Ah, contacts. Another thing I haven't worn since my wedding day.

Poor Ruben, once we were married, all bets were off. :scared1: :rotfl2:

So, any plans to book another cruise??

Of course. :rotfl: I actually left a deposit while we were still on board. They were have a promotion so we will get $50-$200 on board credit (depending on the length of the cruise). I think DBF and I are going in March for spring break and we are trying to paln a Family and Friends Reunion cruise in June. Both of these will just be the 4 day (Fri-Mon).

Wow. Now if only Carnival would go to Alaska. lol

I'm going to have take a peek at those prices, just for kicks.

Not at all, and just think how warm you'll be.

Carnival does go to Alaska! You would have to leave out of Seattle or Vancouver though.

Dun dun dun....

The Scavy Hunt team consisting of myself, Sarah (Motox), Trudi and Steph have come up with the name.....

Good idea, Angie  You can tell your hubby you're being frugal :thumbsup2 Plus it is a whole lotta fun (just stay away from my man)

I promise to stay away from your man! I'm sure I'll have no problem finding my own:lovestruc

Yes, you should come!! It will be fun!

I am off and running on another long day!
School from 8AM :scared1: (why did I do this to myself???) -11:15 AM.
Then I have to get my eyesbrows waxed & then off to work at 1:45 PM -10
I am so glad I have 1 more day after today!

I hope you girls have a great day!

I'm working on coming! Have you ever had your eyebrows threaded? I like it a lot more than waxing.

I am so boring, or maybe just broke. Not sure. But I've never had anything waxed, no pedis, no massages, no facials, etc.
Last mani was my wedding day in 1993.

We all got pedicures and manicures(my first) before my sisters wedding last year. I loved the pedicure!

Theresa and I could hop on in Vancouver!

Sarah, they had 4 day cruises for $154.00!

A-hoy! We have the Sparrow's Sweeties!!:goodvibes

Theresa, I forgot you were one of the replies I erased.
Anywhos, my favorite salad is called Aunt Polly's Vegetable Medley. It comes with lettuce, grapes, olives, artichoke hearts, shaved cheese, spiced nuts, and some other stuff I can't remember. It's a good sized serving, and also comes with a roll. You can order it to go. I love it!!!

Well I tried on my DD's Tie dye, and it fits. So ladies, I am definitely going to be out there.
No losing me. :rotfl:

Blah, blah, blah. Oh, I'm sorry, did you say something?? :rolleyes1

Why is there no flippin the bird smiley????

I had my eyebrows waxed once at the nail salon. The little Vietnamese girl talked me into it. Never again. My eyebrow area was swollen and red for like THREE days! And they were so thin, you could barely see them. They are fairly sparse and blond already. It was just a waste of $$ to me. So after that experience, I wouldn't even try another area. Plus I wear the grandma type bathing suit with a skirt so no one can see anything anyways!

Oooh, I don't get my eyebrows waxed any more...... My skin reacts every time and it is not pretty - lasts about a week too  Plucking is the way to go (I'm talking eyebrows here, 'K??) :thumbsup2

I might be shaking so bad they will have to carry me off the plane, lol.

Thanks for being so helpful. I should be getting in at 12:28 and by the time I get baggage I guess I'll get there in about hour and 1/2 maybe, lol.

I am getting ready to order the tickets for Disneyland Express now. I know it's early but I won't to make sure I have everything I need.

No problems, you can do it!! If I can, you definitely can. I am queen of the wuss people :upsidedow

I promise to stay away from your man! I'm sure I'll have no problem finding my own:lovestruc

See, now this is the right attitude, unlike SOME people!!

Theresa and I could hop on in Vancouver!

Yahoo, works for me!!!

Carnival does go to Alaska! You would have to leave out of Seattle or Vancouver though.

Oh hey, I hear there are some really cool and fun peeps in Vancouver :rolleyes1

Ooh, sounds yummy! I may have to try that some time - there is going to be a LOT of food going around on this trip and a salad might be a nice change

Well, I just crept home in the snow!! School is getting out an hour early today and I am kinda thinking that we may not have any school tomorrow. We will see! It really is pretty coming down. We have some on the ground already and are expecting around 6 inches today.

It looks like I have roomies for the trip!!! Can you tell that I am excited! I will be arriving a day before they will, so if anyone wants to split a room the night of the 24th please let me know. I will be modifying my reservation to the one night and going in with them for the rest of the trip!!

I am flying into SNA on the evening of the 24th. What is the best way to get to the HOJO? I just need to start planning all of the details.

Oh and we had a great Christmas trip to Disneyworld over Christmas. We did a three night cruise and then 4 nights at the Wilderness Villas. We did 2 days in Magic Kingdom and then 2 days at Seaworld. It was so much fun!!

Daisy

Yeah, I figure I'll just show up in my usual sleeping attire. No need to spruce up if there's no men there. I hope stubbly legs don't gross you out. :smokin:

I call that my winter coat, it keeps my legs warm. :lmao:

I guess since I'm rooming with Beth I better try and spruce up a bit. :rolleyes1

Hey there roomy!

Yay for snow days! :cheer2:

You're Christmas trip sounds like it was awesome.

Probably the best and most economical way to get from SNA to the HOJO (since it's just you) is SuperShuttle or the Disneyland Express.

I call that my winter coat, it keeps my legs warm. :lmao:

Nawwww, Beth likes au natural and fuzzy. :thumbsup2

Daisy, have you posted a picture of yourself? I would feel terrible if I walked right past you on my first day at the park or the HOJO because I didn't know it was YOU, if you know what I mean. Otherwise, I'm going to think that every girl I don't recognize who is wearing some shade of green is you. :goodvibes

You know I keep meaning to post a picture and keep forgetting to get hubby to show me how. I will do that when he gets home from work today.....put it on his honey do list!

I have not booked my return flight home yet, does that mean I get to live in DL???

Before I forget, I'm thinking of the itinerary tags (like the ones I made last year). Let me know if you all are interested in getting those this year. Either way I'm making a set for me. For those of you that did not attend last year, I made tags (that fit on the lanyard) that had each day's schedule (w/ meal times, meet ups, etc).

steph

Steph - Can Erin & I have itinerary tags too? They were awesome last year.

I'll see those of you who are meeting with Jen tomorrow night. I am so looking forward to it!!!

I wish I could join you guys tonight. I have to be @ work @ 8 tomorrow. And while I am closer to DL than ever before, I am still to far away to drive down for a weeknight. :(

Have fun ladies!!

Anyone know the percentage of tax they use at the HOJO?

Thanks,
Sarah

15% tax....

Do they also have any hotel fees? Just trying to plan ahead on the total my bill will end up being.

I am so glad I have 1 more day after today!

I remember 8 am classes. Those were the worst. :scared: Granted all my 8 am classes were math (calculus). I've decided my brain doesn't do math until I've been up for at least an hour.

Also is anyone doing a phone list again? That was REALLY helpful and I know I for one have a new phone number. I still have my list from last year but I am sure I am not the only one with a new number plus there are the new gals. Just a thought. :)

I'd be willing to print & laminate these, do I just ask people to PM me? Or is someone already doing this? It was helpful last year (esp when we were trying to track people down via text msgs during the VIP tour debacle)

I know, Carol! Well that’s what I was thinking. But everyone who’s gotten sick has told me the symptoms (throwing up, potty runs, ew!) come really fast and I’ve had this tummy ache for more than 24 hours. So I don’t think it’s that. Plus I’m not nauseous or needing to go the bathroom. I think it’s acid reflux or heart burn related. I don’t ever get any of that, but recently I have been. Now every time I hiccup or burp or whatever it hurts my stomach. I’m taking Pepcid and drinking tea. I had this same stomach ache last Thursday really bad.

I think it’s something I’ve been eating and I think it’s spicy food (noo! I love spicy!). Tuesday for dinner I had an onion and jalepeno omelet. I need to remember what I had for dinner last Wednesday, if it was something hot/spicy, then I think that’s what’s causing this. Ahhh! :scared1:

Not to scare you but it might be GERD. Mine didn't set in until I was in my mid twenties. There are some great things for this at the vitamin stores now a days though that you can take to manage it and still be able to eat spicy / rich food fairly regularly (DH & I eat pretty spicy mexican or indian at least 3 times a week).

Though I will add that my tolerance for spice has gone down as I've gotten older too.

No no no......babe......you're thinking about it all wrong. Those bathing suits with the little skirts are sexy "cheerleader" style suits. :thumbsup2

I  this definition!

Does everyone have their pajamas ready for the Meet and Greet??

Uhh, well, I don't. :rolleyes1 But I will. No time this weekend, but maybe the next. I'm looking forward to it and to seeing what everyone wears.

I don't yet. Hoping to go out and find some Disney bottoms at Walmart during the week next week. Will prolly just wear a t-shirt & PJ bottoms.

I am getting ready to order the tickets for Disneyland Express now. I know it's early but I won't to make sure I have everything I need.

You are a woman after my heart!!! My friend Erin called Tues to tell me she was booking her flight then and getting everything ready. She said she told her hubby "I need to book this today or Kerry is going to start emailing, texting and calling me everyday until I do. Do you remember when Eric's groomsmen didn't book until 1 month before her wedding?!?!"

I'm working on coming! Have you ever had your eyebrows threaded? I like it a lot more than waxing.

What is threading?

Who's on your list now?
You, Katie, Steph and Deb? I'll update the front page.
Yup! Woo Hoo!
:thumbsup2

I am so boring, or maybe just broke. Not sure. But I've never had anything waxed, no pedis, no massages, no facials, etc.
Last mani was my wedding day in 1993.

I also don't drink, smoke, eat steak or seafood. Damn, I'm a cheap date!! :teeth:
I love getting my eyebrows waxed...don't do it very often but I always feel better afterward!...I also love pedis, massages and I am ok with facials! I don't smoke, don't drink too much, and don't eat steak or seafood. Maybe that's why Beth and I get along so well.
Does everyone have their pajamas ready for the Meet and Greet??

Uhh, well, I don't. :rolleyes1 But I will. No time this weekend, but maybe the next. I'm looking forward to it and to seeing what everyone wears.

Capri, you still going all out with the curlers, cig hanging out, wife beater tee, and all? :rotfl2: I think you should! I'll give ya a dollar if you do.... heehee

I have my giant curlers ready and my rainbow fuzzy slippers. I figure if I'm gonna do it, might as well do it right. ;)
I got some fun pjs for christmas that I plan to bring. They are fleece so I should be plenty warm enought...Black pants with pink and white dots and a pink longsleeve top. No curlers here!
Waaaa! I just erased everyone's quotes and replies.

Courtney, I hope you feel better.

AmySue, I like your style of peer pressure for Wendy! :yay:

Sarah, Announce the name for heaven's sake!

Vicki, You're one busy lady!

That's all I remember. :upsidedow

Editing to add,

Hugs to Shirley! I'm so glad you are going to come.

Beth, Carnival Cruises have some awesome deals right now. I received an email from Priceline on them. Marked down 80+ percent!

Hmmm, I might have to look into the cruises!

Be careful roomie! So glad you will be staying with us! And I can't wait to see your picture so I will know who to look for! Hey Beth, did you happen to change my picture on the front page to the one I posted a few days ago? If you could that would be great!

Thanks,
Sarah

After the frustration of two of our names getting snatched (we had one word the same) ;), we have our name finally.

<drum roll>

Jane, Vicki, Amy and Donna are:

THE YO-HO-HOs. (or Yo Ho Hos, we haven't discussed punctuation).

Yay!:cheer2::dance3:
