Let me list the things I bought with me: Vitamin C, Crystal Light Immunity Defense drink mix, Airborne, hand sanitizer, Disinfectant for the room, and Scrubbing bubbles flushable wipes. AND! before I left, I was taking vitamin C, and a multi-vitamin. I have NO IDEA what more I couldve done. Maybe I did TOO much! Even my friend Fee who was with me the first 2 full days, said "What More Could You Have Done"!!!, after I got back and told her I was sick. Oh Well!

OK...You did EVERYTHING you could to stay healthy for this trip! What happened??? I guess if you're gonna get sick, there's not a whole lot you can do to prevent it. But, you tried.

I'm with you. I have never done it and never will. I don't like being on a regular elevator, so why would I go on TOT???

Glenda, I am very impressed that you went on TOT at all, after your last experience. Did you ride EE this trip as well??? Thanks to your Mom, I figure I'm gonna go on it in Nov. If she can do it, so can I!!!

Glad you enjoyed my grimaces! Hope you do something daring too in 2 weeks!!!!

Daring? Hey, I've done it all! I've done R & R, ToT, TT, EE...you name it. Uh oh, I forgot to remember that I haven't done Mission:Space! However, I am so incredibly claustrophobic that I'm sure I would just have to be dead to do that. I've heard the accounts of others who were mildly claustrophobic, and they weren't good. It has nothing to do with the thrill factor of the ride, 'cause I'd be okay with that part. I just couldn't take being in the closed in space. I would have a heart attack, and then that would stop the ride for so many others who planned to ride it, and well, I would hate to ruin their day. I'll do something else, like climb up (or down) Everest, race the gators across Seven Seas Lagoon, or let the rushing waters of the Backlot Tour pour over me...but I just can't do MS.

However, I am glad that you took the opportunity to remind me that I am leaving in TWO WEEKS. I didn't forget to remember that part. That's fairly exciting!

YAY great report! Do you think the guy at Boma was a Disney exec?? The fact that he gave you a special pin and said he'd be back in February makes me think so. How sweet would that be?? Think of all the free Disney stuff he'd give you!

Gmax - It WAS you!!! I think. I read your last TR and enjoyed it so much(your mom is just too cute)! Anyway, we were at the World 9/7-17 and leaving the MK one afternoon (it was either 9/11 or 9/16 - can't remember) I was walking down Main St. when I noticed a LGMH on a backpack, then I noticed the person carrying the backpack and thought..."Gmax????" Well, I kept trying to read the LGMH to see if it said "Gmax", and while the person certainly looked like your picture (sans Seal), I don't think the LGMH said "Gmax" so I didn't say anything. (too shy I guess) So I guess it was you afterall!!! Anyhoo, I'm onboard for another TR, though I do believe I'll be missing your sweet mom this time.

I can't believe you didn't let us see your Beverly face! I think you need a do-over so you can have someone standing by with a camera for that one. After we tasted it ourselves, we just stood around and watched other people for a few minutes. Beverly faces are Disney yearbook classics! Jill wouldn't taste it. She refused. You gotta convince her to do it this time and let me post her face!

I wish I had someone with me! Tell Jill to do her DISduty and taste "Beverly"!

Great trip report, I felt like I had to read it after reading your other one last time .. we liked AKL but felt the food court was a bit "off" for a deluxe resort and sorta basic, but it was definitely a great resort.

Well at least next time I'll know what to expect.

Congrats on doing it this time! The picture is priceless. I didn't go on it in May as my body recently has a tendency to not handle these rides very well. Strange though. I was able to do BTMRR and Rock n Roller Coaster no problem. I even did Storm Runner at Hershey Park a few weeks ago (imagine RnRC, but it shoots you straight out and then straight up before it drops you straight down) and I didn't have any problems with it.

I can not believe you did Storm Runner! If you can do THAT, you can do ANYTHING! Check out the ride videos on youtube. They are a trip!

As for Larry, I would've said more if he did. He didnt have any chit-chat with me outside of the pin. But believe me, if he was like, "so where are you from . . . is this your first time here, etc." I would've said something.

I know, that's what I was thinking about. But I never had a chance for any exta chit chat. He gave me the pin while I was eating, and went back to his table, then he said goodbye on his way out. That was it. So I really would had to have gone out of my way to say more. Which wouldnt have been the right thing to do since he could've been married, or just being friendly. I used to be able to do anything. By the time I was in high school, spinny things were out (too bad since I loved Music Express) and the pirate ships just never really worked for me. I tried Sidewinder (a looping-forward-then-backward-coaster) shortly after Storm Runner and I needed a break for a little while after that. Luckily DB wanted to go on it again (it was only about 15 minutes after general park opening so the lines were almost non-existant) so I got a break while he went back in line.
