Yes, August was a fertile month for me, yes sirre! Thankfully I am no longer married to the boys' father.

Well, tomorrow is the big day...don't know if we will be getting out to do much sightseeing....to many tv shows to catch!!

I like going to Bay Sushi in Fairfield (by the mall, that's the place that was closed) or Hisui in VV, in Davis I love Mikuni and in fact, I'm having my birthday dinner there prior to going out and partying the night away at the Grad. LOL You're more than welcome to join us, just let me know.

So the hubs gave me the thumbs up to go to Hawaii this summer for a few days to see one of my best friends who lives on Oahu. Free place to stay? Yes please! I have never been so I am uber excited!!!

People who talk like that to their kids or in regards to their kids should be b^*&$ slapped......LOL

My lesson went well last night, I tried a new method, instead of breaking it so much I just kept adding on and adding on and adding on....it seemed to be effective. I wore my Daisy Dukes......they seemed to be popular.....LOL As I left the house Micah was following me, I said "you can go with me if you want", he said "no, I'm good, just watching you leave......" LOL Then a few of the regulars were complimenting me as well so the shorts are good, which is nice because its going to be HOT this year.....lol

Dropping in. I got home from the Bay Area last night and after the half marathon, sitting in my car for 6 hours, and then work this morning, I am refusing to get out of bed until I have to go back to work on Thursday. My body smarts a little bit, lol.

Hi guys! Hope all is well. Only 3 weeks left of school and I think I'm more excited than my daughter. Spent the weekend in Reno and won some money, unfortunately not enough to not show up to work on Monday.

Trudi - I'm right there with you. My disney trip is coming up soon and I just can't wait to be back in the land.

Jen - Hawaii and Disneyland this summer, so jealous. You'll have a blast.

Jessica - Did you have a good time at the run? I think you totally deserve to rest in bed because it sounded like a very, very busy weekend.

Bridget - What are the stops going to be on the cruise you and Lisa are taking? St. Petersburg will be very exciting to see.

Trudi and Andrea I am with you except for me I think Splash or GRR since it is SO flippin hot here already LOL.

My girls have a month from Fri till school gets out. Sometimes it seems hard to believe that the year is already almost over and there is a LOT going on between now and when school gets out yet I am afraid it is going to drag because like Jodi I can't WAIT for it to be done! The really crazy part too is they are getting out a day LATER this year than last and it is a monday of all things. They have always gotten out on a Friday and it was a minimum day. Well THIS year they started earlier and are getting out later. CRAZY. I seriously doubt there will be that many kids that come BACK after the weekend for a min day LOL. It is shelby's last year at her school so I think she will go just for the nostalgia but I don't know if Katy is going to go she is saying she wants to go to shelby's school with me (I always volunteer on the last day).

Anywho hope everyone has a great day and stays cool!!

So......pretty sure I've picked the dates for Cassidy and my trip.....July 7-11, that puts me taking 3 days off work and gives us the best stay for our points. I looked at July 5-9, it was 2100 points, July 6-10, it was 1800 points, July 7-11 is 1350 points, so I'll see about booking that after I talk to her tonight. Excited!!!!!!! I've got the money for 1 ticket and most of the money for the 2nd one, I'll probably upgrade to AP's, at least for me......and now I'm thinking of taking Jade as well. But I wanted it to be a trip just the 2 of us so I don't know.....lol I'm so indecisive. lol But I'm excited that it's coming together for me! this week started with nothing much to do but man, it got busy......I'm totally booked the rest of the week! lol

The DL half + long drive to NorCal= PAIN! I did it in 2010 and bodies do not appear to be cramped in a car right after a race. Feel better!

Most embarrassing teaching moment! So last year on my first day working here, I had on a top that had a mesh neck with a swoppy cowl on it. It is very cute. The principal was sitting in my class that day and a student told him she needed to tell me something. I stepped outside with her where she informed me that my bra was showing and I needed to be careful. I thanked her and went back to teaching. Fast forward to today. In my ASL 1 class we got to talking about embarassing moments and I shared my first day moment with them. It was a lesson on letting people know things so they don't further embarrass themselves. Well, the students said, "uh...that's not the story we heard..." It turns out that the former students had been saying that my nipple was hanging out! I responded, "No, that is a rumor, it was just my bra." After class I go let my boss and the secretary know what is being said and he tells me, "Actually, the student's version is right." I turned soooo red! I told him we should just go with my story and he laughed and said we could. OMG I am so mortified!!!

I did see something that just shocked me yesterday (and that's pretty hard to do), but this little girl was walking and didn't want to sit in her stroller and the dad yelled out "Get in the F'ing stroller you little B*@ch!"

My jaw just hit the ground and these 2 ladies that were walking next to me literally gasped out loud. I understand people get tired and stressed sometimes, but that was totally out of line. Poor little girl to have such a douche for a father .

My mom, sons, and I are headed to the Rivercats game tonight. It is youth baseball/softball night so all the kids come in their uniforms and get to walk the baseball diamond. Hopefully, it is not too hot

I've got too much going on right now...my life is insane.....LOL Seriously, it's crazy. Micah got a job offer, making a little over 30% more per year......he turned in notice at his current job today.......

My life just went from kinda busy with my kid to pretty darn busy! I am now working a bunch of temp jobs here and there and hoping to get put on full-time somewhere so I can start saving for the Diva trip! It's gonna cost me about $600 or so for just the plane tickets, so I need to start saving now!
