I found teal!! And it's cheap! The only thing is it's from a plus size store (the smallest size is 14) so it won't help anyone else but me. And I don't even really need teal since I am leaving that morning. Dang it, why couldn't it have been lime green?! Ugh.

Thanks for the link Beth! I thought I was the only one having shirt stress... Glad to see others are in the same boat! I've been searching Old Navy, Lands End, Walmart, all with no luck! Either the teal isn't in plus sizes, or it's only in a lovely turtleneck. Just what I want for Disneyland...

First sign of sore throat/beginning a cold, I get a new brush or at least pull out the UV light for a few cycles. I use the pricey rechargeable ultrasonic toothbrush, replacement heads are very pricey but ohhh so worth it! I can't stand a regular old cheapo toothbrush now.

I soak the head in Listerine if it's too soon to change it when I get a cold. I use a Sonicare too.

This day/time next month, the scavenger hunt teams will be down to an hour and a half left to finish their packets and will be rushing around trying to get it all done! I'll be sitting on a bench somewhere, nice and relaxed, sipping something cold (or hot if it's chilly out) and cheering you on!

Yay me!

And my team will not be RUSHING. We may be meandering a wee bit quicker, but NOT rushing. LOL

Beth, Like Bernice said, you need to give Macy's a chance. Especially now! I was in there yesterday, and they had a ton of stuff marked down dramatically! Like 70% off! I mean racks of clothing! Unfortunately I didn't have time to look, as I was just returning something, and was not feeling too well. But I plan on going back!

All this talk about next years race is bittersweet. My DD Becky was finally going to sign up! But now she can not, as she just announced that she will be having a BABY around then.

Yup..i'm going to be a grandma again. My sixth one! I am blessed!

But she is still hoping to do the Tinkerbell race next year! Yay!

Went iceskating with my car this morning on a steep hill on my way to the hospital. My foot was on the break, but apparently slope + ice + gravity = sliding, breaks or no breaks. Finally got the car to stop sliding by miraculously getting the car to turn and slide into someone's driveway, but as soon as I would try to move the car, it would start sliding again. Lots of fun!

I think I'll take a different route to the hospital tomorrow. Yes, I'm a fast learner.

Congrats Mel!! How exciting! Capri glad you didn't have an accident. When I lived in Seattle it seemed almost every year they would show video from Queen Anne or one of the other areas with hills and the cars looked like matchbox cars. It was pretty bad.

Good morning, ladies!! Happy Thursday!

I am part of the ant-lime green club too. I found a shirt at old navy last year and am bringing that for this year. I think the color looks awful on me. Time to start hitting the tanning bed to improve the skin reflection of the green.

Okay, I am going to play momma bear for a minute here. Please be careful with those tanning beds. I was addicted to tanning in high school. I went almost daily for over a year, and was so dark! This of course was back when I had the bod to wear a bikini, so I loved it.
Now, I wish someone had stopped me. I did so much damage to my skin. And I worry constantly about skin cancer. I just know it's going to come back to haunt me. In fact, I have a new spot on my face that is suspicious and needs checking.

Anyway, trying to look out for you. Maybe try a spray tan or something. Okay, I'll hush up now.
