I'm home! What did I miss?!!!

Whatever diva sent my package, it probably arrived while I was gone (if you sent it regular postal service). My parents didn't check the mail (since I had the mail box key on my keys! doh!). I'll go to our mail box tomorrow morning!!

I got mine today from Courtney aka Prettyprincessbelle!!! A big thank you Courtney - I'll be sending you a PM as well.

It was like Christmas! So many great goodies - I LOVE it all!!

Here's the list (yes I need to list everything because there was a lot):
Cute Ice Cube Mold Tray with little seashells, fish, sun, palm tree

Mickey and Friends pens - I can always use those for work and I'm hiding them from the kids!

Light Up Jiggly Mickey Pen – So cute it has blue feathers and Mickey on the top

Mickey and Pluto stickers – I love Mickey

An Eddie Bower water bottle with a thing in the middle to freeze for ice - Great for taking with me to the beach!!

Two plastic glasses with cute swirly designs – This will be great to take to the pool and out on the patio filled margarita’s!

A awesome purple beach towel and Suntan Lotion – Yay…beach here I come!!

Fat Free Gummi Bears – Perfect for my diet plan

And last but not least some yummy looking chocolaty things from Starbucks…Those I am putting away for a special treat if DBF doesn’t get to them first. He had his eye on them!

Thank thank thank you Tina!!! From the festive lime green duct? tape to the contents, winner ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a fantastic water floatie chair in, get this, LIME green!! My DD will be taking that to Palm Springs with her tomorrow to play in the DB-in-law's condo's pool!!!!!

A beautiful towel....never have enough of those, EGYPTIAN cotton no less, lime green purple, turquoise and navy--fishies. Oh, and the towel is enourmous!!!

Water balls to hurl at my DH and DD next time we are in a pool and a plastic margarita glass for when the cabana boy is serving me a frozen concoction!!!

My daughter is currently looking at the lounge float and saying, "This is so AWESOME!!!".


So thank you so much!!!! Yours is totally not a dud!!! I hope you are as lucky with your package!!

Is anyone else getting worried as these great packages are described that yours will totally fall flat, and you receipient is going to thank you just cause they were well brought up?

All of the packages sound so creative. I didn't write a poem, have a theme,tell a story,send a snack.

You are not--every package is different--mine didn't have a theme, I didn't write a poem, tell a story (but I did send foodstuffs). don't worry it will be just fine and whoever gets your package will love it--just like I loved my hostess gift (I really did--)

Yes, the candle is totally in one piece. It smells SOOO good--I think I'm just going to leave it in my office with the top off.

A cool card? I just scrawled a quick note on a random piece of paper with a sharpie....

And I scrawled a note too--on a card from a set that was in my office that Ex-BF gave me.

You see, I plan to be a feisty old lady, so I am starting early!! I managed to make a young (and ever-so studly) firefighter blush when I was seeing him with his lovely young dog Motley the other day. ( I am a veterinarian if you hadn't figured that from my username!!)

I thought, I made a fireman blush, my work here is done!!!

I love Halloween decorations! I'm such a dork. I'm taking a ceramics class this semester (potters wheel... it's so hard! it's NOTHING like the movie Ghost... not sexy at all...) and when we did our bowl assignment I made a spider web bowl and I'm going to use it as a Halloween decoration. It turn out so cool! I made it months ago but I'm still equally excited about it. So much so that I felt obligated to tell that story just now. I told you ladies I was a nerd.

Yeah, I did the potter's wheel once and thought the same thing. Hah. I love the spider web bowl!

I love, love, love Halloween!! Even more than Christmas!!
I love dressing up, I love the costumes, the deocrations, the creepy food,
taking the kids trick or treating ** I am so excited to do it myself this year**
I love the Halloween specials, sometimes even scary movies, IF I am not watching them alone!!

I'm excited for the Halloween exchange too! It's always fun We used to totally decorate the clinic I worked in every year for Halloween and during clinic we would play Rocky Horror Picture Show and eat popcorn and hand out treats. Loved it!

I love that there are so many Halloween fans. YAY!

I like Christmas but to me, it's also comes with too much pressure. Pressure to make it special, to buy the right gift, and wonder where the money is coming from to buy all the gifts. So that part of it I don't like.

But Halloween is just about dressing up, getting spooked, eating candy and having fun. What's not to like?

Donna sent me a box full of treats. She sent me books and I LOVE to read! I haven't read any of them yet, and will really enjoy these. Now to choose which one/s goes on the cruise with me and the long flight to Florida! She also sent me a cool pen, and you're right, Donna, my kitties love it, too. She also sent Tink tatoos and Tink glitter, which I will wear on the cruise. I love glitter, ha ha. I will also be able to use the travel lock, just perfect. She also sent other fun goodies like magnetic clips, cool napkins, a photo book, crossword puzzles, which I will take with me (love crossword puzzles), and then, as if that weren't enough, I also got a dvd about Walt Disney himself!!! I'm such a Disney nerd, I love it love it.

Thank you so much, Donna, for all the cool gifts. Oh, and the snack disappeared right away. It was so yummy!

I'm sooo happy you liked it all. The pen is a funny story. I took everything to my box and ship store. They also have a store with little gifts and stationary supplies. I was looking for one last thing to add since I knew there was space and they had these pens that have sort of a long fiber optic "tail" to them, like many strands. Well, the first one I picked didn't light up when you wrote. And the second one. The salesgirl and I tried every pen and found that only the pink and the yellow ones worked - for some reason the other colors were DOA. Anyway, just the kind of goofy last minute add, I thought.

What is weird for me now is that when I go to the store, I am still in the mindset to look for things for you. I have to now turn off my tink radar!
I hope the film is good - the online reviews were good.

Where to start? Well it came in a very well taped box. I mean this thing could have gone through a lake and still come out fine. We did eventually get it open and then my DS4 dove in!

Thank you SO MUCH for the thoughtful package, so beautifully put together, with such wonderful treats! We really had such a blast tonight opening it. My DS4 was just going through the tissue and streamers for like 30 minutes cheering "it's a party!!" So she showed me..and that's the story behind those.

to say it had alot of tape was an understatement. We have had a problem where i live of people opening packages. So i wanted to make sure noone opened yours but you!

Yep, they sell those in DL. Usually up by the cash registers. They have them in all colors, but when I saw the lime green of course I had to get some. I had an extra so I sent it to you. I wasn't sure if you already had one or not. Glad you liked it.

Good morning ladies!

To the Diva who sent my package. I received a "sorry we missed you" note in my mailbox. The mailman tried to deliver it on Thursday and since it didn't fit in our mailbox, the mail man is holding it to redeliver. I went online and requested they drop it off at the apartment main office so I can pick it up there. It said it will do it Monday, so Monday I will get my box!!

My package is here (actually got here yesterday but the office was closed by the time I checked the mail) and it is amazing!!!

First of all, Heather sent me a really cute sticker book that Ty and I will get to play with to make different funny faces. Then, there was a super adorable mini backpack/cooler tote that is just perfect for a mama on the go.

Noting my love of all things ice cream, I also got a set of Cold Stone Creamery ice cream dishes that look like waffle cones and are packaged with a set of Jelly Belly jelly beans in ice cream flavors. They look so delicious and I am just waiting for Ty to take a nap 'cause I don't wanna have to share!

If that wasn't enough already, Heather sent me a ton of Disney scrapbooking supplies that I can't wait to play with. And to top it all off, she made me a digital scrapbook of the Diva trip back in March. Everything is so personal and so fantastic. And, her attention to details like Disney stickers on the box and pink & green tissue paper (my favorite combo) made me feel so blessed to have Heather and the rest of you as my friends.

I'm so with Amy Sue in terms of feeling like I could have/should have done so much more to glam up my package that I sent out. As usual the Disney Divas have set the bar high!

I loved it--it was all fantastic! And, I realized that I also forgot to mention the Twilight themed sweethearts candies. Where did you find them? I really want to send my sister a box or two. They are uber cute and could be fun to munch on when watching tv (but not with my sister )!

O to the M-G!!!! I just got the best package ever! Theresa, I fear you know me a little too well!

I almost missed the delivery too, because I was too lazy to answer the door! Luckily my mom saw the postman and chased him down for me. Then my mom and dad came in my room and wanted me to open it in front of them...I'm glad I didn't.

Inside was a pink/white/orange Mickey Mouse towel, which is absolutely perfect because I never get around to buying myself a beach towel and always end up with a boring blue towel.
A very cute Minnie Mouse t-shirt, that I was actually thinking about buying the other week!
A box of Dove chocolates, which are almost gone!!!
Two magnets that are going straight up onto my wall (I have a wall that is magnetic). One has one of my favorite quotes: "Well behaved women rarely make history." and the other one is freaking hilarious: "A fool and his money are my best friends."
Tic tacs in the breast cancer container so they are pink too, my favorite color!
Softlips lip balm in Tangerine Temptation - yummy!
Nic's Sticks by OPI in Run Don't Walk. I can't wait to paint my toes!
A copy of Cosmopolitan (UK edition). Of course Cosmo is my favorite magazine! It's the naughty Diva's bible!
There is another thing that was included, that I'm very excited to try out, but I don't know how DIS friendly it is, so I'll refrain from saying what they are. (This is the item I'm glad my parents weren't around for!)
A list of yummy drink recipes, that I can't wait to try out! Of course I'm going to have to make the "Windy Beach"
And a cute pink Hawaiian tote to carry it all in!!!!

Jane, I know exactly what you are talking about. I've seen those at the Walmart on Rainbow. I know that's not near you, but if you can't find any, I can pick some up for you.
