Instead of work today I went with my cousin for her state board exam (cosmetology) as her hodel. Fun times - if by fun you mean the most boring few hours ever. But she passed and just seeing the excitement on her face was totally worth it! Especially since she was freaking out about it all!

Random question since it's still on my mind, who else is planning to do the Tinkerbell 1/2 or that 5K run?

I'm signed up for the Half. I think my mom and I are staying at BW Stovalls on Katella. I'd love to stay at PPH again but with the Diva trip just a month after we don't want to spend that much on the hotel, plus we are only staying Saturday night; I have to work on Monday after the race.

I had a swell day yesterday at the mini meet. Laila was a little out of sorts yesterday. She was being very quite and shy. When we got in the car to leave, I asked her why she was being so quite?? She replied "Um, I don't know? I think I don't feel good, but maybe I'm just tired. Yes, I'm sleepy, can we go home and watch Bambi?" I swear she is beyond her years sometimes.

Aw, that's just precious. I love it.

I've already run and unloaded the dishwasher and the second load of laundry for the day is in the wash. Whee. What a fabulously EXCITING life it is here! *snort*

Except that it's my Sunday, lol. Going to clean out my mom's car again and hopefully work on my TR so I wont fall behind when I leave again in a few weeks.

I'm signed up for the Half. I think my mom and I are staying at BW Stovalls on Katella. I'd love to stay at PPH again but with the Diva trip just a month after we don't want to spend that much on the hotel, plus we are only staying Saturday night; I have to work on Monday after the race.

Do they usually have good rates there? I'm debating where to stay this time around. It's tricky because I have so much family going and I think some of them are looking into staying on-site but with my friends signing up I'll probably room with them. Staying on Katella would probably be a better idea than on harbor, huh?

I'm torn right now though. It's too late for my cousin to sign up for the Half (she does want to come to cheer me on though) but she can still register for the 5K and I want to do it with her but the higher price that includes the twilight ticket is turning me off right now. I want to do it, but I don't. Grr.

They have a 30 Day Advance Purchase rate of $92.25 for 2 Queens and you get a Complimentary Continental Breakfast.

Since the finish for the Tink 1/2 is in the lot behind PPH I think this hotel will be the closest.

It starts on Disneyland Drive right in front of PPH. We will be running north, going past the Grand on the right and the Mickey and Friends parking structure on the left.

Anyway, we woke up to rain this morning which is definitely setting the Fall mood! I know it won't last long though. The sun will come back out and the temps will rise once more before Fall actually settles in. Sometime around the end of October is when it seems like the weather actually cools down for good.
But for now, I am loving it!
