My name is Michelle, and after a 3-year absence, I am venturing back into the World of Disney (and the DIS.) I've saved up enough money to take the kids to DL again, and I think make the DIVA trip as well. I am so excited!

I hope this is OK to post here since I am NOT soliciting or collecting money, just seeing if there is enough interest to pull this off..... Would anyone here be interested in a Diva Hat?

It's a "runner's hat" - my friend wears this style cap when he runs marathons - it's light and breathable. I would have to order 24 of them to make this happen. They would be around ten bucks each. Sorry the stupid website takes so long to load and the mock up is so cheezy. The cap is white nylon with grey mesh on the sides. The design would be embroidered and might not be super neon, but would be green and pink. the strap in the back has reflective stuff on it so you can be seen from behind if you are running in the dark. It's a nice hat. It's hand washable. I have a blank one I wore to DL on the 24th.

PM me if you might be interested. If we get enough interest, I will move forward with exact pricing info.

So here is MY FUN for today..... DH didn't get a paycheck this week. Seems that the payroll gal at the home office in So Cal wasn't informed that he didn't get fired on the 24th. So, even though the owner of the company signed and submitted his timecard, it didn't get processed because she had purged DH from the employee files. So, they are fed-exing a check that is SUPPOSED to arrive tomorrow. We were planning on spending tomorrow with Trish and her son. Now we have to wait for Fed X and HOPE that the people who were intelligent enough to not issue a check actually checked the "Saturday Delivery" box, otherwise we won't get the check til Tuesday, a day AFTER the mortgage comes out of the checking account. Which would be a bad, BAD thing. UGH. Calgon, take me away!

Back to your Tiki Room music and regularly scheduled happy programming..... LOL

I finally went to see "The Help" tonight. Ruben and I had an old Fandango code from Living Social that was going to expire, so we had to pick something and it was either that or "Shark Night".
I'm fairly certain we made the right choice. I loved it!! Really good movie.



Lisa, I'm sorry your DH is dealing with those paycheck issues. I feel your pain. Hopefully it shows up in time!

Happy Labor Day Weekend Divas!!!

Hope everyone has fun plans!! I'm surprising Mike tonight at karoake with a little 50th birthday party.....bring on the black balloons!!!! His birthday is on Tuesday, so he won't be expecting anything (since we're low on funds).....so it will be fun catching him with his guard down!!!

Watching the Oregon Ducks game & BBQ'ing burgers & dogs before going out. Tomorrow Mike's off but no plans & then Monday he works, so no plans again. Should be somewhat quiet.

Kids start back to school on Wednesday & I can't wait!!!!

For our running Divas & Scavy Hunt Divas.....enjoy Disneyland for those of us at home!!!

Had a blast last night for Mike's party.....ended up just being the normal group for karaoke.....but we made the most of it. Mike was surprised & got a kick out of his gag gift bag: Huge comb, huge toothbrush, huge calculator, reaching device, huge medical alert whistle, decision dice & prune juice..... Good thing he has a year to forget all of that before my 50th.......lol

Just back from an absolutely fabulous 6 day trip to Vegas. Highlights were Barry Manilow, Absinthe, spa day and plenty of pool time, and fabulous steak/lobster dinner at Bally's Steakhouse. Honestly, nothing could have been better. We even won a bit. What a great way to celebrate 10 years of marriage!

Congratulations to all of our runners. Sounds like a great time, and I enjoyed seeing your pictures on facebook Jaz!
I am tempted by the Halloween exchange and will think about it for a day or two. Lots to take care of the next couple of weeks, so I may not add to my plate.

Well, off to clean house because darling dog and teenager have this place looking and smelling like a frat house.

Hello ladies!! Sunday already?? This weekend is flying by.

Right now I have the house to myself. Ruben took all the girls to see a show down on the Strip. (Greogory Popovich. It's an animal show for kids) Adam and his friends went to a pizza buffet to gorge themselves on pizza and cinnamon rolls. So it's just me!
Earlier we watched Disney's "Prom" which was really, really cute. A very Disneyfied version of prom, of course, but cute none the less.

Sounds like a wonderful trip! Did you book Absinthe ahead of time or find a deal, what kind of seating is it? Which day spa did you go to? We're heading to Vegas in 22 days
