The dr appt went well, all my numbers were good except my "bad" cholesterol and thyroid are a bit high. Like the bad chol number should be under 150 and mine is at 135.....that kind of thing.

Just popping in to say Been on FB but not here much, but wanted to show off my countdown banner for Aulani this weekend! Couldn't let that TA rate pass me by.

Not much else going on (well, besides three graduations and a wedding coming up), just enjoying unemployment again now that tax season is over. We are having early summer here, warmer than I ever remember for May. This Arizona girl is loving it!

It's Friday!!! Yay! Come out and cheer with me!! Anyone have any fun plans?

I realized that we are about 5 months from our October trip. That will be the first time I'll get to see Carsland and I can't wait! Plus it will be Halloweentime in the parks so I'll get to see all those decorations. And, of course the best part will be meeting up with some of the Divas!
If there is anyone else thinking of coming around that time let me know! We have a Facebook planning page I can add you to. No real planning going on right now, but there will be.

I'll be there with Ruben and the kids October 18-21.
Thursday the 18th we are going to Knott's Scary Farm. Hopefully. That part is up in the air for now.
Friday the 19th I am ditching the family and spending most of the day in the parks. I want to check out Carsland and do a group meal somewhere.
Saturday the 20th we're going to Universal. I'm meeting Capri and her family there. Anyone else who wants to can join in!
Sunday the 21st we're going home.

Anyway, hopefully we'll have a pretty decent sized mini-meet going!

Morning! We are going in October too, but the 12-14th for our anniversary. I wish we could be there the same time as you all, but the following weekend is typically Homecoming here at work.

Speaking of work - if gas prices don't drop soon, I may have to quit just out of necessity! Today I saw $4.19 for unleaded at Arco I told Earl that if it gets closer to $5 I cannot afford the drive. Right now it costs about $80 to fill up and I use more than a tank a week

Yeah! That is so exciting...my sister is a travel agent and I always see her sweet deals, and am so envious...

I do benefit from the relationship but it would be better if they were my own benefits! My husband forbids me to be a travel agent right now though. He knows me too well!

Beth, I am so glad I didn't try to meet up with you last weekend. I was pretty miserable from the smoke this trip for some reason. I think it was extra crowded. Sort of sad from my perspective, but good for the casino I guess, but The Paris has sort of rejuvenated itself and has loud music and younger crowd hangin out. I did hit a nice jack pot while I was there, which never happens to me, so that was pretty cool!

Are there any deals on Universal in October? Can you use the Florida tickets in California? I would love to make a quick trip with my youngest but given our giant trip in August am not sure if I can get a way with it!

PS I am planning on coming to the ladies trip this year for sure! I have free airfare already and dang it, I will make it work with the kids one way or the other!!!!

My life continues to have it's ups and downs, but it's just like a roller coaster, so that makes it fun, right???

Can it be 5 already.......and can my company stop jerking me around and tell me if they are going to close this branch so I can start looking for a new job in good conscience? I'm really getting annoyed, all signs point to them closing us down (or opening a new facility an hour away, which at my current rate isn't budget friendly due to gas prices) in the next 4-8 weeks, if they would just tell me I could start looking! So annoying........

We're all over on Facebook. LOL HOORAY FOR FRIDAY, but BOO that the weather is going to be almost 10 degrees warmer here on Sunday. Why is it when Mr Wonderful is home to help me do some stuff I can't do by myself it's too hot and he won't do it? Ugh.

My October trip to DL is now up in the air. I do have the Retro room booked at HoJo and the plan is to fly down the morning of the 19th and home the night of the 20th. If I don't get picked for the Cars Land preview deal in June, then I'll keep the October trip on the calendar. But with a trip at the end of July to see my friend at DL, my WDW trip in November and then our (newly scheduled) trip to Vegas in October, we'll see if the budget allows for an added trip to Disney. My guess is no.

The 3 day park hoppers are going up $36, so the $70 increase on my Deluxe is still cheaper than the increase to two park hoppers. That's my justification in a nutshell. LOL
