My first reaction to your question Sarah was --oh no, it is too small. But then I pulled out my messenger bag from the alarming depths of my closet and stuffed my hooded Mickey sweatshirt into the main compartment. Yep--it fit..made the bag a bit chubby, but it wasn't a totally tight squeeze. So, I then added my smallish digital camera and my wallet and hung a water bottle on the outside, and it all fit. I could have added more. (not a lot more, but someother small esssentials) I was surprized!!! I've always just zipped my jacket to the strap and carried it on the outside!!!
Oh, and my sweatshirt is pretty big---unisex large so pretty bulky.
So, maybe I should rethink it...nope...still don't like it!!

Thanks for the info...I am going to measure my back pack and compare it to the size of the messenger baggallini. I would only have a light sweater, my camera, cell phone, water bottle, chapstick, wallet, snacks, I think that;s about it.
Have you had this trouble? On another note--would it be too early for me to start drinking now? (It's already been one of those days! negotiating restaurant odor control issues--LOL--whoo hoo is my job exciting!)

) I'm very happy that someone who really can use it won it though!
would be there @12:30 I think
