazy.
Find the best hair and don't be lazy.
It can be short, long, wavy or straight.
Orange or purple as long as it's great!
We'll have some fun with a wig contest,
Prizes will be awarded to some of the best!
Come to Marc's 30th Birthday Wig Party and don't be lame.
Show up rocking your wig and show no shame!

We are going to have a cash bar at the party, so I can just imagine how much fun all the wigs could be. :rotfl2:

What do you girls think, would you think a wig party would be dumb if you got an invite to one?
