Ugh, today is one of our co-op student's 2nd tlast day at work, and there are soooo many treats right on the windowsill, which is an arms-lengths away from my desk!!! Tonight is my weigh-in, and I am pushing to get my 25 pound star, and I usually never eat on weigh-in days anyways (until AFTER I get off the scale). Pixie dust to make the treats go away!!!!
 
Oh sweetie! Did you have any advance notice that these treats were going to be at work today? You need to keep some legal treats at work so you won't be left out of the celebration.

PD that you do not succumb to temptation. I hope you do well at weigh in tonight :)
 
Stay strong, BabyTigger! You haven't lost almost 25 pounds without resisting tempation, so you ARE strong and determined! You can do this!

Could the treats be moved to another place in the office? I find that staying as far away from them as possible helps me to resist. Also, if I have something I can put in my mouth, even if it is only water, that helps.

As a last resort, how about walking by the windowsill and "accidently" knocking all the treats to the floor. ;) Just kidding, that might get you in trouble with all your co-workers!

You are really close to a clippie change? Then you've GOT to resist those goodies (they aren't that good after all!) Drink some water, get up and move around, and resist, resist, resist. Heck, I know you can do it and at the end of the day you'll be SOOO proud of yourself!

Hey...I thought I was the only "evil doer" here!!! LOL...good advice though...if you can't have em...ain't no one gonna have em!!! LOL

Bwwwaaaa Haaa Haaaa. I look at it this way, Tracy. It's really for their own good, isn't it? After all, nobody needs all those extra goodie calories. ;)

I too keep tons of healthy - low point options in a drawer at work. This way I always have something healthy to eat. Keep something posted in front of you that will keep you thinking about what you are working for. Last year when I lost 37 pounds, I had a thermometer that I filled in each pound I lost. Once you get up to "25", and you look at all the red you filled in.......it really keeps you on track and able to say NO to those goodies. I also bring in some entemans light, or something that I can have on my program. This way I have something yummy to eat too!

I did it!! I did it!! I resisted the temptation, and the scale showed a loss of 1.6 pounds for a grand total of ...... 25.8 pounds since May 1st!!! And I must say, I couldn't have done it without being able to come here and check in with everyone. Even though I don't post a whole lot, I still keep lurking around!!

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR NEW CLIPPIE!!! You are just melting away. That is quite a successful loss for what seems like a short time (to me anyway!) :) GOOD FOR YOU! I bet you feel GREAT for resisting that temptation, and you had an excellent WI to keep you motivated through the weekend! WOO-HOO!!! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
