UMMM. NO. SO FAR WE HAVE ONLY HAD CONFIRMATION OF THE EXISTENCE OF THE MONKEY BRIDE FROM WENDY AND FROM SOMEONE WHO THINKS KURT THE BILLY IS "SEXY"--I WOULDN'T BASE ANY APOLOGY ON THAT! (AND TINA--WE'RE STILL WAITING ON THE "KISS" STORY!)

Why would you put sexy in quotes? Doesn't everybody think of him that way?
As for the kiss, Kirk does an Elvis show at a bar in Fullerton every Wednesday, and Marty and I went and saw it last week. He sings for about 30 minutes, then takes a 30 minute break, sings for 30 minutes, etc. It's very casual, and he interacts with the people in the bar during his show and comes out and hangs whith whoever's there during his breaks. Well, he likes his Corona, and drinks it throught the night, so by the time we were leaving, he was feeling very friendly, and so was I:lovestruc Just a totally innocent hug and kiss goodbye in a seedy bar!

And once again, the monkey does exist! I had to go through the ride a few times to make sure my eyes weren't playing tricks on me:eek:

I thought I signed up for this one. Add me please. Thank you! :)

I always work the day after Thanksgiving. I have even worked many years on Thanksgiving Day. The joys of working in a hospital. Sick people stick around even on the holidays.

My issue with Splash is well.....the splash. My hair doesn't take well to getting wet like that.
Sorry if I missed you. I'll add you now to WCT.

Ruben works in a hospital too and often has to work holidays. Hospitals never close.

I'm going to buy you one of those hair ponchos that the older ladies wear in the rain to protect their hair. You'll be looking stylin! :rolleyes1

I just have to brag about my DD. We got her report card yesterday and it was quite amazing. All A's and one B. And two of the A's were A+. She is at a college prep type school and her classes are weighted, she ended up with a 4.5 GPA. I am so proud of her. And she still had time to be on the flag football team and the computer club. I was a bit worried since this is the number one school in the county, but she showed she deserves to be there. Just had to brag.
That's awesome. Good for her!! It's hard enough getting all A's at a regular HS these days, let alone a college prep school. You have every reason to be a very proud mama. :goodvibes

I will totally wear that hair poncho. I should get my hiney down to the dollar tree and stock up on them. Maybe get one to match each outfit I plan to wear.

:rotfl2:

I grabbed one by mistake at the Dollar Tree one time because it was mixed in with the ponchos. When I opened it at home I was like, what the heck is this???? :rotfl:

Well, it's settled then. No more excuses.

Just a totally innocent hug and kiss goodbye in a seedy bar!

:sad2: Sigh. . . why oh why didn't I tag along with Tina. . . :love1:

And, because I know we share the same good taste and perfect vision for Disney's hidden gems (like our beloved:charac2: ), I believe you about the Monkey Bride. She exists people!

I'm still alive...

I had to work today, and it was soooo busy.

I'm going to bed.

Talk with you all later.

Don't do anything I wouldn't do while I'm gone! ;)

I need some Christmas cheer. I can't believe I could give a care-less if Christmas happened this year. I don't want to be a grinch, but really, my family has gotten out of control with their petty fights. :sad2:

Well, it is time to find your own Xmas joy. Just find some like minded people like you and celebrate with them. I have really had to change my celebrations after having kids because I didn't want them exposed to some of that. Just not interested. You're welcome to come up to Mukilteo and join us. We're really fun, and I could point you in the direction of Forks!

Hubby has agreed to plan for me to go on this trip (what he thought we were doing before, I'm not quite sure!).

But he says that instead of all three of us going right back down at the end of March for his b'day, that he and DS should go down alone.

I said "yes, of course, good plan!" quickly, and not FIVE minutes later was almost in tears, thinking of them going alone and how much fun they would have and how awful it would be up at home alone!

I have obviously lost my mind.:sad2:

So you're really coming! Woohoo! I know what you mean about the guys though. I love to do things alone, but can hardly stand to be away from them. I don't know if I could let them go to DL without me!

Bragging rights well deserved. Congratulations! I am still trying to survive middle school with my son!

:rotfl: Edward would make my holidays better! :santa: :thumbsup2

Thanks. Technically, she is a middle schooler, well Jr Higher. Her college prep school goes from 7-12. I weel from tomorrow she will be 13!!!:scared1: I can't have a teenager. Yikes!

I went out this evening and bought all the stuff needed to make Monkey Bread, I can't wait until I have some free time to make it!!!!

And I realized the one redeeming quality of the holidays: all the hot boys come out of hiding and are all over the place. Seriously, where are these guys hiding during the rest of the year!?

With their friends or their mama's. Or just MIA.

Maybe I need to get out a bit and see whats out there.

Its been ages since I made Monkey Bread. Let me know how it turns out.

Yeah, but do you have monkeys?

Nothing to see here...go to the next post, please...
Liar. I wanna know what it was.

I can't have a teenager. Yikes!
Be afraid. Something weird happens to them when they become teens. It's very scary. :scared1:

Sounds like a DMO to me.

DMO = Drunk Make Out

No make out! Just one kiss. And my husband was right there, laughing at me!

And Callie, we must figure out a way to both be in the area on a Wednesday night. He doesn't go on until 10-10:30, so maybe starting a Thursday-Sunday trip the night before would work. This will be us after a couple of drinks and some Elvis love:love1:

Well actually....just down the road is a place where I took dance as a girl in the home of Miss Shyla. And indeed she had a whole room of caged monkey's. I assume they are still there...
