Hello ladies!!

So, here we are in our new home. I call the recliner and get first dibs on the remote!!

Did I mention that yesterday I ran into Dollar Tree for some gift bags, and they were actually in the process of taking down their Hawaiian luau decorations and putting up Halloween and Thanksgiving!
I do believe that is the earliest I have ever seen it done. LOL

Welcome Kandace! You're from Auburn? I am from Blaine/Bellingham area! Glad to see another Washingtonian in the group!

How many ladies does that make now from WA? 5? 6? 7?
That's great! Maybe some of you will be traveling to the trip together next February.

Anyway Beth I hope your girls have a BLAST at their party this weekend. Sounds like you have lots of fun stuff planned for them.


I saw some pics on FB of the two new restaurants and they look great! I have always said that DCA and DL in general didn't always have the best food options and I really like these new choices that they have made!

I am eager to try those new restaurants. I think it's a perfect addition to our trip schedule and will be a fun place for our first day lunch.

This is such a great weekend for birthdays! I have 6 friends with bdays today and 7 (plus myself) with birthdays tomorrow. I hope everyone has a great time! I want to go to Red Robin....their fries are amazing!

I had to stop by to see the new "home sweet home." Not bad...wherever the Diva's go, the fun shall follow. Hope you all are doing well...I don't make it to the boards often anymore but still love being able to keep in touch on FB with many of you.

I just got home and read an amazing email from my DH. It said..

Merry Christmas Sweetie and had an itinerary for the 5 of us to be in Disneyland Dec 1-5 Dec 2 is DS's 7th birthday too! I can't wait!

Well, I guess I will just have to console myself with Napa Rose's chef's counter tonight! I'm meeting some friends from another site there--one of my friends just went to France where she had bluefoot chicken. So she is anxious to tell Chef Sutton about it (it was on the menu at Napa a year or so ago and she had it and wasn't thrilled with it--and he said he wasn't re-ordering it because they weren't impressed with it either. But this was FRENCH bluefoot chicken and it was better, but not life-changing. More than you wanted to know about bluefoot chicken, huh?)

It's funny but I don't pay any attention to where the thread is because I just get it from my subscriptions. I hardly ever even look at the Disneyland board.

We are going on our annual trip to Grayland beach. Very excited, as we love the ocean even if it is usually cold and rainy most of the time. We just drive out on the beach, set up camp and fly kites, search for shells, jump in the waves etc. The day goes by so fast and is so relaxing! I'm sure you all will go through 20 pages before I return...sigh....


Is anyone else going to be in the parks July 23rd to July 26th? I know Jen will be there, and am hoping to get to meet up with her, but anyone else?
