Hi everyone!!!

Capri, good to see you!! We've missed you around here. I'm glad your WDW planning is mostly done. It can be a lot to think about.

Shelley, I hate that I have to take you off the list!!! :sad2: Airfare does suck right now. But if anything should change for you, just let me know!!

Cristabel, did you end up at DL after all?

Steph, I hope it works out and you are able to still join us in October. :wizard:

Tracey, I'm sorry to hear about your mom's loss. I bet spending time with the grandkids will help cheer her up and I hope things work out to make it a really nice trip.

Well, I'm pooped. The inlaws just left. We did the twins b-day thing today. Chuck E Cheese, then cake and presents. I'm ready to call it a day and it's only about 5:40!! Got some cleaning up to do and then I'm going to chill out with the tv the rest of the night.
See ya!!

I was planning for Friday but I'm blocked out and broke so no Disney until October:guilty:

Pssst! Just sneaking into say [in case no one had mentioned it yet] that the Deluxe Rooms that you have reserved for next year?

Well they all have microwaves in them now! [FINALLY!] :goodvibes

Hope everyone is well!
Lorealle

Thanks Lorealle!

Lorealle: that is so cool! Thanks for all your hard work to make this happen!

I thought of you yesterday, my college roomie and family are coming Wed. and we are going to DLR on Thurs. and I was having flashes of coming to your place Thurs. nite--especially since you had the Entertainment Rate suddenly available (why did you have to go and do that?) Anyway, I think I've decided against it just because I believe they're going to San Diego the next day, so we wouldn't get full benefit of staying AT the resort at the Hojo (even though I think their 9 year old would love the new Castaway Cove) oh dear . . . . decisions, decisions. . . .

Lorealle- I need to call you, we are planning to go in Oct.:thumbsup2

Hope everyone is doing well.

I am a terrible mother- Riley Bday is in 10 days and I have not planned anything:confused: I did get her present already.

Girls--we have got to stay off the second page! Yikes!

Thanks for that! Good to see you around here. Stop in whenever. :goodvibes

What are your dates for Oct? We're going then too.
And you are not a bad mom. Far from it. 10 days is still plenty of time. :)

So how's everyone doing?? Staying cool? Enjoying their summer??

I got some papers in the mail the other day from the twins school. It was a class room assignment and a list of items they will need. Wow, it's only July and they are already doing this. Plus when I was out shopping they were already setting up aisles with lunch boxes and other school supplies!!

In another month, they'll be putting Christmas stuff up. :santa: :rotfl:

Anyway, I am not ready to think about back to school yet. The thought of all those school supplies and new clothes, shoes, haircuts, etc for 4 kids is enough to make me wanna cry!! OR rob a bank... So I'll just set those papers aside and not worry about it for another month at least. :thumbsup2

Off to have some lunch. See ya later.

Hi everyone, just checking in. Our Carlsbad weekend was very nice. We left home at 10:30 am in shorts & tank tops and it was already over 90 degrees. Pulled into our hotel at noon, got out of the car and were instantly COLD! It was 69 and overcast. What a difference! Our room was very nice and the entire hotel was brandy-spanking-new and the staff was very friendly. We spent one day at the beach and harbor and one day at the Wild Animal Park...well, a half a day. It was so hot there we could only endure 4 hours. I cannot walk in the heat for more than a couple of hours (as those of you may recall on our last day - Sunday - last April on the girls trip, I melted down at 2 pm and spent the rest of the day in the lobby of DLH). It does require a lot of walking. The Journey into Africa tour is awesome, that was a highlight. We did watch the Legoland fireworks from our hotel and it was very foggy, but they were still good. Anyway, hope everyone is having a great week so far.:)

Beth, Staples has started their Back to School 1 cent sale. So go shopping in air conditioned comfort and get lots of stuff without spending alot.

Hi Disney lovin ladies!!:dance3:

Just thought I'd check in.:flower3:

It was blistering hot where we live today. A good day to stay inside. My garage felt like a furnace!! :headache:

Lorealle, I also need to call and get a ressie for October. I think I finally got all the answers i needed from my kids, to know how many rooms to get.

So what is this 1 cent deal from Staples? Sounds pretty good to me. My oldest DD is a teacher, who might like to check it out too.

Hope everyone is good!:grouphug:

Linda, sounds like you had a great time. And 69 degrees sounds heavenly!! LOL We were supposed to reach 112 today.

Would you believe there isn't a Staples in Vegas? The closest one to us is in Arizona. Otherwise I would. 1 cent is within my price range. :rotfl:

Hi, good to see ya! Staples also has something called Teacher Appreciation Day. Not sure what all that means, but she might want to check that out too: http://www.staples.com/sbd/cre/marketing/tad_2008/?storeId=10001&cm_ven=Glamour&cm_ite=teacherday

I'm so excited that so many of us are going in October!! :yay:

Or we don't have anything good to say:lmao:

Well here's some news: I'm planning a vacation for myself & my grandparents to Disney World in 2010 :goodvibes

Aw, how fun! That's great your grandparents are willing and able to do something like that with you. :goodvibes What a great thing to look forward to.

Just saying howdie to everyone. It seems like we are all pretty busy lately.
Hey there! Not all that busy here, just nothing much going on during the long "dog days of summer".

I do love that our ladies trip ticker is now in the 7 month range!! Even if it is 7 months, 3 weeks and 3 days......;)

Hi all. Sorry I've MIA lately. Monday night we lost power for 10 hours. So we lost a lot of our groceries  What can I say when bad things happen they happen together. The heat is horrendous, it's been around 110 every day this week:eek: Oh well I hope you all are having a better week than we have had. Talk to you all later.

Oh man, that sucks. :headache: We were out of everything last week-end so Sunday I went and bought about $250 worth of groceries and as I was looking at my full fridge and freezer, I suddenly wondered what I'd do if we lost power!! I'm sorry that actually happened to you. :guilty:

I hope it cools down for you some. Does it at least get cool at night? It was around 112, 113 today but at night it's still in the mid to upper 80's. Ugh.

I'm so over summer and ready for Fall. That's my favorite season!!

We'll have to pretend it's not hotter then heck outside and tide ourselves over with thoughts of falling leaves, crisp air, pumpkins, and something yummy baking in the oven filling the kitchen with the scent of cinnamon or nutmeg. :goodvibes

I haven't even told them:lmao: I don't plan to either, not until it gets closer, like say next summer. I'm planning on inviting them but it's up to them if they want to come. If they aren't able or up to it, I'll see if my cousin or sisters want to come. All I know is January 2010 I'm going to WDW.

I see. Well, still, it will give you something to plan for and look forward to. When in January are you going? I wonder if you go early enough in the month, if the Christmas decorations would still be up? That would be really neat to see. I loved it in WDW at Christmas time. :goodvibes

OMG, it's 8:35 in the morning and my kids are already complaining to me that they are bored. It's gonna be a long day.......:sad2:

Have a good one ladies!!! :)
