It does stop right in front of the Hojo (I'm using the DLE as well :thumbsup2). You can buy tickets

HERE

At LAX, you just wait under the green sign just out the doors (it doesn't specifically say Disneyland Express on the sign, just buses). The round trip tickets direct are $30 or $29 through GetAwayToday. Truthfully, I would spend the extra dollar and book directly with Grayline. GAT is good, but it can be complicated because you don't always get tickets and then you have to explain to the bus driver why you don't need to pay (even if you bring your printed receipt), etc. Just saves a headache :thumbsup2

Thanks for your help. I am so new at this, lol. Haven't been on a plane since 1973 and to say I'm nervous is an understatement. :scared1: I also managed to make my first trip all the way across the country. :lmao:

Shirley, I can totally relate! Last year was my first ever flight by myself and I was shaking in my boots!! I am not a good flier to begin with (ask Frank and Jesse!!), so this was a huge thing for me - plus I didn't know a single person, so I wasn't exactly sure what I was getting into ;) I was also the only person not from the US (now there's Angie too - yay!!). The weather was a bit sucky, so the flight was bumpy, but there were too many little kids for me to get hysterical in front of, so I held it together, kissed the ground when we landed, and had a most excellent trip :woohoo:

You can do it :thumbsup2 LAX is actually quite easy to get around and if you get lost, just ask someone (that's what I do). But seriously, the signs are right there, benches underneath - just make sure you go to the bus one, not the shuttle or shared ride ones (they are clearly marked). The stop at the Hojo is right in front of where you check in, so that's easy peasy :upsidedow

All I can say is WOW!!!

You all chatted a lot today.

Sad to hear about Cafe Orleans. I would like to do the barbecue for lunch that day (as I'm not signed up for any other meals that day). That way I can have ice cream for dinner. ;)

And if that 1 spot is still available for the House of Blues on Sunday night, I'd like that too, please :worship:

Beth I just want to thank you so much for keeping this organized!:thumbsup2

Before I forget, I'm thinking of the itinerary tags (like the ones I made last year). Let me know if you all are interested in getting those this year. Either way I'm making a set for me. For those of you that did not attend last year, I made tags (that fit on the lanyard) that had each day's schedule (w/ meal times, meet ups, etc).

steph

I'd like a itinerary tag too. Thanks!

Also, we have our team name!

Steph or Courtney, do you want to announce it or do you mind if I do?

Steph, I would LOVE itinerary tags! Last year, those tags were a life saver for me on the trip. There was so much stuff going on, that those tags were the only way for me to keep track of where I was supposed to be and when.

Thanks Steph!

Quick hello...trip is getting so close for you gals now.
Still so bummed I can't go....it's been hard to even come to the boards lately.
:(:grouphug:

Awwwwww, Janelle, I'm bummed you're not coming too. I wish there was just some way......any way......that you could come. Even if it was just for a couple of days. But I know that it's not possible. Just don't forget, we all love you!

I know what you mean! It's hard and exciting all at the same time to see all the planning going on. I've even tried to figure out if I could come just for Saturday and Sunday. I'll just have to settle hearing all of your fantabulous stories and seeing all the lovely pictures.

Wendy, we're going to miss you!

(Unless Amy can PRESSURE you into it.) :thumbsup2

I am off and running on another long day!
School from 8AM :scared1: (why did I do this to myself???) -11:15 AM.
Then I have to get my eyesbrows waxed & then off to work at 1:45 PM -10
I am so glad I have 1 more day after today!

Sheesh girl, you're one busy lady! So is Vicki! Take care you two!

By the way, I've never had my eyebrows waxed before.....or anything else waxed for that matter. OUCHY!

Just arm me with a razor and tweezers, and I'm good to go. :goodvibes

Another leverage to use. I am soooo ready for a girls only trip in Vegas. I gave the trip to Dan as a Xmas gift with 5 other couples but its not the same.
Goin with eggrolls and seeing eggrolls are 2 different things.:rotfl2:

Ok Patty, that settles it.
You are simply too funny and too much fun to leave behind! You are coming with us and that is final!

Angie, I hope you can come, too. The more the merrier!:dance3:

Geesh...I go to school & work and holy moly...

Sarah, can I have a spot for CO? Please? Thanks

Steph~ I would like a tag also please, thanks.

Wendylou........seester.....you are such a tease..

All of this chocolate cake talk makes me wanna run to the liquor store :rolleyes1
They are so tasty!

I can't remember what else...

But hi, hugs, happy thoughts, good vibes, and all that jazz..

I am pooped! 2 more days of work. Saturday we are going to Costco again, and a little shopping in Spokane and a trip to Cabela's to return a couple of things. I am taking the boys to the Longhorn for lunch. It's pretty tasty!

Hi Amy, enjoy your day alone tomorrow.

I've got you down! I still have at least 2 spots left open for Cafe Orleans on Sunday at 4:30 for anyone who is interested!

I think I have decided to do Super Shuttle again. I priced it and it will be cheaper than going DLE plus they run more frequently while DLE only runs every 30 - 60 minutes. I have a code for a discount if anyone else decides to do Super shuttle!

Sarah

Already have a pair ;) But thanks anyways. Now how did Ruben hurt his back again???
Uhhhhh, I dunno? :rolleyes1

Beth, I will probably order my favorite salad from Riverbelle, and come and join you at the French Market and eat with ya all there.
Sounds like a plan Stan. And hey, if it ever gets too confusing, feel free to call me at home. That goes for anyone. I don't mind. :)

My tummy hurts. :( I'm off to bed. Good night girls!
Oh dear. I hope you feel better soon.

If you come we can get a whole lot of weenies on TOT!!
I want weenies and tater tots too!! :yay:

Oh wait, that's not what you said is it? Dang ,can you tell I am on a diet and have food on the brain. lol

Geesh...I go to school & work and holy moly...
And the moral of the story is.........don't go to work or school. :thumbsup2

All this talk of chippendales has me thinking that maybe I should take a trip without DH.
I think so! Then I think you should call me and we'll go out!

Plus it is a whole lotta fun (just stay away from my man)
Blah, blah, blah. Oh, I'm sorry, did you say something?? :rolleyes1

:p

Good morning and happy thursday all! We've almost made it through our first week back from vaca!
And what a loooong week it has been.

Goin with eggrolls and seeing eggrolls are 2 different things.:rotfl2:

Well, nothing like jumping in with both feet! Cannonball!!!!

Steph or Courtney, do you want to announce it or do you mind if I do?
Someone announce it!! popcorn::

Wendy, we're going to miss you!

(Unless Amy can PRESSURE you into it.) :thumbsup2

Work it, Amy, work it.:thumbsup2

I had my eyebrows waxed once at the nail salon. The little Vietnamese girl talked me into it. Never again. My eyebrow area was swollen and red for like THREE days! And they were so thin, you could barely see them. They are fairly sparse and blond already. It was just a waste of $$ to me. So after that experience, I wouldn't even try another area. Plus I wear the grandma type bathing suit with a skirt so no one can see anything anyways!

I am so boring, or maybe just broke. Not sure. But I've never had anything waxed, no pedis, no massages, no facials, etc.
Last mani was my wedding day in 1993.

I also don't drink, smoke, eat steak or seafood. Damn, I'm a cheap date!! :teeth:

I get my eye brows waxed. I've had one facial and that was on the cruise. I used to get my nails done but it's too hard putting my contacts in with long nails.

No no no......babe......you're thinking about it all wrong. Those bathing suits with the little skirts are sexy "cheerleader" style suits. :thumbsup2
Ooooo, nice. :thumbsup2

BTW, congrats on reaching 5,000 posts! Way to yak!!

Ah, contacts. Another thing I haven't worn since my wedding day.

Poor Ruben, once we were married, all bets were off. :scared1: :rotfl2:

So, any plans to book another cruise??

Does everyone have their pajamas ready for the Meet and Greet??

Uhh, well, I don't. :rolleyes1 But I will. No time this weekend, but maybe the next. I'm looking forward to it and to seeing what everyone wears.

Capri, you still going all out with the curlers, cig hanging out, wife beater tee, and all? :rotfl2: I think you should! I'll give ya a dollar if you do.... heehee

I have my giant curlers ready and my rainbow fuzzy slippers. I figure if I'm gonna do it, might as well do it right. ;)

I might be shaking so bad they will have to carry me off the plane, lol.

Thanks for being so helpful. I should be getting in at 12:28 and by the time I get baggage I guess I'll get there in about hour and 1/2 maybe, lol.

I am getting ready to order the tickets for Disneyland Express now. I know it's early but I won't to make sure I have everything I need.

Waaaa! I just erased everyone's quotes and replies.

Courtney, I hope you feel better.

AmySue, I like your style of peer pressure for Wendy! :yay:

Sarah, Announce the name for heaven's sake!

Vicki, You're one busy lady!

That's all I remember. :upsidedow

Editing to add,

Hugs to Shirley! I'm so glad you are going to come.

Beth, Carnival Cruises have some awesome deals right now. I received an email from Priceline on them. Marked down 80+ percent!

Ooooo, nice. :thumbsup2

BTW, congrats on reaching 5,000 posts! Way to yak!!

I didn't even know I reached 5,000 posts! Guess I was yakking too much to notice.

Yeah, I figure I'll just show up in my usual sleeping attire. No need to spruce up if there's no men there. I hope stubbly legs don't gross you out. :smokin:

Wow. Now if only Carnival would go to Alaska. lol

I'm going to have take a peek at those prices, just for kicks.
