Girls Trip #1 (check in daily for any plans being finalized or changes/updates)

Hi gals. I was just noticing that we have no meals planned together for Sunday. Seeing as I haven't signed up for anything except the wine tasting (I don't like BB, and character meals are out for me this trip), I'm wondering if anyone would want to have lunch or dinner at Carnation Cafe on Sunday?

It's the same menu for both lunch and dinner. Maybe we could shoot for a late lunch to avoid the most crowded time? I know they won't take large groups at the Cafe, but if a few of us made PS reservations, then we could request to sit near each other??

Anyone interested? :confused3

I'm up for it. I haven't eaten there yet. I've heard they have wonderful food.

Callie, wasn't someone going to set up a Yamubuki dinner or something? I'd be willing to do a Carnation Cafe -I love their potato soup. If get get 3 o'clock ressies, I think we'd be able to see the parade...

Hi everyone~ have to tell you a funny on me today . . .. I have been working my tail off--just too much work and not enough time. the last three mornings I have gotten up at 3:20, 4:15 and then this morning I woke up at 2:30 and stayed in bed until 4 before I got up.

anyway=--needless to say--I'm tired! one of the good things about having your own business is that you get to set your own dress code--which for me is usually pants of some type and Crocs! However, today I had to go to this luncheon thing, so that meant "real" clothes.

So, this afternoon I'm sitting at my desk around 3 p.m. and something seems to be irritating the skin on my chest right under my neck--so I pull on the neckline to see why. . . . and the tag is there--in the FRONT. I had worn my dress the whole day backwards and no one (not the least of which, me!) had even noticed!!!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

LOL--tomorrow I'm back to pants and Crocs (thank God!!!!!)

I dont do well sleeping during the day, and I was so tired I had on 2 different shoes! I started bawling, and ran into my mangers office and showed her what I had done. :sad2: Needless to say, I was back on days within a week!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Omigosh! My Mom did the same thing many many years ago--two different shoes--a blue and a black! That is so funny . . . especially the bawling part and that they took pity on you and put you back on days

Ok, so this girl who also loves Vegas (me) wants to know what you did at the casino!

Ummm, yeah, that was me. :rolleyes1 It didn't seem like many people were interested in the japanese cuisine not to mention the dinner prices even scared me a bit. I thought Carnation might be a bit more tame and affordable. The idea of eating during the parade sounds awesome! I'll see if I can get something around that time on Sunday once more people respond.

I'll be around and think I could swing it.

My mom and I ate here last time we were at DL and saw the parade at the same time. It was cool! I'm in for Sunday lunch.:thumbsup2

Count me in! I'm up for (almost) anything!!

Sad times, I would love to join you wonderful DIS ladies but ALAS! I am only 19 and won't be 21 until next year. I guess I'll have to put another trip together for us teens & 20s.

Have a good time

And, MommauU4 awesome job in organizing this thing!

I didn't realize we had an age limit, but sorry you can't join us!

Hopefully we'll be doing this again soon when you're "legal"!:dance3:

You could join us for everything except the bar. I think you should go this time around.

Zoemakes5--thanks for clarifying that--I hadn't heard of an age limit otherwise and was confused too!

I may not do the bar anyway (and believe me I'm WAY over 21!) I'm going to dinner and then may spend the last few hours that evening at DL.
