Right now, in front of my house, I have a 40' trailer with 4 - 42" Flat Screen TV's, each with an Xbox hooked up for 16 teenagers to game their little hearts out for three hours!! A new company started up in our city called Rolling Video Games - up to 16 players can play together! Rumble seats and surround sounds - a teenage boys dream!!
Similar company started up in Twin Cities, I don't think its the same name though... I entered a contest to win through a local free paper... booo.. didn't win.
We have enough gaming stuff, our small apartment becomes teenage boy central nearly every weekend. Poor hubby has to dialyze surrounded by game crash, zap, rumble noises and stinky teen boys
peeeeewwww.
I go hide in my bedroom with the door shut, my cat (female) hangs out with me and keeps my toes warm while we watch girly stuff like "say yes to the dress" and crappy made for TV romantic movies.
I don;t know if the code expired at the end of 2011, but try this code for super shuttle: UYR59. It's a Travelocity code. Retailmenot is still showing it as an active code. It's for $3 off each way.
It still works! I love finding codes to make everything cheaper! I tried to see if I could gt a lil extra in any of the point programs, nope.
Air miles, but that is not much use to me.
It looks like I can now add a 6th trip to
Disneyland to my year! The DH and I decided to go for our anniversary weekend October 12-14. I will miss you ladies by a week, but we need some time alone and he was the one that suggested DL!
Awww, sounds like you have a very sweet hubby.
I had fun shopping at the grocery store on Saturday, 10 doubles.. woohoo! Yep, I live a pretty boring life. It's exciting to see how low I can get - who needs drugs? Just use coupons for a natural high (cheaper too).
My sister brought over some treats to sample. She is making cupcakes and mini cheesecakes for my parent's 50th anniversary party. (I didn't know my parent's church planned a big party, it's on the 25th-- you know, while I'm with all of you lovely divas.

Mom didn't tell me until January, after I already had my tickets..

bad daughter...) We devoured every single one in just two days.. mmmmm, mmm, ahhhhhh sweet lovely sugar coma.
One is a brownie with a triple layer topping of fudge, marshmallow and chocolate ganache . It has Godiva chocolate liqueur in the batter.
She said she will call them "OMG brownies", we teased her back and said they should be the "Big O brownies" :

: Surprisingly not sickly overly sweet, just a lot of nice flavors meshing together.
And for the non-chocolate lovers (is that possible??? allergies aside) coconut cupcakes. MMmm, a nice light bit of sweet.
She had made several variations on each type to tinker with the recipes, she was glad to share this batch with us.
We heard the menu the church planned: chicken (breaded in crackers? or something equally not good for you), green bean casserole (ugh), potato salad, and rolls.
Okay, who planned this out?
Way too much salty, carb filled, fatty foods. My dad is diabetic and has congestive heart failure, he shouldn't eat any of this.
So glad I'm not going, I would be
starving (except for all the yummy cupcakes of course

mmmmmm).
