Afternoon all. As usual you guys have been busy!
Well I am back from my running round. Took Katy for her birthday lunch at Marie Calendars. That was fun and yummy. Of course I splurged and had a piece of pie. YUM! Then I felt ok so I took the girls to the movies. For those wondering about Marley and Me I liked it but it WAS a tear jerker at the end. The girls and I did really enjoy it though and sometimes you can use a good cry. I wouldn't NOT see it because of the ending. It fit is all I can say and it didn't make it bad. I enjoyed it and so did the girls so it was worth seeing I think.
Anyway now we are home and just going to relax and watch the tube. Still all reruns so probably just watch some videos. They showed a trailer for the new Night at the Museum 2 or whatever it is called so the girls want to watch the orig so we may watch that. They had a few interesting things that are coming out. Most of the previews were actually for kid type movies.
Oh and there was this whole flock of wild turkeys on this REALLY busy road that I was driving down. It was SO weird to see them all. Like 30 of them on this REALLY busy 5 lane road. Hopefully no one hit any of them with their cars.
Anyway I am off to eat dinner and watch tv.
Tomorrow is my baby's 9th birthday. She is SOOO excited. I can't believe it. I remember the day she was born. It was 1999 and it was very exciting. she was my first baby and it was the dawn of the millenium and she was born on a Friday night at 9:16 p.m. Missed midnight by a few hours. I was in labor for 22 hours and she was a week late (was due Christmas day). It was VERY exciting and I ended up with an emergency C section after all that labor. But we got on the news as one of the last babies born in the OLD millenium. She hates being born on New Year's eve but I think it is exciting and esp being born during the end of the old millenium. Anyway my bit of nostalgia for the day.
See you gals tomorrow.
