I am in Dublin , CA so smack in the middle of the Bay Area and I work in Pleasanton.

My fur babies are my kitties Guinness and Corona - before I get asked I am not completely to blame for the names hehe. Corona was adopted by me from a co worker who already gave her the name. I rescued Guinness from outside my old apartment complex in sub zero weather in winter in Washington State and my ex was irish so I joked I could name her Guinness to match Corona, it stuck

Oh, it's hot today......we moved yesterday into our new building, it doesn't have ANY type of office space tho so I'm sitting IN the warehouse....it's really annoying to be honest. lol No a/c, and when it's 90 outside it's 100 in here.....I need a clip fan to put on top of my computer monitor so it blows right in my face.......

Nope, not everryone, sometimes it just seens that way. I can honestly say I have never seen a drunk Diva!
I stick to water or ice tea mostly.
Love the kitty pics. I am a cat person too.
It's about 100 degrees here today. Not too bad.

Hope ya'll have a great weekend. I'll be driving right by the parks tomorrow on my way to a Memorial Service so after I'm going to stop in to see a bit of the Mad Tea Party .

I just saw Thunder Down Under last week with the girls from work and it was very cheesy, Chippendales were much better.

Even if I don't get to sleep in (since I for sure know ONE of my roommates gets up at dawn everyday), it will still be nice to just have a relaxing day at the parks and DTD. No rushing around, no schedule to keep. Ahhhhhh...

So sleep in and then come join us off-site! I am thinking Sea World might be a bit much. Like someone else said, it would mean buying another theme park ticket. And it's a bit of a drive.
I know there is some interest in the Disney Soda Fountain. I've been. Not sure I want to go again.

I personally think I will head to Newport Beach. That's what I initially had in mind. I like the area. It's nice. Laid back. Cute shops. There's Balboa Island with a Ruby's Diner at the end of the pier. We can walk, shop, eat, drink. And it's not that far from DL either.


We don't all have to do the same thing. If there's a group that wants to go to Hollywood/Disney Soda Fountain we can split up. Or the group that wants to go to Hollywood can leave the beach early and go do their thing. Lots of options. But I love the beach, so if anyone wants to join me there, let me know!

Also wanted to share some exciting news. I was offered a new job!! More money, hours and benefits. I made sure to give my dates off though. I go today to talk start time and do paper work. Now to give notice at my current pt job. That may not go over so well but not my problem anymore.

Oh and Beth, do tell us how you like the movie. I can't wait to go Sunday!!

The movie was good. I loved the scenery! So pretty. The special effects were great, not too over the top. Lots of action. Charlize Theron killed it as the Queen. Great job. Kristen Stewart? Meh, I am not a fan. Bad casting if you ask me. Overall, great movie. Worst part imo? The ending! Just ends suddenly. Not satisfying at all. But, still worth seeing.

I ate way too much popcorn... But, movie theater popcorn is the best.

I was absolutely sweltering last night in the hotel. Full suit with a scarf in 90 degree weather and over 200 people in the lobby/meeting space..It was insane.

Kitties! I'm going to be in Dublin tomorrow playing Soldier. Just got my TA-50 packed and am heading to Chico in about 3 hours. It's going to be a very quick trip, but I should be able to fire some weapons. So if we accidentally shoot your house you have my apologies. I only wish we were going to be doing it with these guys.

Rose, the kitties are cute. Another cat lover here. I so miss my boys, lost them just about 2+ years now. My roommate has one and he's a big boy at 19lbs after losing a few lbs. too.

A day doing some Mexican fare is always good with me. I am open to what ever though.

I'm sorry of your loss , I know how hard it is losing those of our family we love so much ! If it were up to me I would have a houseful of kitties , stupid apartment rules limit of two. It doesn't help DH has to stop by the animal shelter down the road weekly to do IT rounds and always takes photos of the new kittens ><

-I love the Sea World idea. I have never been. Might have to talk that one over with my hubby though, as he has never done it either, and he might get jealous that I am seeing something he hasn't.

-Those kitties are so cute. I love kitties. I don't have any of my own at the moment. My brother has mine, as we once lived in a place where I couldn't have her, and now he doesn't want to give her back. I still get to see her, so it's all good.

I was born in Traverse City, MI. but grew up in SoCal. My mom, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, are all back in Michigan though. I'm hoping to go back to Traverse City this summer to visit them.
