My mom is gone now and I miss her daily. One of the best things she did for me was encourage me to do whatever I wanted to do. I have health issues and she never held me back. That must have been hard to do as a parent.
I remember always wanting to fix her hair for her. I am not a hair stylist by any means but I loved to dry and curl her hair. I wasn't the best but she always let me.
To this day I can't channel surf past QVC. My mom loved that channel and was totally addicted to it.
The last is when I was 10 or so I had a morning paper route. She got up every morning and drove me around. At one point I couldn't do my route for a couple days so my mom did it for me. Well she was pulled over and questioned by the police because someone reported her for looking suspicious and thought she was casing houses. I think that was the last day she did my route for me. lol
