I wish I could have left earlier to catch the mini meet! We leave in the morning and will be there until Friday. I can't wait. I'm not even packed yet of course.

How crowded was it? I am worried about the Utah break and hoping it will lighten up by Monday which will be our first day in the parks.

It was pretty crowded. Not bad in the morning. If you get there early you can get a lot done. Use fast pass. As it gets later in the day, it really gets crowded. After dinner it was pretty crazy.

Go on Haunted Mansion as early in the day as you can. Around 10am it was only 20min wait. In th evening, it was over an hour. And they were packing us in there tight. So my advice, if you don't ride it early, get a FP as early as you can and use it later.

Thanks for the feedback! I love the HM overlay so we will be sure to hit that early. I am more of a morning girl anyways when it comes to the parks. I'd rather be there at rope drop and get more done in the early hours then fight the crowds in the evenings.

I just got home a few minutes ago from the mini meet, gosh it was great to see everyone. It was a lot of fun! Stacerita, thank you so much for posting the pix! The unidentified girl in the photo between me and Beth is my DD Brianne the CM . We had a great time. The parks are packed, way too many people. Took the Halloween Tour tonight and although we thought they should have been more prepared for the GINORMOUS crowds, it was cute and fun. I will post more later, but just wanted to check in and say what a total sweetheart Beth is and that I can't wait for March!!!

The restaurant was nice. Way too cold inside though. And when we asked about the possiblity of turning off the fan above us, the CM kinda was snotty about it and just brushed us off. I know we were a large group, but I think the service could have been a bit better. Maybe the other tables felt differently, but I was in the corner and felt a bit ignored by the servers. The food itself was good. I shared with my mother. We had the house salads with the candied pecans and goat cheese. Very good. And we also got the monte cristo. Which was very yummy. We were so glad we shared. It would have been to much for one person. Wendy and Mel sat with us and they got bingets. They looked good. If I go back, I will definately get some of those. Over all we had a great time.

I agree about the service and it being way too cold in there. It took them 30 minutes to take our order and bring drinks. But then the food came in about ten minutes after that. And it was fresh and hot. We shared a MC too, but instead of getting the healthy salads, we shared an onion soup and pomme frites (garlic french fries). Everything was delicious. Our server never really smiled but it was super crowded and at least we got to be together in the same room (I like it outside so much better). Plus with the large group she knew she was getting an 18% gratuity.

I agreed that the server never smiled. And it bothers me when I get so so service knowing that gratuity is automatically added. And I think it might have been nice to be outside. I might try it again but with a smaller group.

I had such a nice time Friday night. Wendy, (really 23 years old) Stacie and her mom Christy were so nice, and it was fun sitting at their table. I thought it was just plain nice to be there, and meet everyone again. And to meet new faces too!!!

I thought DL was busier than it was in April for our last meet. What about the rest of you?

Oh, and Stacie...........the picture of me outside looks like I'm mad. I really wasn't. And Callie looks like she has a cigarette hanging out of her mouth!! Sorry Callie..........................but it does kind of look like that. Oh and would you guys believe that she, and some of the ladies got Dream Passes again on Saturday. And how they got them was some big time planning on their parts!!!

The Halloween party was alot of fun.......................but my 2 grandsons fell asleep way too soon. They missed so much to do. I wish they could start it sooner, but I understand how it would be hard to do. I loved seeing all of the cute costumes.

Well I'm kind of tired.

I'm officially a Disney addict. Today I entered my last 3 needed codes for my son's present. It cost 3800 reward points. We got him the Lightening McQueen TV/DVD Combo. I think we timed it so that he'll get it in time for Christmas. He's moving to his big boy bed around that time too. I'm trying to find a reasonably priced car bed for him right now. I've rambled on too much. Time for me to get some sleep.

I will say you weren't mad at all. So don't worry about the pic if you think it made you look mad. And I have to agree. It was much more crowded than when we went in April.

Hi ladies! Finally back home in Phoenix.

Thanks for posting the pics Stacie! Geesh, I told ya not to take a picture of me with a doobie hangin outta my mouth! Seriously, it was a tootsie pop that I had just finished -- lookin lovely with that in my mouth and a water bottle between my legs so I could have hands free to try to call Linda and Bri to find out where they were (turns out they were stuck on Pirates!)

Mel, I agree it was more crowded than April (and I honestly didn't think that was even possible). It was the most crowded I have EVER EVER seen DLR, and hot too, and I can say I won't be going back any time soon. Not that I didn't have a good time, but as I've said before, the crowds and heat just wear me out. Thank goodness Cheryl let us stay with her at the PPH so we could have Magical Morning priveleges on Saturday or else I never would have found my happy place. Saturday morning was gorgeous weather and low crowds until around 10 am, and we had a ball stalking the Dream Team with Beth. I'll let Beth share more about that experience when she checks in, but I do have to say that our Beth is a star actress in the making.

Wendy joined us for the rest of the day on Saturday as we mostly hung out in DCA cause DL was just too packed. Wendy, I really enjoyed spending time with you and glad you felt comfortable enough to hang around with us crazies!

I stood up my boyfriend on at the Shoe and took a much needed nap at the hotel instead so I could spend the last few hours at DL rested. I enjoyed the evening alone while the rest of the gals went on the Halloween Tour. I had the best time eating a Dole Whip while watching the Swing Dance Party at Carnation Gardens. What fun, and something I would never get to do with my family in tow. I ended up heading back to my family early instead of staying at the hotel on Sat night. There was no MM on Sunday, so I wasn't going to stick around. Cheryl and I both left at the same time (she had to work today).

Hope everyone else got home safe and sound and nobody caught any nasty Disney bugs (as I hear my dd coughing from her bedroom). I'm off to do more of this before bed.

Glad to hear that everyone had fun... Beth, I am dying to hear the story behind the DFPs!!!

We are headed out in 12 days and from what I am hearing and reading, DFPs are going to be a necessity to battle the crowds during Halloween weekend because I seriously think that at least half of the state of NV will be in Anaheim. I don't normally mind the crowds and we have a few FPs leftover from previous DFPs that I plan to take back. But I am gearing up for the battle of the DLR crowds. And, I need all the help I can get to keep DS and DH happy while Momma's in her happy place!

Hello, hello, hello!!! I'm back home! Actually that dancing banana doesn't show how I really feel right now. I need an eyes half closed, feet dragging, exhausted banana. LOL

Just wanted to check in and say hi. I'm glad to see everyone back safe and sound. Back to school, work, and reality tomorrow. Ugh. I just know it's going to be a rough week playing catch up around the house and with the kids missed school work.

Oh well. We had a blast and it was all worth it.

The parks were packed!! What a zoo! But I am so glad I got to meet you and Brianne. You were both so nice and I'm even more excited for March now!

I'm sorry the CM was snotty to you. That sucks. I was so busy yakking the whole time I didn't even notice the servers much. I talk too much....

I'm glad you liked the food though. I think I could make a meal out of the Pomme Frites and the Beignets and skip everything else. Those were so good.
