I felt a little like Dory today. I had to keep reminding myself to "just keep running, just keep running, just keep running, running, running ..." I cannot beleive I'm on week #4 of my training already. Ugh.

I don't have an AP right now either and don't plan on getting one till right before the trip so can't even use my AP discount.

Kelly - you can book a room at the AP rate even if you don't have your AP yet. You will just have to show it to them at some point before checkout. I've done this before. Just call in and book with the hotel. If you have your AP before check-in, great. If not, let them know you are picking it up and will bring it in to show them :thumbsup2

:rotfl2: I just got my mail, and inside was a PIN code to use at WDW. How's that for irony?? I think I'm the person least likely to use it out of this entire group!! :lmao:

Now why can't I get something like that. I am hoping something will happen before we go. I am using Dreams Unlimited and they are supposed to check for discounts and codes up until we leave.

Morning! :goodvibes

Leaving in a few hours for our trip. Going to Pismo for a few days with just Dave, and then to Refugio near Santa Barbara for the week after.

Mel, what fun your trip sounds. I'm from Los Osos originally (close to SLO) and do miss the cool ocean breeze. I moved to Chico because I thought I wanted seasons...been there and done that. I'd kill to live somewhere with central coast weather. Madi's down there with grandparents right now and will be taking surfing lessons in a week. She's very excited.

I posted on the general thread but wanted to make sure that if any Diva's have DLR hotel ressies - they have released some bigger discounts. I have ressies for 2 PPH concierge rooms 8/22 - 8/26 and saved $1000 with the new discounts!!

With Disney Soundsational Summer underway here at the Disneyland Resort, it’s the perfect time to come check out some of our great new attractions and entertainment. And new special offers are coming that will make your trip planning even easier.

Bridget, so cool that you're saving so much $$$$. I just got this info in the mail yesterday. I want to go so bad but can't :headache:. I'm thinking I might get there in November but most likely it will be Febuary...so sad :sad2:

The HoJo page on FB doesn't let you send messages.....so just a bit disappointed.

We're thinking with the extras & kiddie activities at the hotel, we might just go that route. This would also give us 3 MM......the only way I'd get one of those is if I bought a 3 day PH just to use it for the MM.

Laurie, my vote is for PP. What a great time you would have. Have you tried the actual HoJo's webpage to send a message? I did that a year back and got an answer really quick.

Vicki, Stacie and I are doing Mouse Adventure on the 12th and at this point I believe we have an open spot...room and team. Anybody game?? We have a studio at OKW!!

Daisy

I'd love to get to WDW. MA sounds like so much fun.

Katie, sending good vibes your way. Take care and know that you're in my prayers.

Jess, you're amazing with your training plan. I wish I was so dedicated about something...anything. I can say I did go for a bike ride at the park the other day....after I cleaned all the cobwebs of the bike :lmao:

Beth, I think it's great that you got a PIN code - maybe its a divine intervention????

:rotfl2: I just got my mail, and inside was a PIN code to use at WDW. How's that for irony?? I think I'm the person least likely to use it out of this entire group!! :lmao:

Right now, I'm probably the least likely to go to WDW since I was just there last November. SIGH.

All caught up.

Katie and Patty, hugs to you both.

Mel, have fun on your trip!

I don't remember what else I was gonna comment on..... sigh.

We have a family wedding in San Jose this weekend (for those who know the area, it's at the Winchester Gardens), so I will be gone all weekend. Sleeping on the twin size air mattress on the living room floor. SIGH. Shoot me. Hubby has some high school "reunion" picnic thing on Sunday that I am SO not going to. I had wanted to go up to SF on Sunday, as my BFF is running in the marathon, but it doesn't look like that is going to work out either. BIG SIGH. But I will be at DL 4 weeks from today. YAY!

So anyway doc gave her an inhaler and told me to start giving her zyrtec and then we go back next week to get the results of the allergy tests. FUN!
Sounds like a very trying day. Hope the inhaler helps her out, and the results show something useful that they can help her with.

Now why can't I get something like that. I am hoping something will happen before we go. I am using Dreams Unlimited and they are supposed to check for discounts and codes up until we leave.
If I could give it to you, I would! But I think they are non-transferable. I'll keep my fingers crossed you get one, too!!

Beth, I think it's great that you got a PIN code - maybe its a divine intervention????
Hmmm, maybe! But, then again, if it was truly divine intervention, the mail man would have also delivered a way for me to pay for it! :rotfl2: Sadly, there is no check on the way for me, so for now this PIN code will be going into safe keeping......in the trash.

As in the Winchester Mystery House? :yay: I've wanted to go there since I was a little girl!

Nighty night, ladies!

Have a great time LisaCat at the wedding. We took a west coast trip one summer stopping at all the tourist stops along the way. We spent a wonderful afternoon at the Winchester house. The strangest part was a small stair way -- very small-- midget sized-- that of course went no where. We took the tour of the house to understand about the history of how it came to be. I must say I did feel a bit strange at times, exspecially in the kitchen area. I hope you get a chance to go there some day Beth.

The lawns and gardens are a wonderful choice for a wedding. Is the reception going to be there? I hope they get to use one of the carriages for the wedding. That would be so cool.

Have fun then tell us all about being there for a wedding :).

Patty

Kelmac, I am not sure you are aware that you passed right by my house. If you would have looked to your left at exit 41 or 43, you would have seen our house on the hill -- towards the top. There are quite a few homes so you could not pick ours out -- well I think. But that is how close you were maybe < 2 miles away.

Patty

I sure hope the inhaler works. Krista had to use one when she ran sprints at the track meets. I guess they call it sports enduced asthma. Good thing is it worked. Her coach was very scared one time before she got the inhaler.

Katie and Patty - :flower3:

What is MouseAdventures? I have never heard of that. But it sounds like something I need to know about. ;)

I am back at work for another 7 days. The seven days that I got to spend at home - wonderful and totally worth working that long in a row. I was able to finish the dresses for the girls going on a make a wish trip. However, I am feeling so tired and I have zero energy. All I wanted to do was lay in bed or on the sofa all day. My poor kids didn't even get lunches made for them because I just didn't have the energy. I had to make myself sew and I love to sew. It took me 7 days to make two dresses, when usually those dresses would have been finished in two. I usually have to be pulled away from the machine, not to it. I hate feeling like that. Especially when I have a list a mile long of things to do. I am sorry to vent, but my husband thinks I am a crazy and just being lazy.

Hope yall all have a wonderful night!

Morning Bella and Princess, hope you both have wonderful days. ( don't work to hard).

Morning to all of those soon to be rising. I hope each of you have a wonderful day also.

Good morning, ladies!! We're one day closer to the weekend. :cool1: Hope you all have a good day today.

Thanks, me too! I always see it on travel channel shows and such, and I've always wanted to go but for some reason we never seem to make it there. Oh well.

This might help explain more about it:

I'm sorry you've been feeling so exhausted. Are you sleeping well at night? That could have a lot to do with it. Eating right? Getting enough water?
If it's yes to all those, and you are still so tired after a few days I'd suggest going to the doctor just to make sure everything is ok.

Getting ready for work and wanted to drop by and say good morning!
Morning! Hope work goes quickly today!

Morning all.

Patty no I didn't realize how close we were to your home. Amazing! Too bad we couldn't have seen you! That was kind of a crazy day because we drove all the way out to the Johnson observatory only to have to turn around and come back because all we saw were clouds :(. So then we came back and went to the one that is right off the highway (the one with the film that was built in the 90's). Then we were in a hurry to get up to Seattle so we didn't have tons of time that day. But it would have been nice to see you! Sorry we missed you.

Theresa thanks for the tip about the AP. I am actually going to buy mine online probably a few days before the trip so I will have the voucher at least. I am doing the payment plan this time and am actually thinking about getting a premium since I am doing the payments. Would like to get the higher discounts and have no blackouts. I am actually hoping to hear of some better than the AP discounts somehow but not sure if they will have any since that is technically a holiday week. But we shall see. Mom is bound and determined she wants to stay there so I guess it will just depend on how much she wants to spend LOL. If it were up to me it would be at the cheapest place possible LOL.

We never did make it back out yesterday. I have just been exhausted since we have gotten back. We put in some LONG days of driving on the trip and then since we got back I have been going non-stop. Work and then yesterday that marathon doctors mess and school shopping. So this morning I actually slept in till almost 8 which is unheard of for me. I usually can't sleep past 6 lol. But now today I have to tackle a mountain of laundry and have a bunch of bills to pay, have to run to the post office and the bank, have to check the girls cleats to make sure they still fit and if not we have to get them another pair as practice is next week and then tonight is the swim awards.

So yet ANOTHER busy day. BLEH! Then tomorrow it is BACK to work but then Shane has to work this weekend so hopefully we can relax as we have nothing going on. We were going to try and go see Harry Potter but since he is working that prob won't happen now.

Anyway hope everyone has a great day!

KelMac, We would have been near the 2nd route to get to mountain. Were you able to drive up using the second route?. I actually like the route going by silver lake best. There are also two information stations this way in case there is bad weather you can still see artifacts and educational exhibits.

I flew over the mountain when there were just two steam vents. With what happened on May 18, 1980 I sometimes just shutter. We could have been blown out of the sky if it would have exploded while we were hovering overhead.

You know I could have written on a white sheet ******Kelly and family ---It's me Patty-- Wave******. Then waved that over the over pass at exit 41 or 43 LOL I forget the number. You could have honked and kept driving LOL. Ok just kidding. What would have been nice though would have been for me to take our Van and you all ride while I would drive up to mountain. That way everyone could see sights even the one who would have driven.

PrincessKayla, Being tired is the pits. Being tired but needing to get stuff done is just a pain. My husband knows it would cost him so much money if he ever called me lazy.

1. A new coach bag to hold the money I would spend on a shopping trip.

2. The help I would hire to get me all caught up with house work.

3. The nagging I would do for days -- no weeks-- nagging about all and everything.

4. The trip I would plan ***solo**** to thank myself for not making husband eat his words.

His mother must have taken time to let husband know you always say what ever is made for dinner tastes great and was just what you were wanting for dinner :). That if you need clean underwear you might just have to go buy some or do the laundry yourself. That you are the luckiest man ever that you married such a wonderful woman.

Ok the last sentence is a lie LOL just thought I would toss that in.

In all honesty Kayla take the time to do nice things for just you. A massage, an hour long foot massage can be so relaxing. Take a few hours to give your mind a rest by doing nothing. Don't feel bad or feel that you have to get "stuff" done. The good thing is all that **stuff*** will be there after you take time out just for you.

You sound like a Super woman to me. You got more done in that 7 days off then I could have done in 7 weeks.

Have a fun day everyone. Take a minute to day dream about fun times at Disneyland or Disney World.

Patty

Ah. Work today was long, mostly because my legs were really sore from my past few days of running. By the time I got home I felt like my shins were trying to murder me.

Putting a new call out, but are there any new signature requests?

I would love one! Something with a happy Donald Duck would be wonderful.

Thank you!
