GLOW II: The Bounceback... Multiple Meets!!!.. First 1/2 of Sept 2008

KB, so true, so true. It is so seldom that one gets to meet someone of your innate modesty and talent for self deprecation. :rotfl:

Bonz, I sent you a reply. Please do not worry. I understand where you are coming from. You are trying to take care of your friends. I am the same way. I just want to fix things for everyone. Very frustrating when you cannot. I hope it works out somehow. If I can help, I will.

No worries, we have it all worked out... I HAVE A NEW SISTER JOINING US IN SEPT...

This is true... I can attest to it ;)

I LOVE YOU TOO TANYA//:hug:

Sounds like everything has worked out whilst I was out yonder pulling weeds and sech.

Bonz, I am so glad that you were able to get the help you needed. I am guessing that KB was the solution? That means that it was not a hard thing to do? I have only had to change my ressies once in all these years and do not know the ins and outs as well as the rest of you.

KB, I am cute too but am at my best in the dark, where my looks greatly improve. My mom always told me to take a flashlight when I went out so that I could turn it on and scare the bad folk off. :scared1:

Sweaty SG:scared:

POP- ping in to say HI!!!!!

WooHoo!!! Its almost time to go!!!! Alicia, I can't wait to meet you guys!!! Are you packing yet? I have Daniels bedroom filled up with all our stuff just waiting to go in our bags:banana:

I just found out that my 17 year old grandson has shingles. I wish I could have them for him. School starts tomorrow. Wonder if my magic couch that has healed him all through the years will work this time? :lovestruc

Ugh...I've heard they are really painful?!?!? But I thought only older people got them? Has he ever had the chicken pox? I thought it was the same virus???:confused3
I'm am sure Grandma will make him feel better!

So did I, Diva Kristin.

More older folks do get them (I have been goggling) but certain unnamed teens who only eat chicken fingers and Goldfish crackers and do not sleep can weaken themselves to where the old chickenpox virus comes out of hiding and bites them you know where.

I have taken care of that child since he was born and especially when he is sick. The last time he was 15 and had an infection, high fever and dehydration. His parents let me take care of him because I am crazy. I will sit up all night. I do not have to go to work in the morning and they do. :rotfl: My grandkids think I can work magic. If only.:wizard:

Hmm...I've never had the chicken pox (neither has my brother!) will that make us more or less susceptible for shingles?
Sounds like my 10yo son's diet! :sad2:
I am sure you can work magic! pixiedust:

Linda- Will you be my grandma Pretty Pwease!:lmao:

Im so sorry about your grandson, My father had that a year or so ago and he was in alot of pain. I do hope he gets to feeling better soon.:goodvibes

she had chickenpox when she was 5 or 6 but a REALLY mild case. I think she had like 12 pox. They say (who are THEY?!?!) its possible she had too mild a case to build up immunity and it could bite her in the #!#$ when she gets older :confused3 . Nick, on the other hand, didn't catch it when Katie had it as much as I tried to expose him and has now been vacinated against it. Hope your GS feels better soon!!

Had a TERRIBLE day at work today. So bad that I actually looked forward to leaving early so I could go to the DENTIST:scared1: . Broke my glasses on Sat and am wearing a pair that give me a giant headache. Haven't had time to get the good ones fixed yet, hoping for tomorrow (paging Mr Tom Morrow!!) I so need vacation to hurry up!!!!

I think I picked out tile for the bathroom. I should take a picture and post it here because I need alot of opinions to confuse me!!!

Love you all and 24 1/2 days to go!!!

Gail

My dgs called me last night and told me that he had went to school and when he turned over his meds to the school nurse and told her what he had she did not bat an eyelash so evidently they are not concerned about it being contagious. I think it is only on contact so I told him that his girlfriend could not give him a backrub, not that I think she would. Honestly, I am blessed with a very innocent gs, or he has me fooled.

Pooch, a day has to be very bad to look forward to going to the dentist. Or was it the good drugs you were hoping he would give you?:rotfl2: Are you going to do the tiling yourself? If I can I know you can. I just read up on it and went at it. Did not have any choice though. One thing I learned is to use a few expensive accent tiles with lots of the cheap white ones.

heath-and-javens-mom, could I be your surrogate mom instead as even me, ancient that I am, is not quite old enough to be even your, young as you are, grandmother. I will clear the couch off immediately. Egg custard coming right up.

Kristineamb, check your son for pin feathers. I believe my gs has them as that is all he has eaten his entire life. His younger brother is a gourmand, picky in other ways. There are weeks that I spend more of my food budget on food for them than for us.
