Free Robots and Cookies Gone at Epcot
Epcot has discontinued both the Nestle Jr. Chef Experience in the Land, and Plastic Works in Innoventions East. The Nestle Jr. Chef Experience gave kids the opportunity to make (and eat) chocolate chip cookies. That area of the Land is reportedly being changed into expanded seating for the Sunshine Seasons food court. Plastic Works at Innoventions East looked at the miracle that is plastic. Guests got to design a virtual plastic robot, to run a cyber obstacle race. They then were able to make their own plastic robot from assorted parts provided for free by Disney. Rumor has it that this area will become a new micro-car exhibit – more details to come.

We loved the cookie baking! And to replace it with more seating? That's just wrong.

So awesome was at the glow party last year till the end!!! Anyone want name tags again this year!!!! We are going 9/5-9/14! Anyone need me to bring anything this year!

Been chatting with Slightly Goofy &, since Keli & I will be at PO around the same time, I'm trying to get a few people together to hang out there. SG is making a solo trip so she needs company!!! Hoping for Wed, 9/10 anybody available???

We would love to join you and SG after dinner at BOMA's on the 10th.. Maybe cocktails at POR or POFQ piano bar.. I know one of them has a great piano player..

We'll be at Boma on the 10th, too! Don't know when we'll make it back to the room that night (POFQ), but if you're all still hangin' when I get my kids settled, I will definitely try to stop by and say and .

I am booked into POP Century from 08/30-09/13.

I will be at Epcot on the 3rd and by the pool on the 5th, God willing and the crick don't rise.

Welcome home Timmie!! It sounds as if you guys had a blast and a half. BTW, I stay up late at night if you are ever wanting someone to chat with at that time.

I can only think of one thing at a time and right now I am consumed with getting Tom through his surgery and all. It is really all I can do as I am not doing too well myself. After I get him fixed up I hope to be able to see the doctor myself and get in good enough shape by September to be able to enjoy myself. I love Jellyrolls but the smoke does me in. Might I have a raincheck and see if my agenda will accommodate that? I know all the Jimmy Buffet songs so I am prepared. My grandson has his prom to night and they are going to eat at Cheeseburger in Paradise. Since the kid only eats chicken fingers and has since day one he is going to starve!

You did not get to see Bonz? I swear that lady is most elusive.

You better take care of yourself too. Think of it this way; what would Tom do without your love and care? Your grandkids are so lucky to have you as well. Sadly, my grandmother had no tollerance for us kids. I hope they your family knows just how lucky they are.

I try to be a good egg, even if I am a bit scrambled.

Timmie, I am the oldest of 8 children and most of them have lived with me at one point or another, have two children of my own and a step daughter nearly my age, six grandkids and still really do not have family. I was born to be a trailer mama with all my grands gathered round but no such luck. My grandson who is sitting here right now says that even though I beat him regularly he loves me. The oldest one and his date, his family and hers, all came by and we took loads of pictures. I will try to post a couple. I will adopt you, just cross Ohio and come on over any old time!

Bonz, there is no way that we would avoid you. You are just elusive and hard to find as all special things.

Ang, we are family here. We share a common love of many things and just not Disney. I have to take care of myself since I have no one else to do so. Keeps me on my toes though. Dalton just offered to take care of me if I get sick as long as I am not very sick.

Lease, welcome to our nefarious but nice group. I will be there second week and first week.

I hope I am able to do Jellyrolls as this group needs a designated driver. I have a big trunk, if need be.
