You know Mike & I looked.....Seriously looked......the bottom line that kept us from going was the cost of living down there. If you can find roommates, I think you'd do ok.......but you need to really write it all out to figure out financially if it would work out. Working at DL is still a dream of mine & Mike's....but unfortunately, it will probably always be just that. (unless everyone in the Orange & LA Counties decide to move out.....lol)

Well, the job offer had the contingency of passing a physical, which is bad for a couple of reasons. So we shall see what happens.

Yes, getting older sucks. I suppose if my elbow isn't better after the trip I should get it looked at. I just hate going to the doctor. Nothing but bad news.
I hope it doesn't interfere with my trip, going on rides, helping decorate for the meet and greet, etc. I'll have to lube it up with some Ben-Gay. Then I'll smell ever so pretty. If anyone has a stuffy nose, come stand near me, that stuff will clear your sinuses real quick.

Move to Florida and work at WDW. About 7 years ago, I looked into the cost of living in FL and it was pretty cheap. And you have four parks to choose from. I'd love to work at Epcot or Animal Kingdom.
Just don't pay any attention to the heat, the humidity, the thunderstorms, the hurricanes, the alligators, the snakes, and the other various creepy, crawly creatures. You should be fine!

I'll go with you. We can be roomies (along with my hubby and boys - hope you like male mayhem). I promise to tame my partying ways, a little maybe. I want to get a job as a YES class instructor. At least it would be a job in teaching, which I can't seem to get here in Spokane. I'm still young too, right?

Right now, in front of my house, I have a 40' trailer with 4 - 42" Flat Screen TV's, each with an Xbox hooked up for 16 teenagers to game their little hearts out for three hours!! A new company started up in our city called Rolling Video Games - up to 16 players can play together! Rumble seats and surround sounds - a teenage boys dream!!

Think I will sit in the house away from the noise!!

We have a few company's around town that do that. I see the trucks here & there. Kallie's school fundraiser had a bonus, that you get to go to the "game truck" for selling a certain # of magazines. She said it was fun, but they were limited to 30 min since there were other kids. Sounds like your party was a hit

Ok, part of me isn't so excited that we're so close. I strained a muscle in my hip and anytime I spend a long period of time on my feet I can barely move. I'm hoping if I rest it enough I'll be fine for the trip if I take it easy but I'm starting to think I'll be sitting down for most of this trip! At least I'm not actually doing the Scavvy Hunt this year, lol.
