For anyone less ambitious and with a Cost Plus nearby, they have a kit/mix for monkey bread.
Oh, now you tell me! I drove right by Cost Plus on the way to the grocery store.

OK, gotta stick my sleepy kid in the car and go pick up hubby at his mom's. Today was the celebration of his dad's life (aka time for MIL to sob and wonder why DH doesn't bring our son, aka tomorrow's the second anniversary of FIL's death) and MIL has a small shindig in some sort of Korean or Korean Buddhist tradition, but transportation got goofed up. Hubby left from work to get there by bus, and was supposed to get home with his brother who lives in the same town as us, but turns out his sister (and two kids and brother of her late boyfriend) had MIL pick them up in Seattle...so hubby had to take MIL's car and drive to North Seattle to take them home, and now he's on the way to his mom's, and instead of just lending him her car, Eamon and I have to go get him.
Ugh.
That has nothing to do with anything, but the good thing is, when I post late like this, very few people see it or respond to it!![]()

What's worse is that tonight of all nights, DS wanted to go to bed EARLY. Poor thing.
Ugh, what a rough day for you and your son!

Come on. We'll slap a lime green mickey head on it and then everyone will want to have one as well.Trust me.
In that case, sign me up for 5!!!!
Drat! My late night posting was found!![]()
Gawd that was a pain. And DS didn't even have the decency to fall asleep in the car. I *thought* he was asleep, then I got to MIL's town and was on the long long multi-lane road into the city, and was waiting at a long stoplight, when suddenly I hear "go, Mowy, go!" (he calls me by my first name b/c 1. I don't care, 2. I called my mom by her first name, and 3. I don't talk in "3rd person" to him because it makes me twitch LOL, and hubby calls me Molly, so he just never GOT that I was anything but 'Mowy' (except for when he thought my name/title was MILK))
He nearly frightened me out of my skin! And had to explain red lights, yet again.
Then he was still awake when we got to MIL's apt complex, then hubby engaged him in conversation instead of being quiet, etc etc, and so he was still up and eating a Korean apple/pear hybrid thing at 11pm.![]()
I read this last night and today I was driving with my 3 year old niece in the car and everytime she saw a red light she'd yell at me to slow down...even though the red light wasn't for me. Then we got stopped by a train, and once it went by she was yelling at me to "GO!"...even though the crossing bars hadn't gone up yet. She's my little backseat driver!

There you go again, with your PMS talk!![]()
I thought the same thing when I read her post!
