We had a great Christmas!! Hope you all did too!! We are hunkering down for a big snow storm - 18 inches of snow, blizzard warnings... fun stuff! I got some Mickey earrings from Santa, a Disney gift card from one of my bookkeeping clients, a Disney gift card from Laura & the kids got trading pins from Santa & new Guide to the Magic books from us. We also got Epic Mickey for Wii from Santa that Tim & Zach are playing right now!

Now that the holidays are over I'm switching over into full Disney planning mode!!

They only played it once & it seemed hard! The story is interesting though. It's pretty dark - both the theme & the graphics. One of the opening scenes has a bad guy (mad scientist type) trying to use a plunger to pull out Mickey's heart! The dark graphics make it hard to see where you are supposed to go - maybe that will change as we move on to different levels??

Woo Hoo!! It's just around the corner! I'm a bit overwhelmed with the Spectrum Moms trip in one month then the family trip in two! Luckily the Mom only trip doesn't require too much planning!

They'll be in MK on the 1st, as will we, and micandminforever and family, so if this day works for you, we could go ahead and pencil in a Small World ride. Just let us know, since you said your schedule is not set yet.

We'll be at Epcot on the afternoon of the 3rd too! I have a reservation for Via Napoli at 6:20 then sticking around for Illuminations. Let's try and meet up somewhere in World Showcase that evening!

We got that same snowstorm and finally today New York City is digging itself out. It's supposed to be 40 this weekend though!

Luckily ours wasn't as bad as predicted & everything was back to normal the next day. NYC looks like it's a mess! I've seen lots of news coverage about the lack of plowing in parts of the city. Crazy!! Looking foward to nice weather this weekend so our nephew can fly in from Florida on Monday.

There are a ton of DISers there that week!! I'm so excited too - I've never had a real DISmeet before! I think I'm going to have a bunch of them this trip!

That's great that you were able to get a pre-park opening ADR this close to the trip! That's probably ideal for you with a little one who probably wakes up early. Your meal won't cut into park time - and you can make it to IASW for the big DISmeet after!

Hi Amy! I just wanted to pop in again and say howdy! You are going to have a great time on your Mom's trip for sure, and I have to say I really enjoyed looking at your Epcot pics, it is one of my favorite parks, frankly, and I have yet to really see everything there is to see at the WS! Your holidays sound as busy as ours - looks like you got some great DIS meets set up!!!
OH! We got Epic Mickey, and Tron for Christmas this year (my DBIL bought them for DS8) They are neat games, I agree! Different, but I would rather he see and play those than some of the others out there.
