Hi Amy! I just wanted to pop in again and say howdy! You are going to have a great time on your Mom's trip for sure, and I have to say I really enjoyed looking at your Epcot pics, it is one of my favorite parks, frankly, and I have yet to really see everything there is to see at the WS! Your holidays sound as busy as ours - looks like you got some great DIS meets set up!!!
OH! We got Epic Mickey, and Tron for Christmas this year (my DBIL bought them for DS8) They are neat games, I agree! Different, but I would rather he see and play those than some of the others out there.

Today was a day to celebrate 20 days until the Spectrum Moms' trip!! So I met up with Heidi (MRYPPNS)... who somehow managed to un-subscribe from this PTR for a little while...

We met up at our nearest Disney store, which happens to be about half-way between our two towns.

Here are the pictures I posted on the Spectrum Moms' report in honor of 20 days:

This DIS meet was fun!

Zach is obsessed with the color red, but unfortunately I could't get his size in the red. I got Alex the red (explaining to Zach that the shirt will eventually become his ) and went with the coordinating shirt in black for Zach (which they didn't have in Alex's size).

Happy New Year! I’m so excited to have two trips coming up so soon!!

I’ve covered our travel plans, accommodations, park goals and shared a look back at our past trips. What’s left? Touring plans? To do lists?

Here’s what I have on my to-do list for the next few weeks. I hope to get these things done before the Spectrum Moms’ Trip:

• Work on the boys’ “rules”/Self Help cards (may not need any changes)
• Organize trading pins
• Find the ponchos we bought on previous trips
• Get ink for printer
• Start working on kids ID cards
• Start working on new DIS tag?
• Go through the spring clothes & see what’s needed
• Send in Diamond Lane request to Sheraton
• Organize Photopass group - in the works
• Trip to Disney store for shirts - DONE

I know I already posted our park goals but I have also written loose touring plans.

Here is our first day (Sunday 2/27):

• Leave Jeff & Karen’s & drive to Orlando first thing – check-in at Vistana
• Get groceries at some point
• Go to condo if it’s ready or head to Animal Kingdom right away
• Ride favorites – kids’ choices (EE, Dinosaur, one walking trail)
• Return to Vistana if not already in room
• 5:45 ADR at Chef Mickey’s
• Back to condo to get settled
• Pack bags for next morning
• Get a good night’s rest

Visiting a park on our arrival day is a first for us, so we'll see how it goes and hope it's not too much! We can always skip it and see AK another day if we get a late start!

Heidi & I had a fun visit yesterday! It's hard to believe the next time I'm driving up that highway it will be to go to the airport!

Oops... I hate when that happens!

I'm a bit confused by the weather... we usually travel in late April/early May and it's always hot. I'm not going to think about it too much until after my January trip... for which I'm packing a little bit of everything (but no shorts). I'm hoping it will be warm enough for the boys to wear shorts & t-shirts with a sweatshirt for morning/evening. I'm planning for capris.

It looks like the average temps are highs in the mid-70s & lows in the low 50s. I guess we'll need some pants too! I always overpack even though we have a washer & dryer in our condo... My plan is to pack for just 4 days and wash clothes as we go... but that could be hard if we need a little of everything!

We're visiting a park on our departure day, which will also be a first for us, so I'm crossing my fingers that I'm not pushing it too much!

Monday 2/28 will be our first full park day. We're heading to Epcot!! We aren't staying for evening entertainment and have an early morning the next day so we'll just stay as long as we feel like it & head back to the resort when we're ready.

Here are our plans:

• Park opens 9am - arrive by 8:45
• Soarin’
• The Seas (Nemo)
• 10:00 snack (Going to build snacks into our plans so we don’t forget & get grumpy)
• Grab FP for KP Mission
• Check out Innoventions? (now or later depending on time)
• Le Cellier at 11:30 or Teppan Edo at noon (most likely TE)
• Tour countries between Japan & Mexico
• KP Mission
• Afternoon snack
• Head back to Future World
• Test Track
• Mission Space??? (never done)
• Innoventions? (if we didn't get there earlier)
• SSE
