After lurking for quite some time...I think I am in.
Its just a few days after my birthday that the trip takes place, so what a perfect present for me!!

If I can figure out the room cost, ticket cost and plane tickets, I am so there!!
I might opt for an AP since I am taking the kids in August.

I would get there probably late evening on Thursday or early Friday morning.

Thank you girls. I'm at such a loss right now. I don't even feel real, if that makes any sense at all. I just don't know what to do with myself. I've already cleaned the house this morning and now I have to find something to do with myself before I go into work. I don't like sitting here with my thoughts. I'm just so sad.

The list is on the front page, first post of who's going. Basically some people are only coming for the dinner and some rides afterwards, some are making a whole day or even a whole weekend out of it.

I'll be there with my family so I'll be with them during the day, but I plan to be at Cafe Orleans around 5:15 to check in and meet with everyone. Then hang out for a few hours after for some rides and what not.

I'm leaving this Sunday morning though, so if you think you can make it just let me know before then so I can PM you the cell phone list so you can keep in touch with us. I hope you can make it!!

LOL Yeah, who doesn't love pizza and drinks?? You gotta eat and you gotta drink so.......why not?

OKay, as for the tour, I don't think anyone signed up to do it has done it before but I found this article on it. It's old, but I bet some of the info is still current enough to give you an idea of what to expect. If you'd like I can add your name to the sign up list. Just let me know.
Oh, and I think we discussed doing that tour on Sunday morning.

Just a quick update on the conference room for our Meet and Greet on Thrusday. I did email Lorealle and she got back to me saying that the room was reserved for that day already. BUT she thinks they only need it during the day, so she was going to look into that and let me know once she finds out.

So for now, we'll just wait to hear from her, and then if it's booked at night too then we can start thinking of a plan B.

I didn't vote for Minnie's, even though I really like it, because we had a number of ladies last year who didn't have passes for the park on Saturday due to annual passes that were blacked out on Saturdays, and if we had eaten in the park, they wouldn't have joined us.

That's very thoughtful of you, Michelle. I hadn't even taken that into consideration. Hmmm, I'll be blocked out too, I'm probably going to upgrade my pass before it expires next year.

In March for the next trip there are no black out days for those with the Deluxe pass. So no one who has that pass has to worry about having to buy the one day pass if they don't want to.


Cristabel, it appears that Chip and Dale's is still winning but not by much. I won't be here tomorrow when the poll closes so if you are around then you can make the announcement when it's officially closed and who won. Thanks!!

Hello ladies!!!!!!!!!!

I hope you all have a great weekend. I've got to get packing. I haven't done a thing and we are supposed to leave tomorrow morning!!


I'm not sure how much I'll be on while we are away, and we'll be gone Sunday to Sunday so if we get any newbies I need someone to play welcoming committee for me and make them feel at home. Thanks!!
