Hi guys: I would be up for an alternative breakfast on Sunday since I have already done Surf's Up a couple of times.

La Brea IS good; my only concern is weather since I believe all of their seating is outside. Even for the sit-down be served portion.

Someone mentioned Steakhouse 55----this is also very good and inside--next to Goofy's Kitchen. And the prices I thought were very reasonable. Here is the menu (current as of March 2011)

I've done Surf's Up twice. Well, once when it was still Lilo and Stitch, and once when it was Surf's Up. In fact, it's the only character breakfast I have done.

I've never been to La Brea, so I didn't realize the seating is outdoors regardless. I probably personally wouldn't want to take a chance on the morning weather in February being all that warm. It could be, but it could also end up raining.

Steakhouse sounds good also. I'd be all over that breakfast burrito. (drool...

)

Angie, Daisy, and I had gone for brekkie there two trips ago and it was fine - mind you, Angie and I are from Canada, so maybe we can handle it a bit better

I really do not want to do the character breakfast and there are a few of us that would like to do the WOC seating with a meal at WCT. I threw it out there for any others that might want to join us for that. If it is a problem, I will just keep it on my schedule. Not really sure what time yet. I figured it would depend on who was going and what time worked and was available.

I wouldn't mind going to WCT for WOC, depending on the time.

I'd also be happy to switch out Surf's Up. I've never been to Steakhouse 55, and it sounds great, so if a group ends up there, I'd switch.

Ok, I am jumping on the bandwagon.

Surf's Up is good, but pricy and I have had breakfast there three times.
Have had SH55 twice and it's a bargain by Disney standards. And the restaurant itself is classy.

I would be willing to try La Brea. Those last three items on the menu sound divine! And when the time comes if it is too cold or looks like rain, we can opt for somewhere else, or just crash on the SH55 group.

We are keeping Beth on her toes by constantly changing things up.

Katie, my house suffered the wrath of horrid winds as well. Two broken pots and soil all over my patio. And the furniture cushions toppled over. My watering can blew to the fence. Poor Laila's sandbox. How generous of you to share with the neighbors like that. It has calmed down a bit, but tonight it is freezing cold here. Burrrr!

Laurie I am SO happy you all are able to go. As of now we are still on but with everything so up in the air and the fact that the girls will be with me no matter what and possibly the ex I am not signing up for anything but the scavy hunt. But what I was going to say is IF Tyler wants someone to hang with for some of the time he is more than welcome to hang with us/Shane and the girls. We are not doing any of the group meals cuz we are going to have the girls with us but I am hoping to meet up with people in between the group activities to say hi and possibly ride some rides or whatever.

Any word on the Disney Warehouse? I REALLY wanted to do that but we don't get back from the cruise till 8 something Friday morning and then we have to get there from Long Beach and I am not sure at this point if we are going to take a cab or rent a car. But I don't know if we would make it if it is early on Fri.

Plus Shane is not supposed to fly in to LAX till I think 10 something so by the time he takes the shuttle and checks in at the hotel it could be close to noon. So we are going to have the girls till he gets there.

Hopefully it will all work out and I hope to be able to hang with some of you during the "down" times.

And for the Diva's with wind damage - hope clean goes well! We were lucky that no trees fell. I went to SF last night for a play and it was the most beautiful clear night I have seen in a long time. The wind just blew everything away and luckily died down before I had to drive up. It was just postcard gorgeous!

Linda & Bridget~ Happy to hear you both survived the winds of 2011 . My area is still a BIG mess and we finally got our power back on at around 1:20 this morning . We ended up going out to eat and to the movies last night since there wasn't much we could do around the house. But tonight I will be cleaning out my refrigerator since I'm sure a lot of the stuff has gone bad .

Devin his his Semi-final playoff game tonight, but I'm not going (Bad Mom Award). I really don't feel like driving all the way to Murrieta.
