Stacie, I really wanted to do the Segway tour, but unfortunately, it looks like this is going to be a major budget trip for me (if I get to go at all). Dh's clients just aren't paying right now, so things are getting way too tight for two Disney trips this spring. :headache:

So I'm probably going to have really limit my spending (1 tour -- the cheap VIP one; 1 meal with the ladies -- no Yambukki for me :sad1:; 1 t-shirt, etc.). I'm not really worried about it, I'll just be happy to be at DL with y'all. :goodvibes
Aw Callie, I'm sorry to hear that. But I know what you mean. Money is always tight here. We have a family of 6 with one income! :scared1: And while my DH is a wonderful man and hard worker, he doesn't make the salary of a brain surgeon if you kwim? So I totally understand.

But no more talking of not going at all. We'll have to come and kidnap you if it comes to that cause we all want you there girl!! ;)

For some people this trip will be done on a budget and for some it will be a time to splurge. Either way, like you said, just being there will be FUN!! :yay:

Jill, thanks for posting those pics and the info! I think that tour looks like alot of fun especially with a group of other ladies. :thumbsup2

Take note of the two I put in Bold, I suggest that you ladies NOT wear your "We swear, we didn't do it" T-shirts that day. The tour guide will be watching you guys to make sure you behave. :rotfl:

I also booked my flight today. I almost lost out on the best direct deal I found so far. The price had gone up over $200. :guilty: Then I remembered some airlines share flights. United saved the day and had the same flight at the old price still. :cheer2:

:rotfl: That's funny about the tees.
And I'm glad you were able to book your flight!

Stacie, I added your pic to the front page! :thumbsup2 Thanks.

Anyone else want to post a pic?? :yay:

I finally added one of me as well. I hate all my pics, so I just had to finally choose one.
It was taken at a fun restaurant here in Vegas called Dick's Last Resort where they put these silly paper hats on your head with different sayings the waiter writes on them. (in case you were wondering what the heck that was! LOL)

Mine said, "Ridden more then Sea Biscuit". :rolleyes1 :rotfl: I was with two other gals, but I cannot write what theirs said here on the DIS. Too naughty. If your curious, ask me in April. ;)

I've been to Dick's in Chicago so I can probably guess what the other hats said. Now I KNOW that the ladies on this trip would be too prim & proper to go to a place like that ... NOT!!!

I went to their restaurant in San Antonio this year. I can only imagine what the other hats said.....;)

You gals are just the best for all your wonderful words of support!:grouphug:

I am completely pooped out, but I'm happy to report that my mom is home and doing very well. She has pain of course, but we're keeping on top of the pain with meds. It's kinda funny watching a 70 year old all loopy on drugs.

She started singing some song about the Isle of Capri as they wheeled her off to the operating room yesterday.:lmao:

January (Daisy_77) - I'm so sorry to hear you're sick with the flu. Get lots of rest and I hope you're feeling better soon.

Hi Capri. Thanks for the update. Good to hear she's home now. That's too funny about her singing on the way into the operating room! :rotfl:
Take it easy and try to get some rest when you can.

Beth... I think your pic looks great! I especially like the hat. ;)

:rotfl2: Oh yeah, the hat's really stylin! :rotfl:

Hmmm, maybe in addition to tees, lanyards, and nametags, we can walk around Disney in hats too!! Big old white paper hats. :lmao: I don't think we'll attract much attention at all......:rolleyes1

I like the hat too.....oh sooooooooo naughty!!! So, was the waiter cute?
You know, I don't even remember! So I'd say he was average, because if he was one extreme or the other, I'm sure I'd remember that!! :rotfl2: He was funny though, so that's a good thing.

It's a fun place. If any of you ever make it out to Vegas, let me know. Maybe we can hang out and go there. :thumbsup2

How's everyone doing today? I know a couple of you are going to Disney this week-end and I am so jealous. LOL I wish I was there right now. (sigh)

But I love seeing the tickers. I can't believe January is more then half over. Time is flying by!

Speaking of which, before we know it, it will be time to make reservations so if you are interested in eating at a certain place, make sure you PM that person. Once reservations are made, it just gets harder to squeeze people in.

Thanks!!

Have a good day and I'll catch ya'll later. I've got errands to run today and tonight DH and I are going to Treasure Island to see the Cirque show Mystere.

Oohh! I love Mystere!! I've seen it twice. I've also seed "O". But I liked Mystere better.

Have fun!!!

Thanks! It was a little odd. :rotfl: Good, but I'm not sure I understood it and the costumes were funky. :rotfl2: But the performers were amazing as with all Cirque shows. :thumbsup2

Wow, slow day around here. Hope you all had a good one.

We have seen three Cirque shows (including "O", which was very expensive compared to the others and not as impressive) and our favorite was La Nouba at WDW. We just loved the little girls and their routines. It was a fun and entertaining show. I do have to say that all the performers in all the Cirque shows are phenomenal and quite impressive. Beth, is it raining there? I wish it would stop here, there is a pretty good storm going on.

Oh, please tell it to stop. :)

Wait...I assume you're right near Anaheim. If you are, tell it to stop. But if you're not, and if it stops where you are and might move up to DLR, then don't. :)

Yes yes, it's all about me. :rolleyes1

Hi Linda. :)

I've never seen La Nouba but my in-laws have and they really enjoyed it. I hope one day we'll be able to catch it.

Our goal is to see all the shows here on the Strip at some point. :rotfl: So far we've seen:

Carrot Top
Bottoms Up
Mac King
Ronn Lucas
American Superstars
Skintight
Showgirls
Jubilee
X - An Erotic Adventure
Tony and Tina's Wedding
Splash
Danny Gans
Siegfried and Roy
Spamalot
The Producers
KA
Love
V - The Ultimate Variety Show
Crazy Girls
Stomp Out Loud
Zumanity
Mamma Mia
Mystere

The list is growing, but we cheat because for a lot of those shows, we got a locals discount. LOL Otherwise we'd be broke!!
I think I enjoyed KA the best. I'd love to see "O" but it's so expensive. :sad2: I think Phantom of the Opera is next on our list.

It's not raining here. We hardly ever get rain. I wish it would. I love the rain and miss it. Hopefully it stops soon for you. Send it my way!! ;)
