Wow, this is EXACTLY what happened in my church at about the same time too! Ever lived in Washington?

No, this happened down here in So Cal. What church did you go to? I attend Calvary Chapel.

How did it all work out?
At my church, Pastor Francisco (the leader of the children's ministry at that time), Pastor Danny (former HS leader), Toni & Ryan (Youth Leaders), Wayne & Valerie (worship leaders), and some other people left. We left after my youth retreat. We ended up becoming very involved in our new church (since the first service) and now my dad is an elder in the church. I, myself, teach pre-k sunday school.

WooHoo Disney store! I almost got to work there once but it wasn't steady enough work so I had to turn it down for Wal-Mart. Not as much fun but they always needed people to work!

And Stacie and Amy have like 20 people rooming with them..... OK not really, but seems like everyone is at least doubling or even tripling up this time.

Which is good. Saves money for other things.

C'mon Beth, 20 would be just silly!!! Of course, it is an even number which is always vital when divying up for LPG'S!!!! You know, Even Stevens and all.

Last year Michelle had an ever rotating population in her room. Cristabel was one night, Stacie and I two....then friends showed. So, closer to the event, we may be able to stagger (Not as in stagger around drunkenly, although that does have it merits) but stagger hotel stays depending how long individuals are coming!!!

Hey, I am not entertaining the idea of coming on the Friday of the October meet....just thinking, haven't even looked at my calendar yet. Shortly after that day I am increasing my hours at work about 30%, so I need some fun before I have less free time?!!?

Hey Cristobel, our youth leader whom we were extremely close to left the church as well as basically all our friends. We still go there, but not often and we are considering switching to the church our youth leader now goes to. It is a lutheran church up in nw washington. It was such a horrible experience!

Ok, so I am a yes for the dole whip margaritas and you all can have Brad Pitt. Deff not my cup a tea! Now, if it was Johnny Depp or Orlando Bloom, well that is something else (can you tell that I really enjoyed the Pirate's movies!) Maybe throw in Sean Connery just for S & G's.

Only 1 more day till I get one day off! I have had to work with a lady I really don't gel too well with for the last 2 days so that was yucky and I am glad it is over! I am looking forward to saturday, but I can't even sleep in as I signed my ds up for swim lessons!

My wonderful news is that I have booked a room. Spoke to Lorealle on the phone and she is just wonderful and she spoke so highly of all of you! I can't wait to meet you and am really looking forward to relaxing and doing DL the Ladies way, Brad Pitt and Dole Whip Margaritas and all...

Hey Cheryl. I've known for a while that the mini-meet weekend is the UEA break. (They call it "Utah Escapes to Anaheim" for a reason). It's gonna be packed, I'm suspecting as bad if not worse than we experienced in April. It's also fall break for many AZ schools, which just adds to the madness. Honestly, it's only the potential for crowds (and heat) that has me thinking about not coming at this point. . . . I just cant handle either very well.

Oh great. How is it I missed this info?? Shoot, our family trip is the 13th through the 19th. Leave it to me to pick the worst times.

Well, it's not like I could have changed it anyways. Our APs are expiring and that was just the week that worked out best for us.

What is the deal lately?? The times that seem like they should be slow, like when ya'll went in April, turn out to be busy. I cannot imagine how things are going to be after the DCA renovation. I think it's going to be so crowded all the time.

Anyway, as long as I go into the situation prepared for the worst then I think I can handle it. I'm already expecting the weather to be hot. So now I'll just expect high crowds.

It's when I go thinking it's going to be empty and it's packed that I end up getting ticked off. I have RideMax so I'll try that for the first time too and see if that helps. Plus we'll have 5 and a 1/2 days in the parks so I'm sure over the course of the trip we'll fit everything in.
(That's me trying to be positive because I really HATE crowds and heat!!!!!!!!!)
