give me your opinions please

I have been assigned the planning duties again. We have 6 going (4 adults 1 6 yo and 1 18mo) in oct. we are going on the dining plan but however after the "free" dining plan expires. Will we be able to get into ts rests. right after they open for dinner without ps? Give me your opinion. I am definitely going to make ps for our character meals but am unsure about the others. Help.

Restaurants have been filling up more quickly thanks to the new MYW dining plan, as well as both Florida residents and Annual Pass holders taking advantage of the Disney Dining Card discounts. I would definitely make PS for any restaurant you may be interested in at any of the parks. Some of the ones in the resorts that have been filling up quickly include California Grill, 'Ohana, Narcoossee's, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Cape May Cafe, Flying Fish, Boma, Artists Point, Whispering Canyon and Jiko. Even the lesser know restaurants have been known to fill to capacity on weekends. Definitely make your PS!!!

There is no harm in making the ps for the majority of restaurants, so why not.... you can always attempt to change them are time goes on but at least you will have something.....

Last week I saw many people being turned away because the restaurants were filled. As another poster said....make your advanced dining reservations and if need be you can cancel or change some later on. This is especially true for a party of six. Not likely you can walk up and get a table for that size easily.
