So it looks like I won't be able to go again next year. With Katelyn's National win it means we are going back to St Louis next June and now taking an unexpected trip to WDW in December. Katelyn was nominated all american again at cheer camp so she gets to be in the taping of the Christmas parade in Magic Kingdom and the whole family will get to watch her Christmas Day!

I'm so sorry you won't make it....was hoping to meet you in person....BUT with that said.......I've been so impressed with your kids & your support for them!!!! They're really had some wonderful accomplishments & getting to be there with them is priceless!!!!! Enjoy this time with them & keep us updated!! What a proud mom you must be!!!

Go for it Laurie! You deserve it. I hope they release a good deal for Dec. I'd love to stay on property and get MM and TTMM. I can't wait to see the boys' faces when they see Mickey for the first time!

The boys haven't been to DL before??? WDW?? Oh my goodness.....it's so special to see the kids react to seeing one of the characters!!!! Michayla loves Mickey, but seeing him in person wasn't the reaction we expected....but I will say on our last day....she say Mickey at the Surf's Up breakfast & she ran up to him, sat at his feet & he joined her on the floor.....I still tear up thinking about it!!! Amazing!!

Just got back from taking the kids to the $2 movie!! Judy Moody was really cute and both seemed to enjoy it. As a special treat we also went to McDonald's and they had happy meals and an ice cream sundae. We will leave in a few minutes for speech for Donovan. Then probably go by the grocery store for milk and apple juice. Then I have to start getting the house cleaned up for the bug man to come spray on Friday. What fun!!

Hope that everyone is have a good week so far. I and sending prayers and hugs for those that are having bumps in the road.

We have 3 weeks until school starts back, so I have to start getting all of the supplies together.

Good Morning! Sadly, I won't be in WDW in Nov. I had to scrimp somewhere. I have 3 children under 5 and DH and I both work full time. I'd love to have the vacation schedule that some of my friends have, but it's just not possible right now. I'm going to the Expo next month, DLR in Dec with the family (for the first time for them!), the Girls trip, and spring MA. I'm surprised that I'm able to do that much!

Oh bummer. I remember now Stacie saying you couldn't make it in November. Guess it was just wishful thinking that something had changed. But your vacation schedule sounds pretty darn good to me!!!

Update on my good friend: Unless there is a big miracle going to happen soon she is being kept comfortable for the next few days. I am so glad that the last time I saw her I reminded her of all our good times we had had over the years. I am glad I got that extra "till we meet again" hug.

Oooooh, more Divas!! I didn't realize you and Linda would be there as well. Can't wait to see the pics from that trip!

I was in Phoenix a couple of weeks ago and thought about you and Stacie but it was a whirlwind trip (literally as our plane took off seconds before that dust storm came through on the 18th) so no time to meet up. We flew in and out of Phoenix but spent all our time in Tucson and Sedona. We will probably be back down there in the fall of next year.

Beth, if I thought you were serious about doing MA I would go just to see that! The only sitting allowed is to pee and even then you get one minute.

Yes, I had to back out. We were trying for the coast to coast award which requires the team to be a majority of those that played in MA on the West coast in 2011 and then at WDW. We really kicked booty at MA in the spring (came in 13th!), and there are not many teams at WDW. So, were thinking that we stood a pretty good chance of getting high up on the coast to coast challenge. The last I heard, the spot was being saved for Christine (Stacie's daughter) so that they could still be in that challenge. You should message the whole team and see what they have decided to do. I feel bad that I ditched them, but know that you would be a wonderful addition to their team if they decide to add a 4th!

Yes... You can do it and it doesn't require 16 days!

The last Halloween Party is November 1st. The 1st Christmas Party is November 8th. Arrive October 31st and Leave November 9th... Counting travel days it is 10 days.... Add in Food & Wine in between and lots of fun to be had!!

I would LOVE to go! Not sure I could get the time off work though.

Regarding MouseAdventure, I'm trying to clarify with them if we are eligible for a coast-to-coast challenge they have going. It's dependent on the number of players who participated in DL, and the majority having to participate in WDW. They've posted it 2 different ways: 1) The "rule" is 2 of the original 2-player team, 2 of the original 3-player team and 3 of the original 4-player team (we had a 4-player team in DL); and 2) On a 3 player team — at least 2 players must have participated on the same team in the Spring 2011 Disneyland MouseAdventure event and play on the same team in the Walt Disney World MouseAdventure event. Since Vicki and I were on the DL team, when we add Daisy, we are still the majority, according to rule #2. But we aren't eligible if you go by rule #1. So confusing!! I'll let you know as soon as someone lets me know. Since we did so good in DL, I would hate to miss out on that challenge; there's definitely not as many teams that participate in WDW as in DL, last year there were only 32 teams.

I USED to get PINS to an old email address... Ever since. Stopped using that email I haven't gotten a PIN. They were always DL pins and it was before I had ever gone to DL. Of course now I would love to get PINS and I never do

Weird. I never price packages. I don't bother because I know I can't afford them!!
When we've gone to WDW in the past we always book a timeshare with my aunt's RCI membership. Much cheaper. Soooooo, no clue what made them send this to me. I just found it funny.

Afternoon all.

Patty I am so sorry about your friend. I am glad that you were able to be with her one last time and prayers to her family!

Patty (the other one ) sorry you won't be able to make the trip. But it sounds like you will be quite busy with your daughter and have lots of fun stuff going on.

Carol I hope it works out that you can go with the gals back to DW. Fun!! I have always and STILL want to do a MA someday but it never seems to work out. We were actually AT Dl one year during a fall one and saw all the teams running around but since we go a couple times during the year otherwise I can never seem to fit in one more trip.

SOMEDAY though I am going to make it happen!!

So I took Katy to the doc today and we got there about a half hour early and unlike my old doc and my personal doc as well as some of my other docs they made us wait TILL our apt time and actually after to even call us back and then we had to wait ANOTHER half hour back in the room. SO frustrating. Then the PA said she thought Katy had allergies and suggested some lab work so we went to a lab I knew about that I "thought" was less crowded then the one they recommened becuase it was near the hospital and I KNEW that one took forever. NOPE. Got there and waited over an hour before they even checked us in. I sure wished I had eaten first!! Her apt was at 9 a.m. and we weren't done till after 11! So anyway doc gave her an inhaler and told me to start giving her zyrtec and then we go back next week to get the results of the allergy tests. FUN!

Anyway then we ran to target and it cost me 120 bucks between the allergy meds and shelby's school supplies. OUCH! I still have to get Katy's stuff too! Next week when we pick up her schedule we have to get locks and her planner and then when she starts school we will have to buy whatever HER teachers require. Never ending I tell ya! At least Shelby's stuff is all done although I wouldn't be surprised if after she gets her actual teacher they suggest something else. Always seems to be the way LOL.

Also I noticed that the airfares finally came out on Southwest for the trip dates but as of now they are outragous. I was able to get 40 1 way for our November trip and that was a holiday weekend. But as of now 1 way for Thurs and Monday is 113! EEK! So hoping for some sales between now and then and that it doesn't go up even more. I signed up for Ding and am hoping they have something since that is not a real busy time although a bit nervous since that is presidents week. I am hoping that that doesn't turn out to be a problem in the future going that week.

Also mom and I were hoping for some deals on hotels but I am a bit afraid of the same problem with that. She really wants to stay at PP but like Laurie we haven't ever gotten a pin code and I have stayed on site several times in the last few years. Weird! I don't have an AP right now either and don't plan on getting one till right before the trip so can't even use my AP discount.

Sure hoping they have some deals but we may have to temporarily book something else in the meantime and hope that something else better comes along as it gets closer.

Anyway I was supposed to take the girls to the library program but I am exhausted so we blew it off today. But they have a few more weeks of it so we will go next week.
