Hello ladies!!!! I can't believe it's been over a week since I've posted on here. Just been busy on Facebook, I guess. LOL

Anyway, thank you all so much for all the wishes for a fun trip! That was sweet, and I appreciate it. We did in fact have a great time! I've posted photos on Facebook that I'm sure by now many of you have seen.
I fell in love with our hotel in Ocean Beach. Just the cutest, most perfect little hotel ever! And right on the water.

Disneyland was a lot of fun. A bit crowded on Sunday, and even a little bit on Monday, but nothing too bad. With three days to spend there, we were able to do it all. I even got to see Fantasmic for the first time in a long time.

Anyway, I hope you are all doing well. Did everyone have a nice Mother's Day? Mine was very low key, but still nice.

Well, time to try to catch up a bit...

OK, I finally tried it! Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed. To me, and my family, it tasted like the Minute Maid fruit punch that comes in a carton you can buy for a dollar at Walmart. I was not a fan. Oh well. At least I tried it!

My birthday is July 7th. Yea for July birthdays !

Yes, yay for July birthdays! My twins were born July 9.

I ended up booking a hotel on BookIt.com rather than Hotwire. It was the Radisson Suites Buena Park. I've got pics on Facebook. We've stayed there before and it was really nice. I'll PM you with a link to my photos.

Other than that, things are good here and I found out that my son's dad was forced to choose jail or rehab and chose rehab. I spent a month doing that and now has random drug testing twice a week. If he fails, he goes to jail. Glad to see he is cleaning up (even if it was forced).

I hope everything works out for him.

I saw Beth and her family for a quick minute yesterday. All her kids looked excited about going to Disneyland (even Adam ).

It was good to see you again! Even if only for a few minutes. Laila was so cute! I appreciate you coming out and meeting us there. Thanks again!!!

My life just went from kinda busy with my kid to pretty darn busy! I am now working a bunch of temp jobs here and there and hoping to get put on full-time somewhere so I can start saving for the Diva trip! It's gonna cost me about $600 or so for just the plane tickets, so I need to start saving now!

Good luck with everything. But, it will all be worth it when you are having a blast with the Divas!

This season we're having a banner tick year. Yuck and double yuck. I hate ticks.

Ugh, ticks. When we went to MI one year for vacation, Ruben was bit by a deer tick. He got Lyme disease. Luckily, me being the paranoid person I am, had researched it before we went, so when I saw the bulls eye rash, I knew immediately what it was. He was able to get treatment before his symptoms got too bad. It's nothing to mess around with!

I really would like to live in California one day, but the bugs, snakes and rats that we don't have here scare me a little.

I can handle CA. That's where I grew up. Now Florida? Forget it. No way would I move there. Heat, humidity, tornadoes, hurricanes, alligators, snakes, bugs of all varieties, fire ants, etc. Seems like they have every sort of creepy-crawly imaginable, with horrible weather to boot. (sorry to any Floridians who might see this! lol)

Just got the best present for Mother's Day! I've been entereing the Fry's/Ralph's/Coco-Cola Disney sweepstakes (AZ link here, CA link here) with 3 different emails for myself. Started entering with DD and DH email a couple of days ago and today, DH WON!!! And it's the big prize.

You lucky duck! Always winning something. Too bad there's nothing for NV residents.

I think I am partied out! Kaitlyn's and her best friend's big graduation party was yesterday. Whew, had enough food for 150 people. It is really hard to plan the amount of guests when it is an "open house." Many of the guests had several parties to go to, so they ate at everyone's house. Needless to say, we had plenty of food. Yay....that meant enough leftovers for today!

Sounds like it was a lot of fun! I can't wait to see pics from all these parties you've been having... hint.. hint...

Does anyone watch "The Bachelorette"? What did you think of the first episode last night? I'm counting to see how many times Emily says "Thank you very much" and "I know, right?" LOL

Anyone watch "Dancing with the Stars"? I am so torn between William and Cheryl, Maria and Derek, and Katherine (I hope her back is ok!) and Mark. I like Donald and Peta, but not enough to want them to win.
I think I am hoping it's Maria and Derek.

I don't watch much reality tv, but those two shows, along with Survivor and Amazing Race (both of which just wrapped up) are some of the few I do watch.

Not really. It wasn't horrible, just not what I was hoping for. Didn't taste fresh, or like anything special. It says it's "Merry Cherry Lemonade" but it didn't even really taste like lemonade.
From one of the stands in DCA, I got a frozen lemonade with a shot of raspberry added and that was really good. I thought the punch would taste fresher, maybe more like the cherry lemonade from Hot Dog on a Stick. Which I do happen to like.

Hi ladies!!! I haven't been on for a few days, some of you may have seen my FB post but on Saturday Cami randomly showed up and surprised me for Mother's Day!!!!! That was amazing! I totally cried. So we spent much of Saturday afternoon just hanging out, Sunday we did a big BBQ at our house, Sebastian's family (Cami's DH) came as well so we were filled up! It was great!! Yesterday I went to lunch with them and then we did dinner at Sebastian's Mom's, they have to leave today but Cami keeps saying they are going to stop by to say bye before they go. Josie told me "I love you" last night, sweetest thing to hear ever, and she gets so excited when she sees her PopPop (Micah is PopPop, I'm MomMom), she is simply the cutest little thing!! So it's been busy around here. Tonight I'm going to help my BFF with a movie promo event at the bar, tomorrow I get to go to the dr to get my blood work results and EKG results, I'm sure all will be fine but I'm a tad anxious to know. That's about it for me......

Most embarrassing teaching moment! So last year on my first day working here, I had on a top that had a mesh neck with a swoppy cowl on it. It is very cute. The principal was sitting in my class that day and a student told him she needed to tell me something. I stepped outside with her where she informed me that my bra was showing and I needed to be careful. I thanked her and went back to teaching. Fast forward to today. In my ASL 1 class we got to talking about embarassing moments and I shared my first day moment with them. It was a lesson on letting people know things so they don't further embarrass themselves. Well, the students said, "uh...that's not the story we heard..." It turns out that the former students had been saying that my nipple was hanging out! I responded, "No, that is a rumor, it was just my bra." After class I go let my boss and the secretary know what is being said and he tells me, "Actually, the student's version is right." I turned soooo red! I told him we should just go with my story and he laughed and said we could. OMG I am so mortified!!!

Oh geesh!!! I have had some embarrassing moments myself but you my dear friend...this is a zeowwwwie!!!
