Giving Away a Shift?

How exactly does one go about giving away a shift of theirs on the HUB? If anyone could help me out, that would be great.

Basically, you have to have the HUB ID of the person you're giving the shift to, then you just fill in the appropriate details like the location hours of work and submit it. It goes into the system and within a day or two you'll see if it's approved or denied. The most common reason shifts get denied is that the person taking the shift will be getting overtime or double back so it's best to make sure that is not the case beforehand. I've also been part of instances where managers will make the change at the work location if both cast members are present and bypass the HUB altogether, same for shift exhanges. Hope this helps!

Okay, what if you want to give away a shift but don't have anyone to give it to? Is there a way you can put it on the HUB so that others can view it and then possibly pick it up?

yes, well there is if you aren't in entertainment in entertainment we just put it in a book in the base but for all others you go to the hub and go under the Work tab, under there the 3 boxes on the top of th page say My schedule, something and EHH under the box that says My Schedule (which is red) there is a link that says Exchange shift.

next page you click Psrt Shift
Then you click agree on the next page.
then you fill out all the info and post the shift and hope for the best!

like I said we don't do it this way in entertainment but I just went threw the septs on the Hub to make sure they are right and they are
