Also wanted to share some exciting news. I was offered a new job!! More money, hours and benefits. I made sure to give my dates off though. I go today to talk start time and do paper work. Now to give notice at my current pt job. That may not go over so well but not my problem anymore.

This is so what I expected. We saw the trailer during the Avengers marathon (14 hours in the movie theater, I am such a massive nerd). We discussed the crappy casting right before it came up and the guy next to me said "She was crap in Twilight, but maybe it was just the material and she'll step it up in a better movie". After the trailer we all looked at each other and laughed, so much for stepping it up.

I didn't mind KS as Snow White, but that's probably because I haven't seen any of the Twilight movies so I had not preconceived opinions about her.

We saw Mirror, Mirror on Monday, what a difference! That one was definitely not as dark as this one.

I have watched all the Twilight movies, read all the books, but I just do not like her as an actress. She's not the worst ever, but I just think they could've found someone better.

I will say she did have better material to work with in this movie than in Twilight, but she still wasn't doing it for me.

I agree! I was thinking how different the two movies are. I definitely prefer this one. Mirror Mirror was cute for my kids, but I like this darker version.

Methinks it is going to be a really large and fun gathering this year!!

I actually just booked at the Courtyard by Marriott Anaheim. I wanted to at least secure a rate for myself just in case I can't do better elsewhere

Where in Michigan?
I was born in Traverse City, MI. but grew up in SoCal. My mom, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, are all back in Michigan though. I'm hoping to go back to Traverse City this summer to visit them.

Hi there Momma I lived in Redford Michigan from 2002 - 2007 . I miss the snow and winters ( yes i'm crazy , hah!) Michigan was a great state , it's a shame the economy there is doing so poorly due to the auto industry. I still left a piece of my heart there.

Awww Jodi - you need to come!! It is Lisa's busy season too. She is just going to fly down in time for M&G and either go back late Sat or early Sun. Why don't you look into it? Rooms are cheap at the HoJo's. In fact, we did the premium room there - you could come join us! Have fun at DL!

Yeah for booking - is the Courtyard cheaper than HoJo's? If not, you should switch to be with the group. Think we are going to take over Bldg 1!

Today starts our busy season - first picnic of the year! (For the newbies, my DH and I own a corporate event planning business doing company picnics and holiday parties!). It will be a crazy summer!
