glidden disney paint

we are redoing the kitchen in our home. used to be that our local home depot (perhaps lowes) sold the Disney inspired paint. went in the other day its gone.
I noticed that Walmart now carries glidden . anyone know if its just as good? thanks in advance

We used it on my daughter's room and liked it fine. Painted one wall with the chalkboard paint and that is really cool!

we did chalkboard in both our kitchen and the girls room.. their room has 3 bright pink walls and one purple chalkboard. they love it!! we used behr paint for that.

We used the metallic paint. It requires tons of coats (like 4) because it is very sheer. If you go that route, I highly recommend tinting your primer to reduce how many coats you need.

We'd rather pay more for the good stuff. Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams.

We used it in DH home office. Painted Donald Duck blue. It turned out great. The paint was actually not bad and covered well- did 2 coats. I usually will buy Home Depot's Behr.

It's been many years since I've purchased paint at Walmart, BUT...they used to be the one company that didn't have a computer mix the paint, the people still did it. I tried it twice and it came out NOTHING like the example. I haven't tried to buy paint at walmart since.

If they have the color you want though, you could always take that swatch to a better paint supplier and get it matched.

We purchased this in two different purples from the Fairies collection and really happy with the results.

A person who owns a hardware store told me that just a few companies make all the paint for the different brands. I'm not sure if that's true or not. I've used a ton of different paints. I just painted two external doors red (used gray primer) and they turned out really well with 2 coats of Valspar from Lowes.

My favorite paint ever was a Behr Premium Ultra. I got it as a mismatched color and, luckily, it was the color that I wanted to paint DS's room anyhow. It just about covered in one coat.

As a PP said, if you find a color you like, you could take it somewhere to match it.

It was Home Depot. I just found a pile of paint sample chips in a drawer.
Have not tried Walmart.
I have now switched to all Lowe's Paints after some bad runs with Behr and Behr rep refusing to let Home Depot exchange Glidden when I went to return.
