Has anyone stayed at Hotel Menage? I got it for a good price. It looks nice and has good reviews plus the hot tup/pool area is open 24 hours. It's on the corner of Ball and Harbor.

Your mom must love you or something, lol.

I haven't stayed there. Know where it is though. I drive by every day, lol.

If I pass by you in the Park on Sunday I'll wave hello :wave2:

My mom gave me my birthday present early! It's the Classic Hobo It's A Small World LeSportSac bag!

THANKS MOM!
Super cute!! What a great mom you have. :thumbsup2

If a day is planned to go to Sea World, count me in. I have never been and I would love to go.
OKay, keep checking back. So far we're just tossing out ideas. I'd love to go to Sea World, but I'd love the beach or Hotel Del Coronado, too. I'm easy! ;)

Oh Sara LOVE that bag. I am so anxious to go in a few weeks and see all the fun new stuff!! I might have to get me one of those bags. TOO cute!!

Welcome, Rose. I think you'll have a great time with this wonderful group.

For those who expressed interest in the off-site day...Linda, Mel, Chris, Katie, Pam, Theresa, (who am I missing?), what do y'all think about Sea World? :confused3
I love it there and have always wanted to "Dine with Shamu". That would be a fun thing to do. Do they even still do that?? I'm not riding that new roller coaster though!! :scared1:

Then again, maybe everyone is thinking something more laid back... hang out at the beach, shop, eat... Balboa Island is a cute place.

Well, I'm just thinking aloud here. :goodvibes I love Disney, but I'm getting excited about doing something new and different with some of the Divas! :cool1:

Ah, darn. I work on Saturdays and won't be able to join you for off site fun that day. I haven't been to Sea World for awhile and it would be fun to go with you all. I would like to Dine with Shamu. :sad1: So sorry.

 What? Noooo!!! :sad1: It's a long ways off.....can you call in sick? :rolleyes1 I'll write you a note.

Saturday was just sort of the default day so it didn't interfere with the hunt on Friday. :guilty:

OKay, we posted basically the same thing at the exact same time.

:thumbsup2 :rotfl2: I notice no one is arguing the fact..... ;)

Chatty, chatty, chatty popcorn::

Well I do not remember who nabbed Jessica, but I guess that means she is not available for rooming with Holly and I :rotfl: I sent her an email yesterday, but haven't heard back. Oh well! :goodvibes

Lisa~ If you want to do that split, you can join Holly and I :)

I just made the most delicious paleo lasagna. Instead of noodles I used zucchini sliced with a mandoline. Nomnomnom!

YUM!

I hope the weather is nice since I just ordered this outfit for the Meet and Greet

redneck.jpg

And since Capri always likes to have a beer close by, I ordered this one for her.

redneck2.jpg

bwahahahahahahahaha :lmao::thumbsup2

Well, I do some good cake balls.:thumbsup2
My Bday will be 2/15 so just about 2 weeks prior.
Mascatta sp? Is such a yummy wine. Maybe I will have to bring some? The only fried oreo I have had is at Serendipity. I haven't had the fried twinkies before. By the time I come to the trip, I should have lost a lot of weight and plan to enjoy on vacation.

You must mean Moscato :) or Muscat, both sweet and similar but still slightly different. I'll bring some Moscato!

The kind that's made from grapes?

I've never done Fremont St. No one I've ever gone to Vegas with would go with me. Beth, will you go with me on October 29th if I stay an extra night? LOL

LOL I meant, red, white, blush, merlot, cab, chard, LOL Smarty pants! ;)
I've been to Fremont Street twice, I took my Mom in April, she loved it! LOL I got myself a piece of rice bracelet, it has my name and Micah's on it.

Well here goes nothing . I figure maybe it's time I introduce myself and chime in to possibly join all you wonderful ladies in the coming year!

I'm Rose , I am turning 34 in July and have been married just under 2 years to my husband - no kids just 2 furbabies that keep me occupied ! I love all things Disney and being an AP holder now and never having the chance to do a trip like this before I think it would be great fun and to connect with new people !

I live in the Bay Area of California and hope I can start reading more threads and keeping up with the goings on here. I currently work for a hotel so discounts are no problem on my side , lol. No telling what will happen with the next year but time will tell. Talk to everyone soon :) :thumbsup2

Welcome Rose!!

I can't wait to use it this weekend at Disneyland. DBF and I will be there Sunday and Monday.

 it!!! I got myself the Kasey in the Tahitian pattern too, we will sort of match. :)

My stripper name is Diablo......... :confused3:rotfl:

Can't it be tomorrow now?? PLEASE!!!! I really am ready for the week to be over.....

I love Sea World, but I really, really , really want to go to soda fountain, theatre place. My family will never go there with me! I always love the beach too!

I just checked and she said I was "Building 1, facing the highway".

THANKS MOM!

.

Seriously, you are one lucky ducky! Thanks for modeling that, so I can see size in proportion and how it fits. I like that one!

And Theresa, you are so right! I have too many trips in the works, and I am loving it! My husband has even caught the fever. As a matter of fact, Harrah's Total Rewards club just offered us another free cruise certificate and this time Alaska is on it, out of Seattle! I just booked his trip to Vegas to collect the certificate. (That is basically $2000 off the price of the cruise!!) Crazy excited about that since we have always planned on doing an Alaska Cruise with our boys before they leave home. Now it will be prior to July 2013.:thumbsup2 We may have to give up our Nov. 2013 Hawaiin vacation now. Maybe it was meant to be, because I have an ongoing search for Aulanni in RCI, and maybe they will start depositing weeks by 2014 and we will get one and go then! Crud, do they sell calendars for 2014 yet?? Other than that, I just need to squeeze my little girl trips in to DL, and one 5 night family trip before the end of 2013. WooHoo!

I just hate that work and school and money get in the way of all my fun!

Whew! That's a lot going on. lol What is this cruise certificate? He has to fly down to pick it up? How do you earn those?

I just realized today is May 31st! That means....drum roll please.....only 5 more months until Halloween!!
PumpkinFunnyFaceSmile.gif

And even less time until our annual Halloween exchange. :thumbsup2 (for anyone new here wondering why the crazy lady is counting down to Halloween, it's like Christmas to me in terms of holidays)

I briefly thought the other day about doing a summer exchange, but last year that didn't really work out. :rotfl: Not enough interest.

That's what I'm talkin' 'bout! Thanks Angie! I could use a new one of those. My old one is almost worn out. :cool2:

I may be interested, depending on what is planned....and how early I would have to get up - haha! :goodvibes

Otherwise I may just sleep in a little, stroll around the parks leisurely, have a nice lunch, maybe a glass of wine, visit...just having a fun and relaxing kind of day with the girls. :thumbsup2

I just checked and she said I was "Building 1, facing the highway".

That's where I'll be. I thought about doing the Disney view but decided against it .... guess I just wasn't in the mood to spend the extra money .... but it really wasn't that much more. But it does mean I'll have just that much more to spend on other things. :cool1:

That's the rough side of the tracks. Me, Katie, Kerri, Wendy, and Tammy are on that side as well. You'll all fit right in. :smokin:

Cute! Nice momma!

Oh, and I meant that Manta looks awesome. Yes. So much fun. Intense speed, huge drops, high banking twists and turns.... That's just...super. :rolleyes1

I don't think there's huge drops on it. Beth ---->

Whew! That's a lot going on. lol What is this cruise certificate? He has to fly down to pick it up? How do you earn those?

Our second trip to Vegas, when staying at The Paris, we signed up for total rewards, the player club for Harrahs. (this was 11 years ago!) We happened to get a few good runs on slot machines, which makes you look like a big time gambler. Anyhow, the offers started coming then, and we have never paid for a room since, and most of our meals end up being comped too. Then they started sending all these other offers with the free room. Shopping trips, shows, cruises (norwegian cruise line, which is owned by the same company). We were booked on a free cruise (which cost us $1000, in reality by the time you pay taxes and for the rotten kids to come), but we just cancelled it as we needed to get back home for showband, work etc. So the offers are emailed and also listed attached to your online account. They just sent us the cruise offer and we were shocked to see Alaska listed as a cruise destination. Normally it is the less expensive cruises. But if you have looked at pricing on Alaska Cruises lately, you know they are expensive. I just priced it and it would be $4000 more or less for us to take our family on that cruise. The voucher will make it be $2000!! I told my husband he had to go get it! And we game the system. We do all of our gambling through his player card, and basically no gambling through mine. So I actually only get a free couple of nights stay midweek at the lower level casinos like Flamingo or Bally's, never The Paris. And not much else is offered to me. But that's ok by me. We are not big gamblers at all. Honestly we have been super lucky and played a lot on the casino's money.

You are very welcome my darling daughter!!!!!!
I got myself an early birthday present too.
I like the fact that it's light weight and the pouch is a good size.

My biggest issue is that I can't decide between the two patterns. They are both super cute.

:lmao: I love how that sounds... no jello "this time". :rotfl: Does that mean your jello wrestling days are over, Sierra? :rolleyes1

Sierra?? Who is that?????

Oh, cool, good to know. It just always seemed like a neat thing to do. Probably costs an arm and a leg.

Right now they are only on the LeSportSac website but in late June they will be on disneyshopping.com. I read that they will not be sold in the parks.

:rotfl2: Sorry, it's been Stacie's since '09. You'll have to find your own. ;)

Oh ya, mine also has the pouch. Perfect for my trader pins. :thumbsup2

My biggest issue is that I can't decide between the two patterns. They are both super cute.

I think they both look so much nicer in person.

Also they will be releasing more prints in the next few months.

My mom ordered them the evening of May 24th and they were delivered via UPS yesterday so not bad considering the holiday. She only did the lowest shipping which was UPS ground for $5.00. They had 2 other (faster) shipping options too.

I want it to be tomorrow too, Kerri. Hurry up day, pretty please.

:thumbsup2

Does that mean you are the devil??

I want this week to be over as well. It's been a stressful one. :sad2:
