OK - how do I post a picture? I can post the link, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to post a picture :confused3

Is it in a photobucket account? If so, then just click on the part that says IMG Code and post it.

If not, ummmm, hmmm. When you are making a post, up top there are different things to use to edit your post, one of them is a little square that has a mountain looking image in it. Click on that, and just put the URL of your image in there.

Did that totally confuse you?? LOL Maybe someone else can explain it better. Or if you post the link, I'll see if I can post the pic for you.

OK - I'm gonna try....

This is a great DISign by Rumblytumbly:

I thought this was soooo cute!

You should definitely go home!
We felt the earthquake, too! I was so freaked because I was at work with 12 little ones (3-4 years old) so I'm like 'THIS CANNOT BE HAPPENING NOW!". So we told them we were playing a game and we had to get under the table. This little boy, Elijah, was the last one eating lunch and I had told him he had to finish his chicken nuggets before I opened his chocolate pudding. Well he had just finished and then the earthquake came and I told him to get under the table and he's like "MY PUDDING":lmao: I said "It's be there when you get back!":lmao::laughing:

Well, at least he had his priorities straight! Save the pudding!

Glad to hear our Southern California ladies made it through the earthquake OK. Stay cool and well!

At work with 12 little 3-4 olds?? Do you watch 3 and 5 year olds? I'm thinking I just found my babysitter for our September DL trip!

haha, yes I have a group of eight 3-4 year old kids that I lead in activities at summer camp. I also teach Sunday school at my church with 3yo

Just dropped down to this board from the sewers on Disney for Families (I am figuring out how to make a minnie mouse twirl skirt for DD8) and was horrified to see we have hit the second page again!! What's next? Page three?????

That cannot happen!!!!!

Well, if everyone wouldn't have gone off and got a life.....:rolleyes1

Good luck making the skirt! Can't you just buy one? That's what I'd do. :rotfl:

ooohhhhhhhh! we want pictures of the skirt! I love doing stuff like that--wish I had time to do it . . . . .

You sound like me  . I'm very uncreative and worthless when it comes to making things. I couldn't sow a skirt or anything else if my life depended on it. I have a hard time sowing a rip on a seam, so I bring stuff to my mom to fix  . I can sow on buttons though :thumbsup2 .

But good for you Amy for trying!

P.S. If any of you ladies care :rolleyes1 , I have my ultrasound next Thursday to find out what I'm having. So I'll let you all know when I find out :) .

YES!!!!!!!!!!!! I care!!!!!! I was going to ask you if you knew what it was but I didn't want to be pushy. :rotfl: How exciting!!!! :yay:

Oh, and if you can sew on a button, then you are doing better then me. :rolleyes1

I guess two of us could start a pool . .. . or maybe we should start a pool on the birthdate of the new baby? I'm excited for you . . . how are your son and daughter taking the news of the impending little one?

In junior high, they made the girls take sewing and the boys take auto shop.

I rebelled and refused to take sewing . . . so they put me in an art class. I do, however, know how to sew, just never have the time to do it . . . . .

Probably, but would it have the appropriate spin factor??

YBut good for you Amy for trying!

I started sewing a coupole years ago. I hadn't sewn anything since 8th grade when suddenly I was making a Jasmine costume for our Disney Cruise!! Since then I have made a few other costumes, ended up recruited for making costumes for my kids Spring Musical this year!! 6 dresses in 5 days!!!

P.S. If any of you ladies care :rolleyes1 , I have my ultrasound next Thursday to find out what I'm having. So I'll let you all know when I find out :) .

I can't wait to hear!!! If I'd had my first one before 38, I'd had another!!!

I took the home ec class, sewed the sleeves in my garment upside down!! Burned the pudding, and fried the ironing project in 8th grade. Since I wanted to goto vet school even back then, I was scornful of all domestic arts!!

Who knew that I would end up being the domestic arts queen now!! I sew, I iron EVERYTHING (I think that is the Ohio in me), and am known as Becky Crocker at work for my baking!! Tiramisu or cheesecake anybody?

I fear my highschool classmates wouldn't recognize me!!!

But enough about me...sorry, got a wee carried away there!!!

I can't sow either...:rolleyes1

I know I haven't been on in a bit. I'm currently in NY with dh's family. On Sunday we're headed to NJ to visit with my family. I'll be back on around the middle of August.

Hope you all are having a nice week and that you have a great weekend. :goodvibes

Hi guys-
I am another one who cannot sew for beans. I can attach a button, but other than that, I take things to a tailor. In fact, in school I got all A's, a few B's and one C in my life. And it was in sewing. I swear I tried so hard and failed miserably. I probably should have truly failed but the teacher took pity on me gave me a C. :sad2:

Anyway, Katie, of course we are all very excited to hear about your baby! Let us know the sex and any names you are thinking about. How fun!

Can you believe tomorrow is August 1st? Where has the summer gone?

Please tell me you don't iron your nightgown or pj's like my mom does. Who irons their sleepwear?? :rotfl:
Oh, and I'll take the cheesecake please!! ;)

Hi Steph! I hope you are having fun. Can't wait to hear about it.

In a way I'm eager for it to end because it's been a long, hot, boring summer here. BUT I am not eager to get back into the hectic school schedules and all the homework! :scared:

Hi Girls!

It's been a hectic week since we got back from our weekend quickie to DLR!

Callie: I'm sorry to hear about your friend. That sounds like a real bummer. But here's something to cheer you up:

Our boyfriend says hi and "Cheer up, Momma."

And here's a shot of my two favorite guys:

My husband, Marty always seems to get into the show somehow. Is it me, or does he look exactly like Paul McCartney in that wig?

We had a great time, just the two of us. Since I was up all night with insomnia, we left the house around 5 am, and were at the park in time for a corny dog lunch. But the first thing we did is head over to TSMM. All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We loved it. The wait time said 60 minutes, and we were on the ride in about 35. We rode it about 5 times over the weekend, but used the single rider line. We always got on within 10 minutes and were in the same group of 8 passengers. It worked perfectly for us!

We went to the Billys show at Saddleback College, and that was also tons of fun. We had front row seats, but they were very strict about taking pictures, so I only got a couple.

We also got to ride in the Lily Belle. I went up to the Main St train station during the parade and just asked the first person I saw. He said he had to check and was back within a couple of minutes and said it was on its way in. It was really a neat experience! Here is a photo of Marty enjoying the luxury ride:

We ate at the French Market for dinner one night, and it was really good. I had Roasted Chicken with mashed potatoes, veggies and corn bread, and Marty had Salmon with rice, veggies and corn bread. It was not cheap, but it was good.

We also ate at Riverbelle Terrace for breakfast and lunch and Rancho del Z for dinner one night. The rest of the time, we just "snacked around." I did notice that the bakeries at the resort all featured a variety of cupcakes ranging from around $2.75 to $4.50. I'm not really a cake person, but they sure looked cute.

Well, that's it for my mini TR. If you have any questions, fire away.

I'm feeling a little sad, because this is the first time in literally years, that I don't have specific plans for my next trip. We always go during the Christmas season, so I better get planning.........
