Glasgow Airport Hotels - Clubcard Deals

Does anyone know if we can book any of the Glasgow airport hotels with clubcard deals?

Preferably the main Holiday Inn.

Funny thing, I just went to Tesco this morning and picked up one of their rewards booklets to check the same thing. We are also looking at, actually more a case of decided we will, book the main HI at Glasgow airport. They show nothing for Holiday Inn so I guess that group doesn't participate, but I am going to have a nosey online and see if there is an option there. I will let you know if I find anything.

ETA: By the way, the Ramada Jarvis is on there. I do not recommend it.

Nope, definitely not there. They were offering some good deals online if you booked the non-flexible pay upfront rate though. We only go in October so I am holding on to see if they will offer some deals to fill the rooms closer to the time.

I was looking at the same thing and I was disappointed with the lack of options through the tesco deal.

We have stayed at the erskine bridge before and it was a good price with parking and the shuttle bus service was prompt. We are considering staying there again or the normandy which is the sister hotel.

How far is Erskine Bridge from GLA airport? Also, have you stayed at Normandy before and what is it like? What group is it part of?

I have pretty much decided that I will do Holiday Inn simply because I like being able to walk over to the terminal.

I agree about Tesco deals: I have never used them for anything because the choices (esp for Scotland) are almost non-existent.

We have stayed at Erskine bridge though not at the normandy. They are cosmopolitan hotels group. Think it took about 15 mins by mini bus to get to GLA it was a nice basic hotel and we had a nice meal in the restaurant. There is a pool and gym as well and its just been given a 4 start rating. You call the hotel when you land and they send the bus. Car parking was in a field at the front of the hotel and our car was fine. Think the normandy offers a secure parking.
Last deal I found was £69 for a double room and parking for two weeks.

Hmm, I think Holiday Inn may be the better deal for me. I don't have the parking costs to factor in as my parents will take us there. However I will book a room for them too so I can take them to dinner there that night and then they can slip across to visit my sister the next morning when we leave.

I looked at the HI Express earlier but it shows no availability for my date (1st October). Surely it can't be booked up already?! The regular Holiday Inn has rooms available though so I may just go with them. I know the brand so I won't be worrying about what I get.

We also booked the holiday inn at Glasgow we liked it very convenient for airport & pretty good rooms we got the early booking discount think it was £62 per room B&B or £52 without breakfast.We also don't need parking as we are getting a lift.

Sorry I forgot to reply earlier.

We ended up just paying cash for the Holiday Inn. It was £75 through roomsnet, we had about £12 bonus thingy with them so only cost £62 odd.

The last time I went we stayed there the night before. It makes the first day so easy.


It's a pity that we couldn't use clubcard vouchers though as we have had not a bad quarter, about £50 or £200 in deals.
