I asked on Facebook if there was still interest in doing a Halloween exchange this year.

Just wanted to make sure since the summer one sort of fizzled out. There seemed to be enough interested in playing along, so I'm going to be starting sign-ups next week!
Typically after Labor Day is when you start to see the first real signs of Halloween items in the store. (Although in my grocery store, they've already got the bags of Halloween candy out!)

Sign-ups will begin on September 5th and run through September 12, at which point I will send out the names. I will post an update on Facebook once those get going. The mail by date will be September 28, which gives each person about two and a half weeks to shop for, package up, and mail their exchange out.

As before, this exchange is open to kids and adults alike. The Christmas stocking one will be adults only, so if you want to get your kiddos involved, now is the time to do it. And Katie, Heather and Deb, can I just say I'd love it if you three signed up those precious babes of yours. I know more than a few Divas who'd love the chance to shop for baby items again!! LOL

Hope we get lots of ladies to join in!

My name is Michelle, and after a 3-year absence, I am venturing back into the World of Disney (and the DIS.) I've saved up enough money to take the kids to DL again, and I think make the DIVA trip as well. I am so excited!

I am reading through the thread as fast as I can, trying to figure out what I need to do to prepare and then just try to keep up with you all!

Please pencil me in for dates Thurs. - Sun.; that is what I'll shoot for, but will let you know if the dates change.

Oh, almost forgot. I wanted to wish all of our Divas running at DL this weekend, good luck!!! I am so proud of you all for getting out there and doing this. You inspire me.


Also good luck to our scavenger hunt team, Melody, Trudi, Katie, Bridget, Jess, and Wendy, as they meet to plot and plan our next truly awesome hunt. I know you will do an incredible job, as always.

And to anyone else meeting up with the group, Cheryl, Linda, Chris, Jill, have fun and say hello to everyone for me!!

The 5K is a test to see how much my heel has healed up in preparation for the Nike 1/2 Marathon - hopefully it will be fine!

And we will be plotting some great things for the Scavy Hunt!

Hi Michelle- Welcome to the Divas, it's my first year going too and I am super excited. It's a great group of ladies and it's been fun getting to know them so far. Glad to see someone else from Washington state, what city do you live in?

Jessica- I am having fun following along with your DL travels on Facebook, keep the posts coming and good luck in the race tomorrow.

To all the scavenger hunt ladies I hope you have a blast putting the hunt together and have some good times together.

I know so many people at DL right now, it's killing me, I really wish I was there, but everyday we are getting a little bit closer to February!!!

WOW, thank you all for the warm welcome!

I nearly went to one of the first DIVA trips (though I don't think it was called that yet.) Got the chocolate shirt and everything, but it didn't pan out, I was so bummed!

Tinkermell, eatmypixiedust and MotoXPrincess and I used to chat on the DIS and even met up a few times at DL. It's great fun to put names and faces (and voices) to the DIS names, so I have no doubt the meet will be fun!
