It's overcast again today in Seattle, supposed to have a high of about 65. Rain forecast for the weekend.

I think our (3 - 4 week long) summer is over.

Odd Trivia of the Day:
Did you know the Pacific Northwest has more sunglasses sold than anywhere else in the country?
WHY, you may ask? Well, because we can never find the dang things when we need them, it's been so long! I've squinted through the last 3 weeks looking for them; I suppose I'll find them now that the sun is gone, or else have to go buy another pair.

(Shhhh, I'll need them in early October!)

Hope you're all having a great day. I'm off to the gym to work out; I fell off the wagon this summer, but am determined to get back on schedule!

Yup, I'm just outside of Seattle. I love BC, though I've only ever been to Vancouver and Victoria. A few tea shops have opened up around here in the past several years, and every time I go it reminds me of Victoria.

I've been so busy since I got back from Disneyland and with another trip coming up soon I am trying to get my Trip Report done in record time. For those who are interested I already have 3 updates up. It's weird for me to be writing a TR when I barely have any photos to share. I have them, but they are super secret Scavvy Hunt secret photos ;-)

Hi everyone! Not much going on here, which is probably a GOOD THING. LOL

Planning for pasta for dinner tonight since DH might be going to dinner with a client, meaning I can have something he doesn't like. LOL

I have to go grocery shopping today and, unfortunately, I need to go to MegaWally. Bleh.

Good news is that the dress I had thought of wearing to my reunion next Saturday *does* fit, so I ordered a pair of shoes yesterday, since I don't have any "nice" shoes in Navy any more. Hope they get here in time! Loads of excitement around here, huh?

Is it your high school reunion? I had so much fun at mine.
I really envy you people who can order shoes online. How in the world do you know they will fit and feel good? I have to try on dozens in my size before I find something comfortable.

My (gulp) 30 year. Yes. LOL

I order shoes from shoebuy dot com. THey have free shipping both ways and easy returns. I am also ordering a brand of shoe that I have other styles in, so that helps. I have a horrible time finding shoes that fit - I wear a 9N usually - and I've had really good luck getting shoes from shoebuy. The ones I ordered yesterday are a basic low heel pump made by Hush Puppies.
