Does anyone know if it's 30 days or 60 days when we can make the BB reservation? I'm thinking it was 60 days in which case it's coming up soon.

It's 60 days for PS reservations at DLR.

I have read in some other threads about issues making reservations for large parties so I hope they don't give you a hassle. One other thought is that once the VIP Tour gets booked I believe the guide for that is supposed to help with reservations/PS's so you may want to try that avenue too.

I too wasn't thrilled with the Jazz Kitchen menu. But HOB was something I was really looking forward to trying. They are supposed to have a mushroom pasta that is really good. Never had it but someday I would like to.

I just checked out the HOB menu on their website. How did I miss a mushroom pasta??? The open face Turkey Sandwich was what caught my eye. I'm a sucker for turkey. Which is why it is so easy to talk me into LTT for dinner at WDW. They also had a buttermilk fried chicken or something like that.

Well Beth could always break it down to smaller groups and ask them to put the tables close/in the same area since we will all be checking in at the same time. (Putting us in 4 different corners of the restaurant would be bad)

I never expected it to be a seating for 20. They never leave you enough room to get up when they do that. It's not like we can't visit each other between courses.

I'm sure I can make a pea fly a few feet to the table beside me if I had to get someone's attention.

Good idea! I've found the BB staff to be very accommodating . . .

A couple of other things-and I think this first was mentioned before--but even at lunch the BB is very pricey and I think the portions are large . .. so I'm hoping some ladies will want to share. Also, note that they do not have separate "entree" salads--only salads that come with the meals. I actually saw a family who was seated and left without ordering because the Mom wanted a separate salad and they could not accommodate her. I believe there are one or two vegetarian entrees, but otherwise it's meat, chicken or fish--or the famous (or infamous) Monte Cristo! From that standpoint Cafe Orleans has a more diverse menu because they have salads and sandwiches (but the atmosphere at BB can't be beat!)

Thanks, I thought it was 60 days but I'm doped up on cold medicine right now and for the life of me couldn't remember. LOL Okay, so that is coming up soon then!!

Yeah, I thought their menu was pretty large and I actually found a few things on there I'd be open to trying. I love turkey too, and we eat a lot of it since we don't eat steak or much beef at all really. And we don't eat pork either, so that leaves chicken and turkey.

That's a shame that family had to leave. Geez, they could have just given her the salad. Huh.

Well, like you said, for me the appeal of the BB is the atmosphere. I've eaten there before but it was ages ago and I want to go there again, but no way, no how am I paying for my family of 6 to eat there!!!

So I figure this trip is my best bet.



As for the seating, I'm sure we'll be broken up into groups. I was already expecting that. Which is fine as long as they can seat us relatively close to each other's tables.

I hope you all are doing well! It is starting to look more like Spring here...no more snow and there is sunshine!

I just wanted to post that I am 100% not going to be going on this trip. We owe money to the IRS this year and I cannot swing it with DH. I am super bummed. I was hoping to be able to meet all of you...and I am hoping that there is another trip in the future.

We do have a family trip planned for Sept 26-29 so if any of you are going to be there then....I would love to meet you!

I will still chat on here...I am just not going on the trip.
