We are staying at BWV in a 1 bedroom with our three kids. One will be in a crib and the other two will share a bed. I've been thinking lately that it might make more sense to have the kids sleep in the bedroom so either my husband or I can go in and out of the room without disturbing them. Is this a sacrifice you would makes?

Is the pullout sofa at BWV comfortable enough for my husband and I?

My son, DIL and I stayed in a 1 bdrm at AKV and a studio at BWV, both times I slept on the pull out (cause I'm a giving mom) and was fine on it. I'm not sure if it would be wide enough for two adults but it would certainly be easy enough to pull it out and test it. I found at AKV it was more convenient for me to sleep on the couch since I get up earlier and I could get up, make coffee and sit out on the balcony without waking them. I could also go out for my morning walk/jog and come in and out of the room without disturbing them.

Thanks! I know they say it's a queen pullout. Maybe it's smaller then a standard queen? My husband and I are used to a full size bed at home so anything larger then that would be a plus.

When my kids were little we used to bring an air mattress and have them sleep on it in the master bedroom. We put it next to the bed on the opposite side as the bathroom. We still had use of the living room and still got to sleep on the king bed. It worked great until they got too big to fit together on the air mattress!

My parents slept on the pullout in an OKW 1 bedroom and my husband and I took the bedroom (and shared it with our 2 year old son in a pack n play). This was really the most convenient way to sleep. I laid down on the pull out and it was absolutely fine. My parents are pretty picky and they also said it was comfortable. It's not like a normal pull out sofa mattress - it's similar in feel to the day beds in the deluxe resorts, which I have slept on many times.

I gave up my king bed ONCE for my own mother. I would not give it up for my own child. Sorry, it's all mine!

Have them fall asleep in the king bed. Then just move them to the pullout when you want to go to bed. Leave the crib where it is. I would not sleep on the pullout.

I agree! Although we would just still put the kids on the pullout. Ours are 6 and 9 and are always exhausted on our trips. We could have on the lights on and watch tv in the same room and they wouldn't wake once they fell asleep. Maybe put them down, and then hang out in the bedroom or on the balcony.

When my kids were younger we stayed in the family suites often. I didn't like the idea of the kids sleeping in the living room because that is were the external door is, but I didn't want to give up the bed either. We all slept in the same room.
We would put the kids to sleep in the bedroom; one in our bed, one on the fold-out ottoman and one in the pack-n-play (we'll he'd be in the closet/sink area). DH and I would stay up in the living room watching TV, one of us could come and go to the food court, laundry, ect. Then eventually we'd go to bed and move the one kids to an air mattress/sleeping bag. It worked well in the morning too since my kids all "take turns" being early risers. DH or I would get up with the early riser before they woke anyone else up and head to the living room.
