I know. Last year was actually the first M&G we were able to attend. It's hard for my mom to take time off and I won't be able to take the days off this time either. At least we'll be there for the weekend.

Can someone fill me up a bag of goodies at the M&G? I'll send some candy. Thanks!

I can do it......I think what I'll do is try to make a list of those not able to attend the Meet-n-Greet (when we get closer to the trip) & put together little goody bags for each of you......since I'm in charge of collecting the snacks & the table & the bags.....it would probably be easiest for me to do that......also my pleasure!!

I just went for another long walk today with my friend! We kicked butt despite someone (not me) having a not-fun sunburn on her legs to start. We even shaved 2 min. off our average speed from Tuesday. Go us! Tommorrow is my last run for the week.

I feel like wonder woman! I cleaned out an old built in pond/fountain in my backyard and made it work. Now to rest and relax until my bday celebrations begin tomorrow night!

I am sooooo tired. Lots of running around and errands tonight. Whew. But I think I have everything set for the twin's birthday weekend tomorrow.

Ruben's taking them to the movies in the morning, then we'll all have lunch, followed by cake and presents. Then tomorrow night we're taking them to Excalibur to see the Tournament of Kings (think Medieval Times).
Sunday we are going to the park in Town Square, where we'll hang out, play, get pizza, and frozen yogurt. And Sunday night they want to go to Red Robin for dinner, so Red Robin it is!

Should be fun. I know they are excited about it.

But for now, I am exhausted! Nighty-night!

That is fantastic! I am so excited for you! We've gone during the holidays but it is always over new years and that is just chaotic. The 1st through 5th sounds perfect!

Morning all!

Another early morning here. We LOVE swim team but I have to admit this year I can't WAIT for it to be over LOL. We are off here in a few to another meet and next weekend is our last one of the year. We are skipping champs this year in lieu of our trip and there is no love lost there. Champs is a 2 days LONG event that this year is in Woodland and a lot of people are having to get rooms because that is just a little too far to have to drive to both days. You pretty much have to be there at 5 every day and stay till 8 each night and it is brutal. Super hot and long tiring days. Last year I almsot got heat stroke. So I am not going to miss it this year!!

Anyway Beth I hope your girls have a BLAST at their party this weekend. Sounds like you have lots of fun stuff planned for them.

Jen have fun at your b-day celebration!!

Angie that is so exciting about your surprise trip! We went the week before xmas last year and although we had fun we had nasty weather so hopefully you will have GREAT weather and low crowds and have a GREAT time!! That is always a fun time of year to go!

And I know there were some other gals with birthdays this weekend so hope you all have fun as well!

I saw some pics on FB of the two new restaurants and they look great! I have always said that DCA and DL in general didn't always have the best food options and I really like these new choices that they have made! Quite and improvement! Although I have to admit I do miss Hooks but so far I do like Tangaroa Terrace and am looking forward to trying Trader Sams!

The food looks great though at the pizza and pasta place as well as the other and it looks really cute plus they have a little beer stand with the cream cheese pretzels! YUM!

I know that going to the DL Community forum will seem like the kiss of death to the thread at first, but I actually think your thread will not only draw more folks over to this section in general but you will also probably pick up some new Divas. I know I've seen people over in the DL Community forum who do not regularly post on the main forum.

I've left a redirect on the main forum with a good, long expiration date - so any existing Divas who don't know about the move will be able to find you.

This is such a great weekend for birthdays! I have 6 friends with bdays today and 7 (plus myself) with birthdays tomorrow. I hope everyone has a great time! I want to go to Red Robin....their fries are amazing!
