Glad I booked BCV for next Oct, 4 nights are already "sold out"!

I casually booked at my 11 mos window, knowing we want food and wine again. But I assumed it would stay open till closer to the 7 mos window. I checked tonite, and was shocked 4 nights are blocked already for a studio in mid October! I guess I shouldn't be shocked after being a member there since 2003, but still. Take advantage of your 11 mos out, don't wait!

Not particularly surprised to hear this, but am a bit surprised that even the Pool/Garden category at the BWV has very little availability for October

October is becoming more and more popular and expanding the F&W into most of September doesn't seem to be having much effect as far as "spreading out" the demand for the EPCOT resorts.

I can't imagine many DVC members (who tend to be Disney regulars) thought "wow, the only thing that would make Food and Wine better is attending it in 100-degree heat!"

I'm concerned about my December 2 to 8 BWV studio (boardwalk view) next year the way everything has been selling out and people walking. I'll be on right at 8:00am on January 2.

BWV stand view studio has been unavailable for me often the week prior to Columbus Day @ the 11 month window. Waitlisting didn't always work out. Last few years I've made sure to have enough points on hand to walk it.

I was kind of a terrible BWV owner and forgot to book my standard view studio for mid-October as the 11-month window opened. But so many people had been walking, I picked a few days up within the window and wait listed the earlier nights and ended up with my full seven-night reservation two days later.

I am glad I was able to book F&W time for us right after the DVC Member Cruise.

There was no competition for our BWV Standard view!

As a BWV owner who waited a couple days into 11 month window last year and could only get P/G view studio, even waitlisted BW view and it didn't come through... this year I was ready. I went online first thing at 11 months and grabbed 2 standard view studios for Oct 1-5. I noticed lots of studios were booking up early. SIL planned to book 2 studios at AKV for Oct 5-7 in club level. We had two computers going and ready to submit it right at 8am on the dot but didn't even get 1 of the studios in club level. But we did get an extra night by going standard view, so that's a plus.

This verify for me how lucky we were. We booked at exactly 11 months. Several days later, we decided we wanted to arrive a few days earlier. Now it was 10 months and about 2 1/2 weeks, so I was nervous. But we were fortunate that our added days were available. REAL fortunate from what I hear!
