Congrats on the baby!

We are going to two different families house, so all we have is a tiny little tree up. it's a little depressing.

We did manage to dress the dogs up though:

OK, here are the snow pics for anyone interested. I took these when I first got home, around 12:30 or so. It continued to snow for another 2-3 hours, so we ended up with more then that.

Wow! We have some chatty kathy's around here tonight!

Congrats Heather on the new baby! I wish you a happy and healthy 9 months. How wonderful! :goodvibes

I'm loveing seeing everyone's trees! They are all so great and unique.

Audra- You and I have just bonded. I have a special place in my heart for pugs, black ones in particular. The best dog I've ever had was a black pug named Macy, I've had two fawns since, and while they are the best, they just don't come close to Macy. Your dogs are precious.

Stacerita-I tried Wen once. I used it for a while, and loved the idea of it, but it just got so expensive and it seemed to weigh my hair down after a while. QVC sells it also. Sometimes, they will have a great deal on it. I'm addicted to Ojon hair products right now. I still use my Wen occasionally when I need a break from the Ojon.

Beth-I love those snow pictures! This is my third windter ever in Tucson, and I hope to see snow on a cactus one of these days. I think it would be so cool.

Hey to everyone else! I've read everything, but am off to bed now. Good night!

Heather

That's another one I haven't heard of. I'm so cheap. I just use whatever is on sale. :rotfl2:

I used to do that. But loved the infomercial, so I tried it. And now I get tons of compliments on my hair. It is pricey, but it lasts a long time and I don't go through tons of other things trying to get the same effect.

It's been raining like crazy today here in Los Angeles. Haven't seen any snow on the mountains here yet but maybe there will be some tomorrow morning. :)

Hello Ladies,

I'm officially finished with my Christmas shopping as of this past Saturday. I'm still waiting on two gifts to arrive so I can wrap them. Funny thing is that the most stressful part of the holiday I have encountered was sending Christmas cards:laughing:

So my cousin, Alicia, text me this morning and she said that she just had to tell me that she and her husband, Gus, are giving her mom (my aunt) and her two sisters (my little cousins) Deluxe Annual passes for Christmas. Talk about a sweet gift!!!
Now I have someone to go with, yay!!!!:goodvibes

Stacerita... Thanks for the links.. i appreciate them.. i confess..i'm a slave to conditioner.. :rotfl:

Beth....WoW.... i've Never seen snow like that in Vegas... i wonder what it will do to the palm trees..i live in El Paso, Texas and it's weather is alot like vegas..every now and then we get snow...

Eatmypixiedust... i *Love* your tinkerbell tree topper...all your ornaments are so cute! I'm going to save the pictures and send them to my mom..i think she wants to start a disney tree.. either she or me.. :lmao:

Audra ... how adorable.. those are some cute little dogs...i bet they have alot of personality.

Disney inspired.. how old are your nieces? That's such a great gift.

I hope everyone stays warm and safe and dry on this cold winters day.

Cheryl I am taking the Meloxicam for my costalchondritis which is this weird rib inflamation thingy I got while in Florida. It doesn't seem like it is doing much but he says it is an anti-inflammatory which is supposed to reduce the inflamation in my sternum which is causing the inflammation to spread out to the muscles inbetween my ribs. It is just weird cuz it causes this burning sensation that radiates to my armpit of all places that feels like a bee sting. And of course now that it is trying to heal I have this infernal itching.

Well, I guess that makes sense. It is an anti-inflammatory. P.S. I have had costochrondtritis in the past too--not fun--so I feel for you!

Just want to wish everyone a happy holidays!!!

Here's my tree...

And my DS3 who met up with a batch of Santas in San Francisco and was just thrilled to take a picture with all of them!

Hi Jen! Love your tree and mantle. So pretty! :goodvibes And what a fun group of Santas.

Anyone ever seen the movie Music and Lyrics with Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore? We own it, and I watched it the other day. Now I've got that song, Pop Goes My Heart, stuck in my head. It's catchy in an annoying way. :cool1: Reminds me of Wham, which as an 80's girl, I totally loved!!

I love that movie! If the opening song is hysterical. Now I'm gonna go have to see if it's downloadable from Netflix.

We did manage to dress the dogs up though:

That's awesome news, Cristabel. Do they live close and will they carpool?

Eatmypixiedust - I am in love with your Disney tree. :lovestruc I wish I could get away with that, but I know my dh would throw a fit. Maybe someday I'll add a second tree just to dedicate to my Disney ornaments.

Good morning ladies! It's raining hard here in Phoenix, so I'm cuddled up in bed with my coffee and the laptop. Wonder how long I can stay here? :rolleyes1

Cute tree Jennifer! Was your DS confused about why so many Santas at once? (by the way--cute Santas--hubba hubba!)

are all so great and unique.

Heather

I have tried Wen and Ojon both--my hair is so dry (I swear, I look like a witch sometimes). My assistant turned me on to this stuff called "KMS shine" that really works--at least for me. I use my usual shampoo/conditioner (I have a collection in my shower--LOL) and then put on the KMS before I dry my hair. Then I put some more on the ends after it is dry. Really helps a lot.

Good Morning everyone!

I'll have to look into this KMS 'stuff'. Does it have silicone in it? I avoid it at all costs. I love Wen and Ojon becuase they are sulfate free, and my hair color last sooo long with them. The sulfate free shampoos are also great for cleaning, but not sstripping all the healthy oils out of your hair. However, they do not remove silicone completely, and after a while, your hair dries out even further becuase the shaft can't breathe with all the silicone built up on it. Long explanation, but I've found in the end that the longer I'm gong silicone free, and using natural oils on my hair, the healthier it's getting slowly but surely. I'll look into it though because I'm always up for trying something new. The 'cheap' hair line that I use sometimes when I'm on a 'I'm spending too much' kick is Healthy Sexy hair. Again, it's sulfate free.

I have an idea, and I want to throw it out here. I have a digital scrapbooking program from Creative memories that includes Disney themed pages. I would love to make us a digital scrapbook after the trip. Everyone could email me their favorite photos, I could include them with the photopass pictures, and make a nice little book for us to have to remember our trip by. I think I could make CD's of the pages, and you could print them out at home, or I could have the books printed. Printing the books is not the cheapest, but they are adorable. Let me know what you all think, and if you are interested in participating, tell me, and I'll add your name to my list.

Talk with you all later! Oh, and the Speech Therapist is finally going to make it to our house tomorrow. I'm anxious to get the 'show on the road'. I already know from the Developmental Specialist that visited 2 weeks ago, that my son qualifies for services. I'm just now waiting for an actual diagnosis and word from the experts on how behind they feel he is. They are also reccomending that an Occupational Therapist treat him also due to weakened mouth and tongue muscles. (I always thought his sticking out his tongue all the time was a quirk, not a sign of poor muscle tone-the nurse in me felt really stupid for missing this. :guilty: ) I just hope my little man gets the help he needs.

I have to add that Jennifer, you have the cutest treeand little boy! Those Santas don't look too bad either!

Eatmypixiedust-What a great Disney tree! I can easily see 3 trees in my future, a kid's Hallmark one, a formal one, and a disney one! I wonder if I should grab the Tink topper now, or just wait. I always worry that they won't have those cute things around when I finally want to do it!
